5 out of 5 eggs<3

Pros: Wonderful power for the price.

Cons: A little oversized. Takes up an expansion slot, but that's not really that big of a deal.

Other Thoughts: Wonderful. :)

5 out of 5 eggsVery Impressive Video Card

Pros: I was one of the first to buy this card when it came out. I have been very happy with it so far running my games at the highest resolutions and graphics settings.

Cons: The fan does whirl up to 100% on boot up for about 2 seconds. I'm not going to knock an egg off for that.

Other Thoughts: As you can see the card is pretty large taking up 2 slots. It just fit in my Antec 300.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card!

Pros: High Performance Budget Video Card, Factory Overclocked, $18 Rebate came in just 2 weeks. Idles @ low 30s C

Cons: It's not on sale right now.

Other Thoughts: I got mine for $92.99 with free shipping and after rebate. I'm Waiting for the price to go down again so I can crossfire these beast.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: The card functions like it should. I'm able to play the game I wanted to play (Starcraft 2) on the highest graphics settings without any slow down.
It's got two DVI ports, which is great because I eventually plan on purchasing a second monitor and i'll be able to plug and play without any difficulty.

Cons: Is a little loud, but not enough to bother me or notice it over the sound of my speakers.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Right Decision

Pros: The 4850's price versus its performance makes this card one of the best on the market. The card is lightning fast and I have no problem as a casual gamer with games like Bioshock. The fan and the fans in my rig keep the card 33C at idle and 50C under full load. Not as hot as I thought the card could get.

Cons: The fan is noticeable loud. The wife constantly complains that it sounds like a plane is landing, but I never notice with my headphones on. I did have a few artifacting problems when I first installed the card but I have not seen them in over a month after updating the drivers off the ASUS website. One problem that is persisting is an occasional black screen. The computer screen will blackout for about five seconds and then return to normal. Only once did I have to restart.

Other Thoughts: I was on the fence between the 4850 and the 5770. Finally, the price (on sale + rebate) and performance comparisons made the decision for me.

4 out of 5 eggsWoW Never looked so good!

Pros: Works smooth as silk at stock settings - haven't oc'd it yet to push it.
Able to play all games at full quality with no problems including WoW, L4D2, and RE5.

I'm getting typically 30-60fps in Dal at custom Ultra setting - (for some reason the shadows at ultra setting will really kill the fps so I turned them down and it made a huge difference). Fraps reported 125+fps in the Dalaran Sewers and have even gotten 200+ in Durotar. 7.5 rating on Win 7 ultimate.
at stock settings it idles around 31c and under load around 45c with fan on auto.

I got 2 of these on sale + rebate for a steal (under $200) and I couldn't be happier.

Cons: *OK, so I read what everyone was saying about the fan noise and I didn't hear it until I set the fan to manual. Then it really sounded like an old vacuum cleaner, and not much difference from 40-100%.

However, @ stock/auto fan settings it's no louder than the other fans in my case (120mm x3 +90mm cpu fan). I don't see any need to OC atm so auto is nice and quiet.

*no built-in hdmi (comes with adapter)
[lost an egg for that and the manual fan noise]

Other Thoughts: This is my first video card upgrade since my pair of Sapphire x1650's (yeah, been a while). The boost in performance was simply amazing.

I put one in my wife's rig and one in my own.
I don't see any need to upgrade again for a while (I'm cheap that way).

At first it wouldn't go above 20-30fps in Dalaran and max out at 57-60fps in Northrend. Seems I had the "vertical sync" turned on in the settings. After I turned it off the fps shot up like a rocket (just in case anyone else has this problem)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the money!

Pros: This is a great card for the money... I have had NO PROBLEM with CCC!!! I've update the clock to725 (it comes OC at 670, you can run all day with 700 but watch for temps if you try 725 on stock voltages) with an up in ram speed with no problem, even with manual fan control! Yea, it uses up more RAM but it's not enough on my system

Cons: This isn't with the card but more about the MB... if you plan on CF, get a x8,x8 x16,x4 is a large improvement but not as much as the others

Other Thoughts: With the rebate, I can't complain at all!!!! And NO, IT IS NOT LOUD!!!!!

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I have been playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 for about a week. Maxing out the graphics i run 30-50 FPS. I am pretty sure my i3 cpu is the main limiting factor. runs 40c for internet, and up to 56c during gaming.

Cons: it is so massive, and i can hear the fan...

Other Thoughts: big heatsink, dual monitors are great

4 out of 5 eggsVery Nice Upgrade

Pros: I have owned this card now for about a month and I have to say it is performing very well. I have it OC'ed at 739/2350 and it is performing great, I am not having any heating issues, the fan is quiet. This was a great upgrade from my 8800GTS 320Mb card

Cons: Catalyst Center is junk, it was underclocking my card and running unnecessarily in the back ground, I could not OC the card over 700MHz in CCC. I uninstalled and installed the graphic drivers only, then I used Riva Tuner to push the card to its potential. I had the same problem with CCC in the past, and some things just don't change. The HDMI feature is nice, however the directions of how to view your desktop in full screen is extremely vague and caused me to research for a vast amount of time. Let Windows do its job and keep CCC off your system.
