5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card!

Pros: Excellent performance. Has HDMI output. Don’t notice any fan noise (not over CPU or chassis fan)

Cons: The rear exhaust seems some-what pointless.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic card

Pros: Card comes with two DVI AND an HDMI output. Running Dual monitors and my TV off of it. So far has handled everything that I've thrown at it with flying colors.

Cons: The card came with a Solid Black cage on it, not the translucent red one shown. Was a little bummed by this. I was looking to mod the card with a couple red LEDS on the inside to match my color theme. But the performance more than makes up it.

Other Thoughts: Fantastic to see Diamond still in the game. I was overly pleased with the performance I had out of my VoodooII/III Series cards and Glad I can keep my business in the family.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat deal for performance

Pros: Diamond's disc installer links you up to their website for more current drivers.

The card runs well. I am seeing temps around 50C when loaded. It's quiet. It was also a fantastic deal.

Cons: I don't know if this is to do with the card, ATI, or the monitor I was using. For some reason on my monitor (Samsung Syncmaster BX2331) the driver magically decides to underscan the video output at 1080p. This results in the black bars and blurry text. The fix is to go into the CCC, desktop and displays, configure the display, go to scaling and set the scanning slider over to 0 on the overscan.

The overdrive, however, works for me. I don't know what the other guy has setup but it works without issue.

Other Thoughts: Great deal. Most people will simply go for the bigger-badder 6870, but don't write this one off either. The performance gap is not that big. The low noise and low heat benefits of this card should make it a consideration in the whole equation. I'm very happy with it.

I too didn't know Diamond was back. It's under the Best Data corp umbrella, but it's still nice to see the brand resurrected. It's a reference based board and there's not much here to separate Diamond from other manufacturers....but it was a good price and a good card. It's nice to see the name back. The brand is still good as long as more stuff like this comes out.

5 out of 5 eggsDiamond still around

Pros: Runs cool, compared to 4850, tops out at 75C
Comes with a heatpipe cooler that's fairly quiet
scored 11900 in 3dmark, and gpu score was over 12k

Cons: cooler shroud doesn't seal, so exhaust doesn't work well.
Overdrive doesn't work in catalyst 10.10

Other Thoughts: A nice upgrade for anyone still running a 4xxx series radeon. Better performance, and cooler running as well. The only dx11 games I have are BFBC2 and AvP, and tbh, neither show big improvements in graphics in dx11 mode. But at least the performance is there. But my friend who took my old 4850 to crossfire gets just as much fps, if not more.

I haven't owned a Diamond product since the voodoo2, and didn't even know they were still around. Well they are and, are still making quality products. Even if they do little to separate themselves from the competition.
