1 out of 5 eggsStay Away

Pros: none

Cons: Artifacts galore. Runs hot. Tried several different driver versions, to no avail. Gamers stay away from this one.

Other Thoughts: Just over a month, so no RMA. Asus will do nothing. So no more Asus for me.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

Your graphics card should still be covered under manufacturer warranty; for more information about your manufacturer warranty and how to RMA your product, please visit http://livesupport.asus.com/index.html

Best Regards,

5 out of 5 eggsSatisfied

Pros: Video card drives twin 22” monitor at 1680x1050 each, on Linux (Kubuntu Hardy Heron).
Video core temperature at 55C, well within specifications.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Difficult to set up nvidia’s proprietary driver. Recommend downloading driver from nvidia’s web site. Once the driver is working (easier said than done), the NVIDIA X Server Settings utility is very useful.

4 out of 5 eggsNot a terrible choice

Pros: Price to Quality Ratio, Dead Silent, Asus Brand (from what I have dealt with their customer service can get done what you need done).

Cons: External temperature of heatsink can cause overall case temp to jump up. Even with a semi-good cooling system it will run hot. (I consider this a con because it affected my stock cpu's fan/temp, bumping it up a few c's). Potential fire hazard.

Other Thoughts: One thing you have to realize is this card doesn't have a fan built on it, so it dispels heat through the heatsink, which works quite well. I didn't have any overheat BSOD caused from the card seemingly running so hot. If you are using this card to run mid level games or simply to cruise the web, it's an amazing buy, but if you intend on sing it for gaming full time would probably got better to get one with a built in fan. Make sure you don't have any other cables touching it...

5 out of 5 eggsASUS silent video card

Pros: over a year and still working

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I bought a ASUS 7300GT silent card from newegg over a year ago and it still works fine, I did notice the cooling fan in the box was running more so I bought a fan from newegg and pointed it right at the card, the fan still works fine and will be much easyer to change a $5 fan.

5 out of 5 eggsSilent and Deadly!

Pros: Absolutely Loved this card! It is clocked high enough to run all of my games at a middle to high settings. Stays completely quiet all the time because there are no fans. My case is a little hot so it stays at 53 degrees C, but never have seen it go up. ASUS has been one of the most dependable companies i've dealt with!

Cons: Some weird software that comes along with it.
Not an extremely high end card, but it can play anything you throw at it.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a cheap card that never warms up AND can play all your favorite games, you've found it.

5 out of 5 eggsCool card

Pros: Absolutely silent. Produces great display and stable picture.

Cons: Not really a con, but card does get pretty hot, but never caused any defect.Just make sure to have sufficient air flow otherwise it might get affected.

Other Thoughts: Had it since January, kicked it a few times and card hasn't given me any issue. Really glad I got this quiet piece.

3 out of 5 eggsgood while it lasted i guess

Pros: Pretty card, ran good for a year, price was fair at the time of purchase, silent.

Cons: didnt last... dies about 1 month after the short 1-year warranty was up.

Other Thoughts: I'd rather have a noisy graphics card that lasts several years than a silent one that dies so soon. Next one will have a fan. BTW, never OC'd the card, never gamed hard, never ran it hot. Coolermaster Elite case with front and rear 120 mm fans and 120mm fan on power supply. No reason for it to die so soon. =(

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great card for light gaming, it was able to decently handle all the games i tried. This card has been going for almost 6 months and i haven't had any problems with it.

Cons: This card gets really hot (but hasn't caused any problems because of heat.)

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet and Quiet

Pros: The card rescued an eMachines PC that can now perform fast video editing. Did I mention that the PC is quiet? Sure, after an hour or so of converting analog to digital the fans in the box are running faster but, they are still only hitting 1300rpm.

Cons: Like all good graphics cards these also use two slots of space in the case.

Other Thoughts: I am amazed at the performance of these cards. GDDR3, 512meg, easily beat all others for price v. performance.

5 out of 5 eggsNice and Quiet

Pros: Fast, Quiet.

Cons: Takes two slots. Would NOT fit in my Titan 650 cases because of spacing problems with slots in case. Put it into a different case and fits OK.

Other Thoughts: Runs hot but not a problem if you have proper case cooling airflow.
