5 out of 5 eggsGreat card...

Pros: Great card...

Cons: You must make sure you have proper airflow in your computer case! If not, this video card will overheat very quickly, especially during the summer! I went through 3 RMA's with Asus only to figure out my computer case had poor airflow and was causing this to overheat to about 71 Celcius!

Other Thoughts: After solving my airflow problems by duct-taping the unused vent in my case next to the video card and increasing both case fans to medium speed, I got my video card running at about 59 Celcius, the highest temperature it would reach. After that, I was able to increase the core and memory clock speeds by 50mhz successfully using a program you can download from Guru3D; it only went as high as 67 Celcius after that but was completely stable on everything.

5 out of 5 eggs7900GTX

Pros: Excellent, Excellent in every aspect.

Cons: Notta

Other Thoughts: In response to the dudes review below this one, Have you ever thought about checking your monitors to make sure THOSE are not at fault for not having digital signal? Its happened to many people. Including myself. I would suggest you have the monitors looked at

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible!

Pros: The card worked flawlessly for 2 months - max resolution on F.E.A.R., HL2, and anything else I could throw at it. Looked wonderful on the Viewsonic widescreen monitors. It was paired with a nearly-all ASUS product built computer.

Cons: Two months into ownership, the card no longer showed a digital signal through either monitor port. The card was RMAed. Twice. Asus' tech support couldn't assist someone out of a wet paper bag. The third RMA session, I sent in the motherboard and video card together - Did I mention that I was without a computer for around 2 months? They were STILL unable to fix the problem!! Now instead of the crystal-clear digital signal I used to enjoy, I have to go through some lame SVGA cable with DVI adaptor which seems to work. I will never buy an ASUS product ever again.

Other Thoughts: Don't shop ASUS. Worst. Brand. Ever.

3 out of 5 eggsHmmmm.....a little overpriced?

Pros: This IS a very fast card......

Cons: But check the benchmarks on Tom's Hardware VGA charts. The 8800GTS (the ASUS card retails for $400 here at Newegg) gets much better performance for less dough. Also, the 8800GTS 320MB is out, which gets nearly as good performance (as the 640MB edition) and retails for a mere $300.

Other Thoughts: I confess that I do not own this card itself, but I do own an EVGA 7900GS, and it IS pretty sweet. But I intend to maybe use the stepup program and get and 8800/8600 card soon.

Pros: Great Card, fast. It runs cooler then my old 6800GToc.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: I have an XPS 410 Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4 ghz, 1 gig 667mhz ram and this video card. I've played Half Life 2 Lostr Coast at Max video setttings and max resolution and got it to run at 143 FPS. Plays all other high graphic games just as well.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsJust my 2 cents

Pros: I don't own this card, but have seen what it can do,very nice card, card runs smooth and not buggy, plays most popular game at high setting, recommened.

Cons: None, other than close to being out of Date!

Other Thoughts: Heres where my 2 cent's lay, Take for example a pny VCG88GT SX PB - 8800GTS 640MB GDDR3 HDCP chipset (nividia) 320 bit, 100% customer satisfaction running at 500/1600 and is also retail not OEM.IM not dis-ing anybody for buying This Asus product as it is nice, ButThe PNY is only $299 with a $40 mail in rebate, as for my self Im going to get a high end 8800GTS or wait for next generation which I heard May be coming out Mid summer if I can wait that long,

5 out of 5 eggsThis is the one!

Pros: Great Card. I bought a XXX OC 7900GTX also, this card blows the other away on 3D Mark 05. P5N32 SLI SE Deluxe 4gig XMS2 PC6400.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: At least the other company gave me a T-Shirt. With the technology evolving so quickly too bad these cost so much.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card..

Pros: This card is fast...
And the ASUS smart doctor is a very easy to use overcocking tool+statistics reder. I bough 1 EN7900GTX 2 month ago, and now i just added a second one. Directx 10 cards maybe out, but dual 7900GTXs can easily handle anything out there. I reasently got a 11,023 score on 3dmark 06, which is something a single 8800GTX might not live up to. Both my cards are overclocked to 710/1700 with an OCZ 700w PSU, running 55 degrees idle, and 65 degrees full load.

Cons: ASUS has the worst costumer servise ever...Good thing they make good cards..Both cards worked great the first time, but when i had questions about some of the included softwhare, it was hell just to get to an operator.

Other Thoughts: Remeber to get a good quality power supply before buying these cards in sli.
