4 out of 5 eggsGreat Graphics Card!

Pros: Great grpahics card! Plays Team Fortress 2 and Counter Strike Source on Steam perfectly fine on full graphics settings. Never caused any problems with my computer, works great! Very quiet.

Cons: The drivers that came on CD were not correct. I had to contact ATI and they directed me to the correct hotfix for this graphics card. Otherwise, everything is great!

Other Thoughts: NOTE: They have changed this card since I bought mine. I went to purchase history to find this and it brought me here! Mine has a bright blue sleek fan on it and looks slightly different. I guess it's the same thing though?!

2 out of 5 eggsRestarts & ati2dvag blue screen

Pros: Excellent gaming quality. Had no problems when gaming. Excellent graphics.

Cons: When surfing the web, my computer would randomly restart and/or give me the dreaded bluescreen with a problem with the ati2dvag in a continuous loop. Would have to leave the computer off for at least 5 minutes before restarting or no boot.

Other Thoughts: I'm exchanging for an NVidia

1 out of 5 eggsTrash

Pros: None

Cons: The thing never lived up to its stats. Every game I played cause a crash ,even just watching a video caused a blue screen to show up after the computer stoped working, I did every update plus updated every driver on my computer and it just got worse. I'll never buy from this company again. Infact the video card before this one was a Sapphire and it died only just a year plus after I installed it. nothing but bad luck..

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for and I went cheep and I got cheep..

1 out of 5 eggsNot so great

Pros: It came in a nice box and runs Windows just fine.

Cons: Try to play a full screen game on this and it just crashes.

Other Thoughts: Tried contracting support for Sapphire and they have never responded to me. Just poor customer service. Won't buy another product with their name on it.

5 out of 5 eggsgood card

Pros: Good.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Forgot to mention it went into a Dell XPS 2 like it was supposed to be there all along. Win XP system, used the drivers supplied on the disk. Install was painless, no problems at all.

Been on 24/7 for the last roughly two weeks seeing heavy use on games. 100% good choice for an upgrade.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's good

Pros: Well, it's quiet and it replaced an old 9800XT that finally died. This was obviously a huge increase in performance for my kid's rig.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Good card at a good price.

3 out of 5 eggsBe careful - Compatibility issues

Pros: Great value. Hard to find another video card with the same specs for the price.

Cons: Driver issues, compatibility issues with Windows 7 & Vista on older hardware.

Other Thoughts: I ordered this card so I could upgrade to Windows 7. I installed it on my Gigabyte GA-K8U-939 M/B (about 4 years old). It appeared to work fine initially in Windows XP, then the video started freezing at least once a day. Installed Windows 7 on a separate drive, but the drivers would not load (Code 43 error). Spent days troubleshooting, applying latest hotfixes, AGP hotfix for the M1689 M/B chipset, and tried every other solution mentioned by people having the same problem. Windows 7 had native drivers for my motherboard and the video card, but I still never got the driver to work in Windows 7. Since I use dual displays, not being able to load the drivers made the card useless, so I had returned it for a refund.

Also, if your display uses a standard D-Sub VGA connector, the video quality using the supplied DVI to VGA adapter is not very good. My old ATI video card that I was replacing produced much better quality video through the VGA port than this one.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far, so good...

Pros: Very easy install...nice features, great card to upgrade my older HP PC119A board that wasn't up to snuff with Win7 graphics features... I'm not doing anything graphically strenuous with this unit, but I'm sure I could if I wanted to. The fact that Sapphire bothered to put several different connectors and adapters right in the box to enable a wide variety of capabilities says they are CUSTOMER FOCUSED. I like this a LOT... It was a very thoughtful and refreshing thing to do. I especially appreciated having the VGA-to-DVI connector handy which saved me an extra trip to the store for a cable! These are nice extra touches that will certainly help me to easily decide in favor of Sapphire on my next video card purchase, all other factors being anywhere CLOSE to equal!

Cons: Nada...excellent card, decent price, no this Sapphire unit from NewEgg with confidence!

Other Thoughts: I'm a fairly new "egger" (heh), but I'm already recommending NewEgg to my friends, family, and associates. I think, as many others also seem to attest, that NewEgg stands apart from the rest of the crowd in their drive to deliver quality products at very competitive prices AND back them up with great service after the sale....ALWAYS the proof in the pudding! Thanks NewEgg!

3 out of 5 eggsNot Reccomended

Pros: Inexpensive card, works for AGP, Works well when it actually works.

Cons: Poor Drivers were provided on the installation CD. Hot-fix drivers have been released but they do not entirely, if at all fix the problem; the problem being that, the card does not perform nearly as well as it should, and in some cases the card crashes or has other strange problems. While, the card does not crash during normal operation, during some games it may crash, or exhibit performance levels far below what it should exhibit. It works completely fine for some games, and older games will work fine too. Its poor performance with things like League of Legends, for example, cannot be overlooked.

Other Thoughts: If I were you, I would buy something else. Or, just wait until you get a PCI express board; using something like this to extend the life of an old system is dubious at best.

5 out of 5 eggsBreathe new life into mature hardware

Pros: Low-cost ($45 After Rebate), compatible with AGP 8x slot, dual DVI ports, along with SVIDEO port, quiet.

Cons: None - seriously.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card for an older Dell Precision 450 workstation that had an odd-ball nVidia Quadro AGP video card that wasn't supported under Windows 7. Went shopping for price, came across this card on sale, with a rebate and pulled the trigger. No regrets at all!

This card took a machine that was running the standard SVGA driver included with Win7 and improved performance markedly. This desktop was all but unusable with that generic driver on the nVidia card, but once I popped in the ATI HD3650 card Win7 installed the right driver and the machine was very snappy. This machine is no slouch - it has dual 2.4 Gig hyper-threading Xeon processors and 2 Gigs of RAM, with this video card the machine is quite usable under Win7 Enterprise.

As a relative indicator of system performance with this card installed, the Windows System Assessment scores for this card:
Graphics: 4.4
Gaming Graphics: 6.0
