5 out of 5 eggsWorks great but runs a little warm

Pros: I've had this fan for about 20 days now. I have an ASUS mobo so figured I'd get an ASUS gfx card. Works just great. Very quiet. Even with my case open can't hear anything. I have a 250w power supply so it's great on power and needs no power connector. Plays Halo Combat Evolved on Max Settings, UT3 on low settings and my older games flawlessly. Not a gaming card and should not be expected to run like one. Does everything I expected it to.

Cons: Runs a little warm to the touch. Hasn't shut off on me because of the heat but I'm not taking any chances. I got a few case fans from the egg on the way.

Other Thoughts: I have a Compaq SR5113WM

1 out of 5 eggsNo sound

Pros: fit slot ok

Cons: My own fault on the performance. I should have checked it out better. It has none

Sound cable does not match any configuration on my motherboard. They had to know that would be the case more often than not so how about some instructions or adaptors on how to make do. Seeing as how I bought this card just for sound to my tv I am extremely disappointed.

Other Thoughts: Buy ati they dont need the sound cable

4 out of 5 eggsgood card

Pros: Great card, works fine

Cons: Installation had to be repeated

Other Thoughts: Make shure that on a low profile case, the vga connector can go because it's impossible to switch side

4 out of 5 eggsGood Card for low profile system

Pros: Works great in windows 7 ultimate (beta version), gets a score of 4.0 in windows experience. Ok for casual gaming, not really a high-end card

Cons: none right now

Pros: Good performance, excellent Linux support, good value, HDMI output

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsSimply Perfect!

Pros: I’ve been looking for a decent affordable video card with HDMI out for months! Literally I installed the card, loaded the software with the CD in the package, rebooted and that was it. I plugged the HDMI cable directly into my TV, turned on the dual-screen option in the nvidia control panel and it worked immediately.

This card is a great solution if you’re looking for HDMI output without a headache.

Cons: None, hardware related. I purchased this item in July and have yet to receive the “no-wait” rebate. Shipping from NJ to VA took 5 days.

Other Thoughts: I’ve tried two ATI cards on my HTPC system with no success. One of them somehow caused my USB to stop working entirely. I tried installing the newest drivers several times, etc… What a waste of time; I'm never purchasing an ATI product again. This is definitely worth the small price premium.

My System Specs:
Gigabyte G31 Series Mobo
C2D 6400
Win XP MCE.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great for a HTPC

Pros: Installed it in my system and Windows 7 detected it fine. Outputs Audio and Video to my TV over HDMI just like it should.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: If you want to play the latest FPS this is not the card for you. Save up your pennies and buy a gaming card.
