5 out of 5 eggsgood card at the time

Pros: I'm the tip to run just one good video card for my games, have a HD5550 for now. runs Skyrim at 30fps low, at the same time 80% cpu time to boinc.

Cons: not about the card. but my lit bro is gong to git it after i up grad to a new faster video card. so it will not be good for the card one's he gits it :( o will. lol

Other Thoughts: G7 was 6years old and died on me, so it was time to see what ATI can do. i go back and forth aver 10years or so.
so far i like what ATI has ben do'ing. gong to up grad to the HD6750, here that it plays skyrim 30+ on high.

4 out of 5 eggsNice for the money

Pros: Good bank for the buck

Cons: Not for high-end gaming

Other Thoughts: I slapped this into the htpc I was upgrading and it did the trick nicely. Handles Blu-ray at 1080p no problem, streams Netflix HD and handles HULU and YouTube efficiently. Tears up websites and plays older games easily and could well handle higher end games at less than max performance. I had an NVidia card I paid a lot more for that couldn't handle the load this little card does.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Price Performance Ratio

Pros: Low Profile
320 Stream Processors
Easy Overclock w/ ATI Overdrive
Doesnt need External Power
Relatively Quiet

Cons: DDR2
Cheap Fan/ Heatsink
5570/ 5670 arent much more $$

Other Thoughts: Bought This As A Replacement For Onboard HD4200, Made Quite The Difference. I Dropped This In a Budget Build, and I MEAN BUDGET!!! AMD Athlon II x3 440, 2 GB Kingston Hyperx 1066, 500 GB WD Green, ASUS M4a785-M, Hanns-G 20' HDMI Monitor. 500 watt PSU. Plays Newest Games @ 1280/1440 resolutions on high settings fine. At those resolutions, AA is barely needed in most cases... giving a decent boost in frames. I Mainly Play fps games that demand alot of power, and this has been fine. BFbc2, crysis, all of the cod's etc all run fine. This performs on par with a 4650/4670 roughly but includes dx11 support. ran benches using unigine on dx11 and performance was subpar. I would consider replacing when dx11 becomes more prominent in teh coming years.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Win 7 Office PC Card

Pros: Latest & greatest graphics API's supported
Lower power consumption
Low noise
320 "Stream Processors"
1GB frame buffer
Low heat
Adequate 3D performance for non-gaming tasks
Good mixture of connections (VGA/HDMI/Dual-link DVI)

Cons: None really, When I bought it I knew exactly what I was getting, and did not expect more from it than what it was.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card for my office PC. Running a single 1920x1080 monitor. This card is a perfect general work card, it does not pretend to be insanely good at gaming, but it does slice through everyday office/internet tasks like a hot knife through butter. The 320 stream processors are a nice step up from the 5450 series which only feature a paltry 80 SPs. The 4650 cards are a bit faster overall, but run hotter, consume more power, and have an slightly older DX10.1 feature set.

Make no mistake, you can game to an extent on this card if you really wanted to, but it is not designed to be a killer budget gaming card. Instead if you want a reliable, power efficient, and capable video card for Office or HTPC tasks, this card warrants your attention.

I would buy this card again.

4 out of 5 eggs4/5 - Great card solo and crossfire - however...

Pros: Just about everything. Cards run smoothly and fast. The 1GB per card really is a plus. I know StarCraft2 isn't a hugely demanding game, but it cuts through it like gravy. Naturally it won't run heavily loaded games with high AA settings, but I don't usually have it enabled to begin with. Crystal clear video playback.
Three different types of connectors are really handy. In the event of one or more burning up, you can always default to another assuming your monitor/tv supports it.

Price is excellent vs performance. Small/medium sized. Great small cases and big ones with a lot of mess in the way. Also, no additional power connections required. Just plug into your PCI-E slot and go.

Easy installation, as expected.

I'll keep the technical stuff out since it does what I need it to do.

Cons: The only reason this card gets a 4/5 is due to HDMI issues. The cards have excellent HDMI quality when chilling on the desktop, viewing pictures, websites, and video playback.

However, the card runs into huge artifacting issues due to extra heat buildup. I'm assuming the HDMI load put on the GPU really makes it heats up quicker over time. I could play StarCraft2 only on medium settings for about 15-20min before it started artifacting so bad my eyes couldn't take it.

However, this is where the huge contrast between HDMI and DVI became apparent. The cards run excellent and don't force extra heat buildup when using DVI or VGA connections. I can play StarCraft2 on high/ultra settings for hours without any issues from artifacting or video lag.

Other Thoughts: The end result is a card that really does what I need it to do and for the price, size, and lack of extra power needed with quick installation and multiple connectors it was the perfect choice. What originally pushed me over the edge to get it was the HDMI availability, however that naturally was too good to be true.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Card

Pros: Big improvment over onboard ATI4200. Raised my W7 WEI gaming score to 6.6! Overclocked as told in other posts here to 675 & 475. Running ATI Catalyst 10.8 now. The ATI auto tune wanted to run this card at 690 & 500, but had a game crash and backed it back to 675/475 and runs smoothly now.

Appears to run very cool and quiet. I have very happy with this purchase. Yes, not the fastest card by any means, but this card has a lot of BANG for the BUCK! :)

Cons: None really -- card preforms better than expected for only having DDR2 memory.

Other Thoughts: This card will run FFXIV beta in 720P (fullscreen) smoothly with normal settings. My ATI4200 could barely play it with all settings at the very lowest settings. The FFXIV beta benchmark score in 720P is about 1500, vs. the 326 I got from the ATI4200.
