2 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY ASUS PRODUCTS!

Pros: everything WAS amazing on this card. Performance, size,NEVER got hot worked amazingly (till less than 1 year mark)

Cons: at this point EVERYTHING. No refund, have had 3 new video cards (same model) NONE work. Customer service is TERRIBLE, I will NEVER EVER get ANYTHING from asus. Just there support alone was ridiculous. Took me NUMEROUS calls to them to find out what was going on, and why I haven't received my card yet (happened on all 2 of the new cards) DO NOT BUY ASUS. There now saying the reason its not working with my setup is cuz I need a 750W PSU. Although the 550W was working fine up to a year.

Other Thoughts: Like I said customer service is terrible!! I was on hold for 20,30,40,50min at a time, with no-one telling me to hold or ANYTHING, was hung up on numerous times while being on hold for managers. They wont refund or help my with my issue, they just sit and blame MY system for there HORRIBLE ,shotty workmanship. If you can take ANYTHING out of my review its DO NOT go with asus, I loved them had them for years, and yes this 1 mess-up has turned me from them forever. if I have to call 5times a day to try and find out whats going on, thats too much. None of their departments communicate on whats going, just please GO WITH ANYONE BESIDES ASUS!!!

3 out of 5 eggsWorked Well for a While

Pros: Overclocking scales well, performs wonderfully for the early part of its life.

Cons: At the time of writing, it has been 10 Months since I bought it, and it is starting to fail. Screen blanks out once every ten minutes or so (even when just web browsing), and I'm experiencing increasing horizontal orange/yellow artifact lines also about every ten minutes randomly. I don't think the card will last more than another month or two.

~$150/yr isn't an acceptable price for a graphics card.

Other Thoughts: I don't know whether it's the overall build quality of these cards that's to blame, or if there are just a few bad batches, but it looks like I'm not the only one to experience these kinds of issues with the card.

It was great while it lasted.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!!!

Pros: This is a great overall card for gaming. I have had it for a little over a year now (I always write reviews after 1 year of ownership). So far, there have been no problems whatsoever. This card, although 768MB, is much better than any GTX550ti on the market right now. Very comparable to a GTX560. Don't let anyone tell you that 768MB isn't enough. It's perfectly fine for gaming, and anything more than 1GB for a card equal or less than this is overkill.

Cons: Gets a bit dusty because it blows air back into the case. I clean it with a spray can about once every 6 months. Not even worth taking an egg off, though.

Other Thoughts: Very satisfied. Never gets hot.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Price

Cons: Cards are junk. Bought two to run sli. One failed after 10 days the other failed 4 days later. Thankfully it was within the 30 days.

HOPE YOU NEVER NEED TO RETURN TO ASUS. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Returned both cards to Newegg and bought one EVGA GTX 570 Superclocked. One day I'll get another and run them sli.

Other Thoughts: Asus has the worst customer service. I have had nothing but problems with returns to Asus. Spend the $20.00 extra and buy from XFX, Gigabyte, EVGA. Show Asus and other manufacturers bad customer support hurts sales. Otherwise Asus will never change.

1 out of 5 eggsASUS Warranty - JUNK

Pros: Worked fine for seven months before it failed while under warranty. Reached ASUS support and got RMA with minimal problem and got a returned card within a couple of weeks.

Cons: THE RETURNED CARD WAS AN OLDER GENERATION - NOT WHAT WAS SENT TO THEM.

Other Thoughts: Not sure what will come of this, but, if ASUS doesn't make this right, the user of this card and I will tweet, Facebook, and tell the world in any other way we can think of about this bait and switch. We build a fair number of machines for our own and others' use, and do a lot of support work. This stunt will cost ASUS way more than they saved by returning an ancient card.

1 out of 5 eggsNot built to last.

Pros: Worked great while it lived.

Cons: Died after just 11 months.

Other Thoughts: Has a 3 year warranty. Sent it in for RMA and got back a completely different ATI card that is a generation or two older.

Very unimpressed with ASUS. Try this chipset from a different card manufacturer.

5 out of 5 eggsNo Complaints

Pros: - Runs cool (can EASILY keep it under 50 ° C on any of the games I play) and the fan isn't too noisy
- Offers pretty good performance
- Price is pretty good for the performance you get out of it

Cons: - Could be considered a little big, but I'd say it's expected if you looked at the photo and/or read the size specs. For me, it was a step down, size-wise, from my 9800 GTX+ (freed up three of my SATA ports that were covered by my old card).
- Two PCI-E power pins required. I don't think it's mentioned in the specs, but it is worth being noted. Check your PSU.

Other Thoughts: - No plain old HDMI port (I had a DVI to HDMI cable and I use a little box for recording/audio output). This isn't so much a con, but more of an inconvenience, if that. A DVI/HDMI adapter is supplied, so it's not too much of a worry. Sound worked right out of the box using the supplied adapter which surprised me a little, but I may just be thinking in terms of my old card.
