1 out of 5 eggsDead as door nail

Pros: It lasted through the 3 year warranty.

Cons: This thing just bit the dust. I never over clocked it or put much of a load on it. This is it for Asus and Me. Between the issues with the pc of junk motherboard I got recalled on and this video card I must say they have lost my brand loyalty

5 out of 5 eggsWas a good buy!

Pros: This card! It was a purchase I made for an upgrade on my old ASUS Rampage Extreme lga775 from twin ASUS HD4870's. The performance is great, the cost wasn't too high. I enjoyed the card so much that when I built my new ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition I bought one of these for it. Gaming with this card in an old rig breaths new life into it and using it in a new build for budget reasons proved to be a smart move and shows once again why I'm an ASUS Fan!

Cons: People who don't realize everything touched by man will have it's issues and should stop acting like children who want instant gratification.

Other Thoughts: I'm looking forward to my next ASUS GPU purchase and eager to move this card into my sons Z87 Sabertooh rig to replace my old HD4870's he's using.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card and Performance

Pros: PCI-E 3.0, Great Fans, Easy To OC, Stable, Good Price-to-Performance

Cons: A tad large (but not giant like a GTI 280X)

Other Thoughts: The ASUS HD7870 is a great card to pick up for those looking for a card that can take on a heavier load with graphically intense games at the 1080-1200p threshold. I am able to run a cool 60 FPS in Guild Wars 2 with everything maxed out (even oversampling), though frame rate greatly suffers with massive PvP events (drops to around 30-35 FPS with 15-20+ players on screen simultaneously). I bought the card for $240 and at that price it was a pretty good buy. The card is harder to find these days, but if you pick it up for under $200 new/like-new it's definitely worth the purchase. Only the obvious 7890 or 7970/7990 can top this before hitting the 8000 series. From the reviews I've read, this card runs Crossfire extremely well, doubling your frame and detail capabilities and then some (probably an increase of 110-115% with 2 cards). Make sure you have a reasonably sized mid-ATX case or you'll be squashed for space with cables since this isn't a tiny or regular sized card like older/less-capable GPUs.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card!

Pros: Built a budget gaming PC for a friend and used this card paired with an fx-6300. Outstanding. Plays battlefield 4 on a mix of high/ultra in 1080p totally smooth, even during levolution events.

500w power supply is plenty for this beast.

Cons: Its BIG! But, I was able to fit it into a mid tower ATX just fine. A card this power cant be expected to be modest in size.

Other Thoughts: Depending on the day, sometimes you can find a R9 270X cheaper. This does not make since to me because the 270X uses the exact same GPU and has faster memeory. Get the 270X if you find it cheaper.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Vid card!

Pros: This video card has taken everything I've thrown at it thus far and effortlessly delivered. Most of my gaming in the past couple weeks has been Saints Row IV on the highest graphics settings, and the frame rate is great. I haven't yet felt the need to overclock, and I don't think I'll need to for a while. All graphics performance has been flawless.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: This card delivers some crazy bang for your buck. It's not cutting edge, but for the casual gamer, you can't go wrong.

3 out of 5 eggsRebate is a giant pain

Pros: The card performs as expected. Zero complaints for the hardware.

Cons: Purchased this card with a $50 rebate during Black Friday. My claim was rejected b/c the ASUS Rebate Center incorrectly scanned my documentation. I emailed the Rebate Center to ask about the rejection and was directed to call. I called 3 times, across 3 different days and each time was on hold for 20 minutes before being automatically disconnected "due to circumstances out of their [our] control". Finally, on a 4th call, I was able to speak to someone and they told me despite it being their mistake, the only option would be to resubmit the documentation through the mail.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: Fast, smooth, runs very cool.No hiccups or the feeling it's struggling. Higher detail, vivid color in games and 2d.
I went through 3 Video cards with NEWEGG. I RMAd them all due to various issues. I don't even like small video card issues ,because I have yet to see a video card "fix" itself.
I am very happy with this card and very happy with NEWEGG's great people

Cons: none yet and none expected!!

Other Thoughts: Again IMHO opinion this out performs some R9 270X 2GB. Not from a synthetic but from " how it works period". I don't overclock cards anymore, I just want stability and performance. Heck I used my old 13.4 drivers and it runs great.
THIS THING IS BUILT LIKE A TANK, IF YOU TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THE BOARD, YOU CAN SEE THE QUALITY.

5 out of 5 eggsWin 8

Pros: Good running card. Would definitely buy again.

Cons: Does not natively support UEFI, and ASUS doesn't plan on releasing a hybrid vBios that supports UEFI any time soon.

4 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Good at games, can always run stuff on ultra like Assassins creed 4 or battlefield 4.

LTC mining clocks at an average of ~350 kH/s when at normal clock, slows on overclock it seems.

working with amd athlon x4 750k
8gb kensington 1600
500w psu (really want a larger psu).

Cons: wish it would mine at ~400 kH/s like it should, but maybe its my rig.
my next focus should be my psu.
