2 out of 5 eggsWell, it could be worse...

Pros: It is a pretty decent card for the PCI slot...

Cons: It is a very poor performer for most gaming, which is what it was designed for. It's also very expensive. The average consumer would be better off going without a video card, saving their money, and purchasing a whole new setup rather than this card, and the money they saved on this product would be a large chunk of the new purchase.

Other Thoughts: If you absolutely MUST have a PCI vid card, buy this one. That is the situation I was in. However, if you can wait a few months, save some money, and buy a MoBo with a PCI-e (or even AGP) vid card slot, your money would be greatly better spent.

3 out of 5 eggsNot Compatible With My System

Pros: Only DirectX 9.x PCI card that I could find that supports 1920x1200 over DVI

Cons: Doesn't work with my set up

Other Thoughts: I have a Shuttle ST20G5. Using an ATI PCIe video card with the onboard ATI integrated video allows both to work in conjuction (to provide triple monitor support). Using a non-ATI video card will disable the onboard video, which was expected when I upgraded from an ATI x800 to an nVidia 8800GT video card. I have tried various PCI video cards with the 8800GT, but have not been successful in returning to my normal triple monitor setup. I think this is more of a problem of my system's compatibility than the video card itself though.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Card

Pros: This is probably the best PCI video card out there. It plays COD4 on low settings. Plays FEAR on all of the highest settings.

Cons: It's PCI, meaning it's dead technology.

Other Thoughts: It's not really worth $90 but if you need something to hold you over until you get a new system, than this would be good.
System: Pentium 4 2.8 ghz, 1.5 gigs of Ram.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: The card was nice from a upgrade from having on board video.

Cons: The card says that the memory clock runs at 400mhz but it actually runs at 270mhzs, so it's actually slower then what I should have got. So I wish New EGG would change it.

Other Thoughts: It was a nice upgrade but if your really want to play games, I would definitely not by this card and save money and get a new motherboard. I should have listened to other people.

5 out of 5 eggsBest performance for old PCI only uprade

Pros: Made it possible to play more demanding 30 fps games with heavy graphics demands. VGA and DVI drive HD simultaneously without a glitch.

Cons: You still have to tone down the settings from screeching high end demands on the video games. (to be expected though).
You need to upgrade to a major power supply. (more money)

Other Thoughts: Consider the 200 or more spent on making this upgrade. If you didn't get a recent DELL sucker punch (NO Express Slot), you will get so much more performance from even a low end newer system with the latest hardware specs.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Excellent card, lets me run CSS on high and BF2 on medium. Very good card for older pci pc's.

Cons: I suspect it came defective, it ran for a few months but then it just started crashing. Maybe my chipset just sucks, maybe it isn't getting enough power(i have a 400w psu, card requires 420) but I am going to exchange it anyways

Other Thoughts: great 1.5 day shipping\\

5 out of 5 eggsA great buy for older PCs

Pros: Allows me to run Half Life 2, CS:S on high and even Bioshock on lower settings.

Cons: Its PCI, and most likely the last of the PCI graphics cards. Great investment if you dont care about more modern games like Crysis and have an older PC.

Other Thoughts: For the love of all thats good upgrade your mobo.
