5 out of 5 eggsSapphire delivered.

Pros: Coming up on 2 years in November. This video card continues to deliver excellent FPS in all modern games. I play DayZ, TF2, BF3, Skyrim, and all of these can run at max settings. This is impressive for a 20 month old card. It holds its own and Sapphire will get more sales out of me as they deliver on specifications and reliability. GJ Sapphire.

Cons: The included game required Microsoft Live. As I did not accept the terms and conditions for that game, and am unwilling to install Microsoft Live, I was never able to play. Not a big deal, I did not buy the card for the game. My suggestions would be that they should just offer a steam credit/card. That would be the ultimate game related value add. This way I can choose a game that has acceptable terms and technology such that I can play.

Other Thoughts: I trust Sapphire because of this purchase. Also, I service desktops for a living and see many cards, and can confirm this is a good product.

1 out of 5 eggsGood when working

Pros: They work well when they work.

Cons: I've gotten multiple blue screens, freezes, game crashes, and other problems with these cards. They don't allow DirectDraw, which doesn't let me play games like the original Halo. With two of these connected via Crossfire, I actually get some choppy framerates on some of the videos in Sonic Generations.

Furmark gives an average of 87fps, which is acceptable. Unigine's Heaven DX11 benchmark with levels all the way up (not in 3D) gives between 24 and 32fps when close to objects (between buildings, inside the ship, etc.). That's embarrassing for two graphics cards.

They can't duplicate my screens with most games I play (if I play Portal, Bioshock, etc. on one screen, and set it up to show on my HDTV, it won't display past the first logo screen).

Lastly, Sapphire won't take the fall for building a weak card that is said to have fair to strong stats. I've contacted them about an RMA/upgrade, and I've gotten no help.

Other Thoughts: If this goes on sale on Newegg again, spend a little more money on other cards. Maybe even two 1GB cards. If they're built well, they'll behave better than Sapphire's 6950.

5 out of 5 eggsProbably the best card I've owned

Pros: Extremely fast and stays very cool. I prefer AMD's cards now based on reliability and software/customizability.
Able to overclock and set fan speeds in standard catalyst driver suite.
Destroys everything I throw at it on max settings and refuses to give up.
Has a plethora of outputs.
Dual-bios switch on card allows you to flash card and unlock shaders without bricking the card, I was also fortunate enough to get a reference card, so I just flipped the switch and shaders were auto unlocked.
Silent. Doesn't contribute to any extra noise.
Free Dirt3 and Sapphire Gold Membership inside.

Cons: High power draw is the only con I can even reach for. However, if you buy this you should already know that and plan accordingly. Had to buy a bigger PSU for Crossfire support and well worth it.

Other Thoughts: Easy to disassemble as well. I've taken it apart to clean the dust out and surprisingly, there aren't any surprises when breaking it down. Easily cleaned and made pretty again. Changed the thermal grease to Arctic MX-4 while I was at it, which dropped my temps about 2-3C. I have no issues with this card whatsoever.

1 out of 5 eggsSapphire junk video cards- poor value - support

Pros: Worked good while it worked...just so dang unreliable.

Cons: Display just stopped working after 10 months. Unreliable. Game freeze....

Other Thoughts: Wish i had not gambled on sapphire again, that is two different cards in a row they have burned me on. Why cannot Sapphire build quality anymore?

5 out of 5 eggsSapphire 6950, the good edition

Pros: It runs cool, it is quiet, it powers through most games at the standard 1920-1080p resolution at max. It seems that this version... was the best... the current sapphire 6950 being sold, this one is not active, is worse than this one. So many can unlock this card, while it is rare, if at all, with the newer version. This card also comes with more accessories... go figure.

Cons: My card came with a wobbly cooling fin, it rattled when fans were set EXACTLY at 71%, not 70 not 72 but 71%. Removed it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Love this card, bought a second for crossfire, runs perfect with my 850w corsair PS, runs every game out on max at stock clocks, dirt3 was surprisingly fun, no stuttering issues so far have played BF3 and SWTOR and SC2 smooth as butter with newest official driver release.

Cons: MSI says temps aren't too hot but my room gets super hot when both on, my cards bios switch didn't unlock shaders right out of the box, haven't tried to unlock them since because in CF they run everything max, no need

Other Thoughts: Went from gtx 570 single to these CF both companies have driver issues equally. I only buy the card that gives me the most bang for my buck, this card has not disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing card

Pros: Got it about 6-7 months ago and have them on crossfire. BF3 runs with crossfire on ultra at 1080p at 80-130 fps and on single card from 50-80 fps. Love it!
Skyrim used to get laggy but with AMD's updates the game now runs more stable at 60 fps on crossfire.

Cons: N/A

5 out of 5 eggsFast & Beautiful

Pros: Runs smooth, stays cool, and is a wonderful card for the price!

BF2 MW: all High
HoN: Everything Maxed
EvE: Everything Maxed
SC II: All Maxed
Portal 2: All Maxed

Cons: Noisy fan when speed is put past 60%; fan noise really never bothers me though.

Other Thoughts: I know this comes with a switch to OC, but I really see no reason to lessen the life of the card for a nice OC speed; it runs all the games I have played on max settings out of the box with no tweaks.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy.

Pros: Struts it's stuff.

Cons: Costs monies.
Is greedy with it's shaders :(

Other Thoughts: Runs all my games wonderfully. Only time it hiccups is with Super Sampled AA >4x.

Shaders. Well... seems certain SKUs have more of a chance at unlocking, but still boils down to luck of the draw. Some are soft-locked and some are hard-locked. Mine was hard-locked. Not really concerned tho, as the extra performance gain would have only yielded a few frames extra *shrug*. Unless it's 10+, just not worth it IMHO.

I really enjoy the BIOS switch; no worries of fudging up, just flip the switch ;)

Temps are decent. Under full stress it stays under 68c. Average gaming temps are around 65c @42-50% fan duty. Fan is loud only at more than 60% duty, which is understandable.

Now that's in my cramped and unmodded A30 in a desk cubby. I vented the side window and now temps are substantially better. If I put the PC out in the open, so to speak, we're only dealing <63c under stress. That's <58c while gaming. Not bad.

I'm Happy with it.
