Pros: n/a

Cons: ordered a single slot card for a reason. whats the point of it being single slot if the heatsink doubles the size?

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing performance

Pros: This graphics card outperformed my highest expectations. I am truly astounded by what this baby put out. I've played TF2, Borderlands, COD:MW2, Mass Effect and GTA IV on this card all on max settings at 1680x1050 resolution on my 22" widescreen LCD monitor with amazing framerates and smooth rendering. I love the lifelike quality of the display. Hovers at around 200 frames/second on the above games with max settings. Comes with drivers and utilities capable of overclocking the GPU and monitoring temperature; I never recommend overclocking as it reduces the life of your system but you could probably squeeze in even better performance if you REALLY needed it. Overall, an amazing card, the price is quite alright for this level of output.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I suggest you go to both ASUS and NVidia's website and download the latest drivers as well as the latest DirectX End-User Runtime before you try to start playing any games.
NOTE: ASUS's utilities have trouble with Windows 7, the best you can do is download the Vista version and run the utilities installer in compatibility mode. You can still kind of get it to work, but I recommend just installing the drivers and leaving the utilities alone.

4 out of 5 eggsNoisy but worth it!

Pros: Very fast! Performs great! For the price you can't beat it!

Cons: The loudest Fan I've ever heard! Forget bios settings fan grease and the rest. The fan has to go!

Other Thoughts: Replace the fan. There are plenty to choose from. The card is worth it even if you do spend $30 on a decent fan. This is what I did.

2 out of 5 eggsWay too loud

Pros: Its a gts 250, so its fairly fast and handles games ok.

Cons: Its incredibly loud. Its the loudest PC component I have ever owned. Its probably the loudest thing in my house that doesn't have a volume knob.

This might be understandable if there weren't so many competing products to choose from, but there are, so do not buy this one.

Other Thoughts: Its so awesomely loud, even after the BIOS upgrades. I can't believe it. Some people might say that is ok, since its a decent card otherwise, but I wouldn't know because I can't hear them over my the screaming fan on my ASUS GTS 250.

3 out of 5 eggsasus GTS250

Pros: even with the large heat sink the card can fit in most PC with little issue

Cons: the fan is loud, i set the fan to 10% and it was still noticeable over my Asus 8800GT

at factory settings it sounds like a small vacuum is stuck in my PC

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Fast card
-Inexpensive
-Easy to install

Cons: -Loud fan
-Hard to get the right resolution to display correctly on my monitor

Other Thoughts: Even though it's loud and has some resolution issues, the latter is easy to solve and the fan is bearable. Great buy.

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect upgrade for the price

Pros: Excellent upgrade for the price, fast, and you can't go wrong with ASUS (did you know ASUS used to be called Pegasus?). Runs modern games great at 1680 x 1050. Get a 1GB card if you are running anything over 1920 x 1080 though. I was floored with the performance, especially since I upgraded from a crusty 7600GS. Great card if you have a 500W power supply (otherwise I would might have gone for a GTX260).

Cons: Yes, the fan is loud. Oh well. It's really not that big of a deal.
