5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Oc'd it to the max! need good airflow to keep it cool
ran final fantasy well on standard settings WHEN OVERCLOCKED!
Good value as i got it $25 off through a rebate that was returned in a normal amount of time.

Cons: Gets hot quickly

Other Thoughts: great budget product if you have the system to support its heat. With no overclocking, can run less graphic intensive games without a flaw.

3 out of 5 eggsAsus so called rebate

Pros: Works as advertised for a cheap card that ended costing more than others of them of equal specs.

Cons: Second time I brought a Asus product and never got rebate never again, Sent it registered and they signed for it and I guess did what they do to the rest of them throw them in the trash can. Don't know why Newegg don't do something about it its almost false advertising.

Other Thoughts: Went on line and found out they got more complaints than Enron had before the went belly up.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth The Price

Pros: Got It, Put It In, Truned it on...son has been playing games he could not play before. Team fortress2, left4 dead ect...very smooth. The Fan is not to loud, fit in the space no problem, Used disk for drivers a big no no but its all working great. Easy install. Good item for the price.

Cons: can't think of any right now..., oh yea! Its not free

Other Thoughts: I added at the same time a new 450 watt power supply and 2gig of ram. Installed it all at once. Been working great! Still new, we will see how long it last.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat product, bad rebate service

Pros: Great card. Plays everything beautifully and doesn't get too hot.

Cons: Got cheated on the rebate from ASUS. They said the UPC was missing when it was STAPLED TO THE REBATE FORM. Will not buy from ASUS again because of this. (and -1 egg)

Other Thoughts: Would have been a great deal if I got the rebate. I'll call it a fairly good deal instead.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor quality and warranty

Pros: Decent performance when working for the price.

Cons: Asus poor warranty and repair service.

Other Thoughts: The card died after 4 months of use and Asus warranty and service department fail to fix the situation after the card was sent in for repair. It seems this is their normal mode of operations. Will not buy an Asus item again.

4 out of 5 eggsNot what its cracked up to be

Pros: Not sure where to start.. It was easy to install and it works, thats about the only pros.

Cons: I am not sure what is up with GeForce lately, but 3 diff geforce cards in 3 diff machine setups, all the same problem... many many "display driver stopped responding and successfully recovered" errors on all the builds. I had to use a 2 year old driver just to get it somewhat tolerable when playing games..

Other Thoughts: In the past I have had nothing but great luck with geforce cards, I will not be buying another one until they get these problems solved, as I have read and its not just my card, almost everyone seems to have these problems. I am using the 256mb ati integrated gfx until I can get a better ati card.

5 out of 5 eggsJFS

Pros: Couldn't be happier with the power to price ratio. Can play all my games on highest settings! Low power consumption so didn't need to replace my PSU. Smaller than my older, slower card (Asus Geforce 6800). Uses a larger fan without being noticeably louder than my old card.

Cons: Nothing against the card, but haven't even bothered trying to get the rebate, due to what other reviewers have said about the service. Starcraft II demo is kind of gimmicky..

Other Thoughts: Great price for something that basically made a 6 year old computer go from PS2 to PS3 quality.

Other Computer Specs
---------------------
3.0 ghz pentium d cpu
3 gigs ddr2 ram
asus mobo
350w psu

*When I first installed this card I thought it wasn't compatible with my older hardware because nothing would turn on. It must have been a static charge though, because I popped out the ram sticks and when I put them back in everything worked fine.
