5 out of 5 eggsVery Good

Pros: Very High Quality, tools disc includes tool for setting up the card's gpu and memory speeds, stays relatively cool during operation (max of 45 C)

Cons: Not really a con, but when I set the engine and memory bars under graphics speed in the SmartDoctor tool to max the card became unstable and my machine locked up, but this is to be expected when you mess with that sort of thing.

Other Thoughts: Arrived quickly and in perfect condition

4 out of 5 eggsHappy Kid

Pros: Raised my video experience score from 3.1 to 6.7 on a Compaq SR5751. That helped to raise the Experience rating to a whopping 5.1! (It used to Be 3.1) The 5.1 rating is now due to my little Athonx64 2 processor. Since I have a tech net subscription, I put win7 Ultimate 64bit on the box and have never looked back. It rocks! Keep in mind I only paid $200 for this computer because best buy put it on clearance and that what i offered them. Still I'm happy!

Cons: ASUS website it horriblly slow when down loading updated drivers

5 out of 5 eggsDecent card

Pros: Runs cool(38-40c at idle) A lot cooler compare to the 2600XT this card was replacing.

Cons: Had to wait 2weeks to get it! First package (original box) came damage from the NewEgg warehouse.

Other Thoughts: If I get the rebate this card was a great buy :)

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Cheap
Plays all current games, can even play Crysis on high settings (except for 'object detail').

Cons: Considering the price, none.

Other Thoughts: I have this card and 3GB of RAM on my stock Gateway GX7018e.

4 out of 5 eggsHumdinger of a vid card...

Pros: Quiet.
With this and a couple other items, my Dell i546 w/ a Phenom Quad-Core went from a rating of 3.4 to 5.7.
(I added 2GB of RAM, 1TB HDD, and SB X-Fi audio)

Cons: Problem with Catalyst software. I'll get it figured out one of these days...

Other Thoughts: Excellent performance for the money!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little card for Media PC in Living Room!!!

Pros: -Small design
-Crossfire ready
-1 GB
-320 Stream Procs
-Runs Cool
-Fan is quiet

Cons: -Not a powerhouse for Gaming, but push some games very well.

-No other cons because I bought this just to be a Media Center card for the Living Room.

-For those wanting to Game on a budget, it will push some games very well, but don't expect much from Newer Games at high resolutions.

Other Thoughts: I built a Media Center PC just to play AVI, DVD, and Blu-Ray Movies in the Living Room on a 47" LG X-Canvas LCD. The ASUS Mobo I have has Integrated HD 3200 Graphics built-in. It works ok, but the screen clarity is fuzzy and sometimes blurry when trying to read letters.

I bought this 4670 and it pushes the Graphics a lot faster at higher resolutions. The screen is now crystal clear, and the letters are very legible. It also scales better than the 3200 on Big LCDS.

Great upgrade for the price with $20.00 rebate.

2 out of 5 eggsFan too loud

Pros: Raised my Vista score from 30 to 57.

Cons: Fan runs at 100% all the time. I know this is subjective, but the fan is very noisey and I am not a "gamer". Tried ASUS' fan control product and it did not respond. I requested an RMA.

Other Thoughts: Very fast shipping.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

We have found that the fan noise produced by this video card may hover around 26-28 DBs @ 1 meter away while idling (which can be equivalent to a quiet library). So if you feel you are receiving noise levels much more higher than this, then it could be possible that your unit may be defective. If you need assistance with warranty service, please contact us at http://vip.asus.com/eservice/usa_rmaserv.aspx and reference case number 516763 so we can help resolve the issue.

Best Regards,

ASUS Support Team

5 out of 5 eggsGood card, quiet

Pros: Runs quick, quiet. No problems with Windows Vista 64-BIT Ultimate. As pictured, it has Crossfire slot. Just what I was looking for to replace loud Radeon HD 3650 (bad fan).

Cons: On ATX, heatsink, fan occludes adjacent slot. No extras (No DVI-to-VGA adapter). Basic packaging, bigger than necessary.

Other Thoughts: Good value, no problems with fan spinning up on load (in my experience), but I don't OC.
