4 out of 5 eggsCool and Quiet

Pros: Cooling design is effective and (obviously) silent. Displays well and is easy to install, great value vs price

Cons: not 4000 series

Other Thoughts: I'm an ATI loyalist and this is a great card if you just need something cheap and cool that will get the job done

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!!!

Pros: Shows my HD videos very smoothly.
I've always had better results using ATi video cards for HD video in a DVR than nVidia ones.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: The motherboard I bought included nVidia HD video, but it didn't work all that well. Some stuttering, and not enough memory to support two monitors at once at 32bit color.

5 out of 5 eggsAsus EAH3450

Pros: It does its job wonderfully, just needed a low end card for a 5 inch monitor.

Cons: None to list

Other Thoughts: Connected to an 5 inch Intec Gamecube monitor mounted in the front of my LAN party computer.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Nice

Pros: No Fan, Lower Price. Looks as if it will fit in most machines w/o problem DVI-I comes with VGA adapter and is working, Dual VGA monitor possible. Newegg, is just the best, fast shipping.

Cons: None for us so far

Other Thoughts: Used in a Lenovo Tower for dual monitor. Every PC analysis tool (PC-Doctor, etc.) reports 512MB. This came in non shrink wrapped box, did someone slip me 512MB or are all my system tools in error? Went right to ATI website and installed the ATI drivers, did not use ASUS CD at all. Some report problems with sound, and it is true, but curable here. The drivers add a sound device that is on the video card and your computer may then default to that device. Just go in control panel "Sound and Devices" > "Audio" > "Sound Playback" then reset your default sound device. You will see an "ATI HD" device listed, and it may have switched to that.

2 out of 5 eggsNot that great

Pros: Easy to install, good price, rebate, free shipping, looks good, PCI express2.0.

Cons: Has a ATI chip

Other Thoughts: This is my first ATI video card. Does not seem to have the speed and clarity of the NVIDIA chip cards.

5 out of 5 eggsHappy so far

Pros: Low profile, no fan, component out.

Cons: none that I can think off.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card with specific purpose of putting it into HTPC machine I am putting together. My older HDTV does not have a digital input, so I had to have a card with component out. The card works like a champ with no issues and no noise.

3 out of 5 eggsGood card but not for HDTV

Pros: Silent card with good heatsink that should have been ideal for a Mediacenter PC

Cons: The card would stutter when playing back high motion rate HDTV material (particularly the 1080i NBC broadcasts) which has forced me to remove the card and put in an older louder video card which works but isn't ideal.

Other Thoughts: Silent card good for a mediacenter pc, but don't buy if you are planning on HDTV.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes It's Job

Pros: It does what I expected and no more. Low end card, but hey, that's why it is cheap.

Cons: Wish I was richer.
