5 out of 5 eggsGreat video card

Pros: Excellent video card. It's way overkill for my application.

Cons: Tall, barely fit in my HTPC case. (not a con though)

Other Thoughts: I am using a nMedia HTPC case (matches my receiver) and this didn't quite fit, needed to cut the top of the case for the pipes. (worth it, looks mean)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Gaming Video Card

Pros: I reviewed a bunch of different cards and this one stacked up well with the ones that were over $150. This card has been awesome for everything!

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for the price when I bought it

Pros: -I've had this card for over a year. Excellent performance for the price (even though it's odd that the price hasn't dropped at all in a year).
-It runs the games I play most, which are Starcraft 2, BFBC2, and now Skyrim, on the highest settings at (usually) a great clip (~60 FPS, and sometimes much higher)

Cons: -Questionable software. I may never know why my HDD crashed, but I feel like it had something to do with the software like Express Gate. Gave up trying to O.C. and only installed the standard nVidia drivers.
-It's really optimized for 1600x1050; nVidia even said as much. I recently purchased a full 1080p monitor, turned up the resolution, and kept all other settings up. I have certainly noticed a slight dip in frame-rates for the aforementioned games by about 10-20%, especially when things heat up (say, a huge 4v4 battle on SC2, which can drop the FPS to under 30). Then again, I think the higher rez is worth it, and it's still far beyond just playable (usually average of 60 FPS or more)!

Other Thoughts: Other people have talked about the noise. I thought it was loud but realized it was coming from my stock Phenom II cooler. I wish I could replace THAT but can't do to my Mini-ATX case.

Overall, this is an excellent card for the money, and will play any of today's games and a beautiful clip on high settings, so long as you don't need 2550x1440 8xAA 8xAF! I plan on keeping this for another couple years before upgrading to the x60 level (e.g. 660 or 760, etc.). Can't go wrong for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsa lot of power for a low price

Pros: very solidly built, and comes with nice easy to use software
could not be more happy with this product

Cons: slightly larger than i thought, but that's not a problem

Other Thoughts: it is a big card, so make sure you have room in your case

5 out of 5 eggsGTX460's BABY BROTHER

Pros: Runs extremely cool, and quiet.Much Better Than 9 series cards. Runs full screen youtube without a hitch. Got it for
a bit less than a GTX460.

Cons: Not a GTX460.

Other Thoughts: I got this for my first full build. I did not want to get a GTX460 right away due to concerns about heat. However,
I realize I erred on the cautious side. Still, I am definitely
not disappointed with this card, and notice I have the best graphics I ever had, and no problems with drivers!!!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card! Asus dropped the ball

Pros: Great card, I actually bought 2 and run them in SLI mode

Cons: Asus dropped the ball with their mail in rebate, I did everything as told, sent everything in as fast as possible, and I get "denied" because its out of the time frame. Shame on you Asus, shame on you, if your not going to give the rebate then simply do not offer it.

Other Thoughts: Buy for the card, don't count on the rebate!

5 out of 5 eggsBest upgrade yet

Pros: I was amazed at how well this card stays cool, 25c-29c idle. but it does jump temps loads quick when gaming, but nothing over 40c.

fits and looks nice in my z68 extreme gen board.

Cons: non- cards runs smooth, got the latest bf3 nvidia driver for it, runs all games on high with no hitch.
people say its a huge card, i really do not see it, it covers the length of my asrock extreme gen board and its a more narrow board than a normal atx board.
i have a NZXT source elite case and there is plenty of room in it with this card .

Other Thoughts: I really wish that the power plug for this was on the side and not the top of the card, makes it hard to hide the wires on my case, but im not docking an egg becuase of that.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Very good card, has not shown any sings of weekness

Cons: very large card, beware before you buy. I had very little room left from the back of the card to my hard drive bays.
