5 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: Great card for what I am using it for. Just needed the widescreen capabilities for a monitor at work. Did that just fine.

Cons: Only one dvi port?

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for Ubuntu

Pros: Bought this for my old Socket 462 system because I was having issues with my ATI card and Linux. Runs flawlessly at the highest graphics settings in Edubuntu.

Cons: None so far...bought it open box.

Other Thoughts: I've had the fans go bad on too many cards, so I love that this one has a heatsink only. Quiet that way, too. ;-)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat budget card

Pros: Great budget card. Put it in my file server to save on energy and noise. Dead silent thanks to no fans. Does not overheat. Runs the Vista Aero interface just fine.

Cons: No cons, this card is not made for gaming obviously.

5 out of 5 eggsGood bang for the buck.

Pros: Picked this up to replace a dead 9250 in my old file server. Has a good max resolution and performs excellent with everything I need to do.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Excellent budget card for a non-gaming system. The passive cooling keeps things nice and quiet.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: Performance wise, its a great card. I replaced my ATI Radeon 9600 with it. the 6200 smokes the ATI all around.

Cons: I mostly use Kubuntu Linux on my computer and it was rather difficult to get working. I had to fine tune the settings specifically for this card in order for it to work under Linux. And under windows, I had driver problems there as well.

Other Thoughts: Once you get around the driver problems, this card is top of its class.

5 out of 5 eggsDigital problem solver

Pros: The DVI digital output solved a problem I had with my Princeton Graphics monitor. The display would flash a yellow tint mostly when it was cold. The new graphics card with the DVI output makes the monitor work perfectly.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsSweet!

Pros: Price, Low Profile, Passive Cooling = Silent.

Cons: None at this price point.

Other Thoughts: Cheap upgrade to onboard video. Supports widescreen resolutions that the onboard UniChrome graphics would not (in this case 1680 x 1050). Purchased this for my wife's computer. She is not a gamer and it suits her needs perfectly. I would not hesitate to recommend this card for basic 2D apps and perhaps some limited gaming.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Seems like one of the best cards in the price range (meager). Beats the pants off of onboard (which couldn't even handle dx9 and kind of forced the upgrade).

Cons: I'm not sure about this but the card seemed to overheat a couple of times before the cooling goop really burned in. Of course, I put it in a Compaq so that could have been attributed to just about any number of other things...

Other Thoughts: Been running it since December and it's great now, whatever the problem was (could also have been a driver issue, n00b mistake). Handles Sims 2 at playable quality & framerate with 512mb ram and a Celeron. Great for a casual gamer, emphasis on casual.

5 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: Card installed easily. Drivers were simple to install. I am doing video work (no gaming) and the card handles my needs quite well. The heatsink stays fairly cool all the time.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I upgraded from another Geforce card that was long in the tooth. This card serves my needs perfectly.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: Good video card for the price. Supported the 1440x900 resolution of a recently purchased widescreen monitor, which is really what we wanted.

Cons: Plays games on lower settings, but don't expect anything spectacular.

Other Thoughts: Nice upgrade for an older system. The silent heatsink is nice.
