Pros: It's made to fit a low profile pc. Card stays cool even under a heavy load. Fan isn't as loud as some say.

Cons: The low profile bracket was made upside down. The vga port was stacked above the hdmi and dvi ports, so it wouldn't fit my pc. I needed the vga port stacked below the others. I ended up just taking the brackets completely off (not recommended, card can be bent).
Also the graphics performance was disappointing.

Other Thoughts: I got the ati HD 5570 as an upgrade to my nvidia 9400 gt. When i went to the ati and nvidia sites, the ati 5570 had way better specs in all areas, so i figured it would be a good card. After I put the card in, I started playing my favorite game (Dawn of War: Dark Crusade). Half way through the game my ati hd 5570 was lagging with the graphics on max. My nvidia 9400 gt had no problems at this point. When i got to the most graphic intensive part of the game, my ati hd 5570 was lagging ridiculously. My nvidia 9400 gt hardly would lag at this point. So i tried another game, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. The ati 5570 did max graphics with a little lag. The nvidia 9400 gt played equal or slightly better on same graphics.
So after some testing with some of my other games, i took the ati hd 5570 out, and put my nvidia 9400 gt back into my pc.
The ati hd 5570 is rated better on paper, but my old nvidia 9400 gt beat it on actual performance. I do NOT recommend this card.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Low Profile card

Pros: Very solid graphics performance, easy setup with Windows 7, I didn't have any of the problems other reported. I chose this card based on the small bracket form factor on the back end of the pc, able to output to dual monitors and HDMI connection. Windows 7 Exp score 6.8

Cons: A little noisy, small and large brackets are included if I choose to move this to another pc

Other Thoughts: Haven't had a chance to use the HDMI interface yet

1 out of 5 eggsBad drivers and fan noise

Pros: The card is low profile and fits into a small case

Cons: Installing drivers on Windows 7 64-bit ends abnormally on step 3. Searched the web and other people had the same issue. Found a solution installing using the command line (atisetup.exe -install -output screen).

Installed drivers (released on 8/25/10) and now the entire screen is not being used with HDMI. There is an option to stretch screen to normal size, but after restart it goes back to not using the entire screen.

The fan was lound when purchased, but now is even worse.

Other Thoughts: Has poor 64-bit support and bad fan. Would not recommend to anyone.

1 out of 5 eggsDrivers and Fan

Pros: The card is low profile and fits into a small case

Cons: I have Windows 7 64-bit and drivers cannot be installed using regular setup. On step 3 the installer ends abnormally. Tried XP and Vista compatibility mode, same problem. Searched the web and other people had the same issue. Found a solution installing using the command line (atisetup.exe -install -output screen).

Updated to new drivers released on 8/25/10 and now the entire screen is not being used with HDMI. There is an option to stretch screen to normal size, but after restart it goes back to not using the entire screen.

The fan was lound when purchased, but now is even worse.

Other Thoughts: Has poor 64-bit support and bad fan. Would not recommend to anyone.

4 out of 5 eggsPerforms well

Pros: Great graphics performance considering I was able to play super smash brothers brawl in 720p perfectly with this thing. It's small form factor and short length also makes it suitable for my NES PC project.

Cons: the fan is very loud and there is no adjustment for it.

Other Thoughts: I never had problem installing drivers, probably because I installed them after the system was installed since my test motherboard came with integrated ATI graphics.

2 out of 5 eggsDrives and Performance

Pros: The card is low profile and fits into a small case

Cons: I have Windows 7 64-bit and drivers cannot be installed using regular setup. On step 3 the installer ends abnormally. Tried with XP and Vista compatibility mode, same problem. Searched web and other people had the same issue. Found a solution installing using the command line (atisetup.exe -install -output screen).

Playback of MKV files in Windows Media Center is bad (it was fine with on-board video card).

Other Thoughts: Requires some technical knowledge to install drivers and has poor 64-bit support. May work ok with 32-bit operating systems.

3 out of 5 eggs5570 is a good video processor

Pros: The Radeon 5570 is a great graphics CPU, that's about the only positive on this card for me.

Cons: If you're purchasing this card to put into a small form factor Acer or Gateway PC, don't bother. The adapter for a SFF pc is a single unit and is backwards as to what will fit in the Gateway and Acer SFF pc's.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Asus Customer,

We sincerely apologize that the low profile bracket did not work for your particular application, we would like to request more information so that we may find a suitable solution for you. Please email me directly at aps_support@asus.com your graphics card serial number and the model of the SFF PC you are using.

Best Regards,
Don
