3 out of 5 eggsIt did what it said.

Pros: It did what it said, it continued to work and pump out some serious graphics. I was able to play Grand Theft Auto V with it (GTAV) and it handled it no problem at all.

It is capable of playing a lot of the more modern titles without any issues at all.

Cons: -It stopped working a day after the warranty expired..

-Horrendous overheating issue even with proper cooling.

-Needs new thermal paste a few months after use.

-Upon replacing thermal paste the heat-sink had damage marks on it from the assembly line.

-Easily bricked upon a firmware update to prevent meltdowns.

-Memory clock is unstable at default and underclocking makes it more stable. (A degree of knowledge is needed to actually make it stable.)

- It is a power hog.

- Finding a water cooling block for it is near impossible.

- Did I mention overheating issue? It idled at 136-142F with proper ventilation.

Other Thoughts: Wait a few months before you buy a graphics card or motherboard online. Never go for the newest model that just comes out. I bought my two GTX 590's upon their release and I ended up regretting it.

Despite the overheating issue being in every GTX590 the ASUS ones I have had have more serious issues that I doubt the company will take the time to look into,

Wait a few months and watch the market before you make any purchases. You will end up saving a lot of money if you do and not stressing about the quality of the parts.

2 out of 5 eggsStay away

Pros: Looks nice in my case. :)

Cons: I thought I was getting a super video card. There are some very buggie issues with this card. Even after installing updated drivers the card fails on games after about 40 minutes. I have built a top notch system with no overclocking and this card has issues running Guild Wars and Skyrim. The graphics at times are not smooth and can be choppy.

Other Thoughts: I built a system 4 years ago and the graphics run smoother on that machine. What a shame. You'd think this card would work well on an Asus Rampage 3 Extreme MB.

5 out of 5 eggsNo regrets

Pros: -Very powerful card
-Can be overclocked, but i recommend getting a water block if you do so.
-Software provided by ASUS is an A+
-Much more silent than it's competitor 6990.
-Did not arrive DOA as many of the 1 star reviews claim.

Cons: -This card does get very hot under load.
-This is a con for your wallet, but make sure you get a decent power supply [1k+]

Other Thoughts: I was very skeptical at first after seeing the reviews on newegg. But my card is working perfectly and i love it!

If you're going to buy this card, it would be pointless to do so if you're only going to play on a 1920x1080 resolution. You're better off with a 580 for that purpose. However if you are interested in running with 2560x1600 or even 1200' that is what this card is intended for as well as triple monitor nvidia surround setups, which is what i bought mine for. Also make sure you have a GOOD case with more than sufficient airflow, more or less one with a side fan blowing directly onto the GPU.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Increadible graphics, it is turly the most powerful DirectX11 card on the market to date. For the power it uses this card is very quiet.
The best 3D gaming I have ever seen and it is much faster than the GTX 580.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have been building computers for more that 15 years and I know that this card can be OC but Seeing that there are no games out that this card can not handle at this time, try to resist from over clocking it, there just no need to void your warranty just yet.
If you buy this card, save your self some grif and just enjoy it.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty much perfect

Pros: - Unbelievable graphics
- No latency on highest video settings on all the games I've played
- Shorter than it's AMD equivalent
- Doesn't increase internal temperature by a large amount(my PC runs about 4 degrees hotter during gameplay)
- has 3 DVI outputs and includes adapters for other types of video inputs
- Runs quiet

Cons: - Price isn't an issue for me but I could see how the price could be a "con" if one is on a budget.
- Takes alot of power to run. For a gaming rig, you need a power supply with at least 1000W

Other Thoughts: I originally built my computer with a Radeon 5970 card. I will never buy another AMD video card again. It was the biggest piece of junk ever and a waste of $750. It never ran smoothly and would crash ALL the time. I finally got mad and bought the 590 GTX and I have not had any problems. Running all my games at ultra high video settings without the slightest bit of lag.

1 out of 5 eggsDont waist your money

Pros: None

Cons: Had the card for less than a week. Downloaded the lastest drivers and bios. After loading the bios the card quit working and went dead. Sent back to ASUS who advised that the card was "TOAST." So if you buy the card Dont download the drivers nor the bios updates. They are sending me a so-called new card. "Re-Certified" which means referbised. so I am getting a card a card that somone else had issues with. So other words do your research go online and read the asus forums and get a different card. Or just by the Card but download any of the features or you will just have an expensive paper weight.

4 out of 5 eggsGood card/Bad Newegg

Pros: Amazing card. Have a small case so I didn't want to go the 2x580 route.

Quiet under load.

Cons: None with the card, just Newegg. Purchased in the afternoon on Thursday, paid the $3 rush order fee for shipping on Friday. The card didn't ship till Monday with overnight and arrived on Tuesday.

3 out of 5 eggsDon't waste your money

Pros: Crisp imagery, high framerates, will play BFBC2 at maxed settings with no lag... but so will the 580. I can't give this more than 3 stars when I compare it to a 580 card, especially for this price.

Cons: Barely noticeable difference over a 580. Don't waste your money on this. Wait for the 600 series.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I upgraded from overclocked GTX 260s in SLI to one of these; it works beautifully on max settings.

Cons: When I first installed it, I had glitches and hard crashes whenever the SLI was enabled, and ASUS told me I should get a replacement. However, after doing the following, it works perfectly:
- Used driver sweeper to clear out the old drivers (used once, booted into safe mode, and used again), with the network cable unplugged to ensure Windows update didn't bring back the wrong one
The card uses so much juice that it was still unstable, even though I have a Cooler Master 750W. What I did was use half of one rail from the power supply for one of the video card's power plugs, and a different rail for the other. In my case, cables numbered 4 and 5 were on one rail and 6 and 7 on another rail, so I used 4 and 7.
