The Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 4890 card has 1GB of high-performance GDDR5 memory, clocked at 1050MHz and the GPU core is clocked at 870MHz. Pros: - I spent a week reading ~20 reviews on the 4890/4850/4770/gtx260c216/gtx275, and user reviews. In the end, I picked this card up from Newegg and I am very happy. This is perfect for gaming at 1900x1200.
- Other makers/brands/models are a little cheaper or include a game, but I decided the better cooling and quieter performance was a wise investment.
- Installation was a breeze using latest drivers from ATI's website.
- I read that referrence 4890s are loud. However, the custom cooler on this card is surprisingly quiet. I can barely hear it and don't at all when I have music/games going.
- It does generate some heat, but I keep the tower under my desk so it doesn't bother me at all.
- Definitely worth the extra money for the cooler/quieter performance. Good job Sapphire!
- Newegg is fast!
Cons: - Prices drop every couple of weeks. I got tired of waiting and not gaming. Stop waiting for dx11 cards and buy this card!
Other Thoughts: - Had to disable HDMI Audio in Device Manager so the sound doesn't go to my TV speakers and instead, goes out my motherboard audio port to my Klipsch speakers. Took a while to figure out since the option to disable hdmi sound is not found in ATI CCC.
- Big card, connecting power cables makes it even longer, but if you have empty 5" bays you'll be fine. Fits my Antec 300 case easily.

Pros: Very VERY Quiet! Running auto fan speed it stays 55c idle, 68c load. Auto fan speed stays 40% idle and jumps to 51% load, I cannot hear it at all. I moved it to manual and fan had to be 80% before I could hear it at all. I'm just running it with the Overdrive and it performs beyond expectation, Framerates of all my games are phenomenal with settings maxed at 1920x1200 (CoD5, Crysis, WoW in Dalaran,Hawx). Now the only fans I hear in my case are slight noise from the Tt psu and zalman cpu fan(yes they are too loud imo), soon to be corrected. I hate noise. I recommend this card if you want performance without the noise and a flawless install experience.

Cons: Posted video for around 10 seconds - and that's all she wrote. Dead. RMAing as we speak.
Other Thoughts: I gave it 3 eggs simple because I know it's a decent card, however, DOA products automatically get 2 eggs removed when rating.

Pros: Will run pretty much anything you throw at it at maxed settings without even a hickup.
Cons: I purchased this card in August and after the first month I started having cold boot issues, seems to be a recurring problem with the Sapphire Vapor X series, just google Sapphire Vapor X cold boot issues, although it only seems to affect a small number of the cards.
Other Thoughts: It only took 2 days for me to get the RMA approval from Sapphire, I sent my card to them on 11-03-09 and I will be getting it back on 11-18-09, just slightly more than 2 weeks.

Pros: I bought this card for a new build. I am very happy with it, I have not had any problems at all. I see where some have had issues, but for me no issues whatsoever.
Cons: The newer cards on the market with DX11 support may be a better value at this point, though the benefits of DX11 likely won't be fully realized for several months at the earliest.
