5 out of 5 eggsGood design

Pros: A reliable video card that doesn't sound like there is a vacum cleaner inside your computer! I game with this card all the time and have been using it for over a year now and have had zero problems. I like the vapor X cooler, although to be honest when i first bought the card I thought that vapor x was just a gimmick that looked cool. I will say it is not completely 100% silent, but this card is much quieter than my old HD3850... as well it shoots out the hot air from the back of my case with it's exhaust slot and that helps keep my case cooler which helps my computer parts to last longer.

I knew what to expect from the performance of this card from benchmarks, but it was the vapor-X cooler which surprised me the most... (In a good way!)

Cons: This card is really a repackaged HD5770. Don't let the higher number fool you. The 5770 were good enough at the time that it made sense to include them in the 6000 series, and i'm glad they did... (or I might not have one.)

But I always felt that the price should have been slightly better. The R&D cost life cycle should have been paid off already from the 5000 series run. It was just a remake and I missed out on the lower cost special when they were getting rid of the 5770 left over stock to make room for the newer numbers. When I bought this over a year ago it was a $150 card, but it has served me well.

Other Thoughts: This works really well for 1440x900 resolutions and I found it dependable in my use. But honestly at this point I would recomend comparing it's price to the newer 7000 series graphics cards. If you like the idea of vapor X keep that in mind when your deciding which card to get.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: My monitor's res is somewhat low (1366x768) and this card kills it. Best thing is I upgraded from 4770 and the shadows in Diablo III look better on medium with the new card than high with the old card...Not sure why but +1. It's also quiet....too quiet..

Cons: This should not be a required field unless there's a problem.

4 out of 5 eggsrebate bogus

Pros: Card works great. World of Tanks at 90+ fps on high graphics presettings.

Cons: I bought it on black friday (11-28-2011) and there was a $20 mail in rebate offer. The $20 rebate card never showed up. We filled out all the paperwork the way were supposed to and got it mailed back in within 2 days of recieving the item. Had another item on the same order that the rebate card was here by mid January.

5 out of 5 eggsgute one

Pros: -vapor-x keeps temps below 60 degrees, i dont know the difference between vapor-x and the regular because my other card was an 8600 gts
-amd vision control is the best thing in the world, this coupled with my quad amd processor clocked at 3.7 ghz, the auto tune threw the card way over stock speeds, and it still runs quietly
-my other experiences with intel and nvidia is that they are overpriced, this computer is amazing for having lower end equipment in it and being under 600 bucks

Cons: vision control freaks out when the drivers arent "up-to-date" even though you got them from AMD... just reboot and that error goes away. i guess, to be funny, it doesnt make me eggs? and bacon, mmmmmmm.... bacon!

Other Thoughts: when i hear about people saying this card screams, i have no idea what you are talking about. while playing tf2 with an 8600 gts that card sounded like a banshee. this card looks tf2 in the eyes and continues on. im also able to get away with a 450 watt power supply, i dont recommend it unless you have good airflow. it smelled really good when it came out of the box. since this has an hdmi port i plan on putting it in an htpc when this computer hits the cutting board.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for the price

Pros: Stays cool (35C idle, 55-60C under full load, with overdrive turned on (overclocked GPU by 50 MHz, memory by 100 MHz), runs current games very well (45-60 FPS for Skyrim on ultra settings, though not max resolution - 1280X720 looks just fine on my monitor).

This is a great card for discount PC gamers, like myself.

My rig: Athlon II X3, 3.3 GHz, 4 GB DDR3 RAM.

Cons: Didn't have the money for a slightly better card.

Other Thoughts: I actually bought this exact same version of the 5770 - now deactivated - but since the cards are in all perceivable ways identical to each other, I feel qualified to write a review for this one

3 out of 5 eggsNo Customer Service Here

Pros: No problem with the card, works well. Had it tested on a friends computer.

Cons: Newegg Service. DO NOT REMOVE YOUR UPC LABEL FROM YOUR BOX UNTIL YOU ARE 100% CERTAIN. I wanted to make sure I got my rebate in on time so I sent it in, then installed my card. Bad time to figure out that even tho the system requirements only ask for a Pci-e x16 slot, it needs to be a pci-e x16 2.0 or better! It fit in the system and powered up... But my mobo won't boot up with it. No UPC, no return.

Other Thoughts: Newegg has been less than helpful. They won't do a dang thing. Sapphire techs advise me they no longer make the older 2.0 cards so they can't exchange and they don't do refunds... no help. The best advice I have gotten was buy a new mobo or sell it on Eb*y.... So I am....
Merry Christmas to me... >:(

Pros: PERFORMANCE FOR PRICE... rock solid blue light lol...

Cons: just a tad bit loud but not enough to take a egg away from the rating...

Other Thoughts: had this card for about 6 months now and still runnin strong... overclocks to 960 core an 1440 memory clock no problem while never goin above 58 degrees and can run any game as long as you wanna play at those settings...seeing framerates at 70fps medal of honor and 130 on half life two episode two without crossfire...

5 out of 5 eggsbetter than my 9800gt

Pros: Installed easily, runs very cool (about 40 degrees less than the 9800gt), and it is nearly silent, so I am not sure why people are complaining. Ran the Battlefield Beta with no stuttering, an it looked beautiful. The Vapor-X design is just what I was looking for. Those old 9800 GT's ran so freaking hot. The 6770's performance may be a tad weaker, but it was an upgrade I am completely satisfied with: a modern, efficient, and stable card.

Cons: It is a little over priced in my opinion.
