1 out of 5 eggsNo native sound thru HDMI

Pros: None when compared with other brands.

Cons: For sound through HDMI, you have to use a jumper to your MB's SPDIF connector. Video would also freeze or show blocky artifacts if you were not using hardware assistance (but I only used the drivers that came with the install CD).

Other Thoughts: If you have an inexpensive MB, you may not have the required SPDIF header for sound through the HDMI cable. Check your MB first!!!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for the Money

Pros: Cheap, lots of memory improves on texturing. Easy to do a dual monitor setup - just plug an HDMI to DVI adapter in and you have 2 DVI outputs (and they look exactly the same as far as I can tell). Nice airflow and pretty slim - I had a PCI card sandwiched right in between 2 of these with no problem fitting them all in comfortably.

Cons: Couldn't get 3 monitors to work using all 3 outputs. C'est la vie! :)

Other Thoughts: I briefly tried out using 2 of these in SLI mode, since they support it. I could only use 1 monitor when under "full 3D acceleration," which is the only mode in nvidia's utility in which SLI works. The bump in performance was very modest (mostly in stuff like HD effects and filtering). Fun to try out, but it's really more practical just to get a better card.

5 out of 5 eggsA Decent Upgrade

Pros: Good chipset. Runs quite a few modern games quite well including Mafia 2 and a few others.
- Upgraded from integrated ATI 3200HD which freed up RAM as well
- ASUS has built in overclocking features via software although I didn't see much difference when I used it
- Card is silent
- Dual monitors work very well

Cons: - Not a high end Crysis on "High" sort of card but casual gamers would do well for such a small investment.
- Have had 1 instance of the original NVidia drivers crashing under Win 7 64 Ultimate which prompted me to upgrade.

Other Thoughts: The card was easy to install and works well.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card Great Price

Pros: Easy Install runs WOW great and smooth no lagging. Other games too. Love the complimentery software that comes with it too. Gamer OSD and Smart Doctor. Not that I would OC the thing but it nice to have just for fun.

Cons: NONE,,,,,,,, I need another one but can't afford it yet!!! For SLI!!!

Other Thoughts: people need to read the all the agreements b4 they purchase anything, New egg always lays it out for you and doesn't decieve you at all I have been buying from new egg for years and have nvr been dissapointed! Same as for Asus you should always make sure to get photo copys of all rebate info and even get mailing confirmation for the 20$$$ your getting back it's a small price to pay to be sure they recieved it.

2 out of 5 eggsHDMI output won't work, never received rebate.

Pros: Does the bare minimum.

Cons: Bought specifially for HDMI output to my tv. Does not work.

Mailed in rebate and did not receive. Manufacturer claims they never received it. Nothing I can do because I already sent the UPC. RIDICULOUS. Last time I'll buy an Asus product.

1 out of 5 eggsRan good for a while.

Pros: Cheap. So when it breaks you wont be out much money. LOL

When it worked without problems for the first 6 months no problems it play all the games i wanted it to.

Cons: Card went out on me after 7 months. Would randomly freeze on me and would not boot with video. Some times would take me 30 minutes to get it to boot with video. I updated all drivers for vga and chipset. This last time i just took it out and used on board
graphics. Upon taking the card out of my computer i broke one of the fins of the cooling fan. So now i cant get it replaced. Even though the only problem is in the chip its self. Also you have to go though the resaler for warranty asus does not handle this. Sorry asus you can bet my new gtx 465 wont be a asus card.

There MOBO are the best and i heard that there warranty sevice was the best in the business so i took a chance and bought one of the video cards. Mistake.

Other Thoughts: Buy a better card from Evga, XFX, MSI. Asus just entered the vga market and to be honest i am scared to drop $250 on a gtx 465 made by them so it will be a Evga.
