5 out of 5 eggsFast and cheap

Pros: Very fast, only 320mb but it's a very sweet spot for price and speed.

Cons: None so far

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a Champ

Pros: Was on a 6600GT. Playing all HL2 Orange Box at 1650x1050, max on the settings, ..... and WOW. The $xx rebate puts it in the sweet spot.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: No heat or noise issues. I upgraded everything except my HDs. AMDx2 5600, 2g RAM, new case, decent fan, and I am in heaven. I can only imagine how good UT3 will be.

5 out of 5 eggsRockin performance, wierd setup issues

Pros: This accelerator is insanely fast. 2d, HD and multi-desktop experiences are all great pluses in addition to the fast 3D. It is quiet.

Cons: Runs somewhat hot in a standard case; make sure you get adequate airflow going. There is an extremely quirky setup that I had to do with my Samsung 940BW widescreen monitor to prevent the display from scaling the image. After setting up drivers and restarting, the display would always scale it to 1280x1024, even at its native resolution. To fix this, set the resolution and refresh to native, shut down, and swap DVI ports. This is strange behavior and didn't happen with my older GeForce 6 card. Requires a very beefy power supply.

Other Thoughts: Think twice if you have a widescreen monitor and don't want to fiddle with DVI ports, refresh rates and resolutions (not sure how common this issue is though). I don't know how much better this card is than the Geforce7, but it is many times faster than my old 6600. I have no opinions on any DX10 features (no Vista).

5 out of 5 eggsIt's the Ferrarri of carrds

Pros: Every tech comparison agreed: For all out performance the 8800 series is it. nothin else even comes close. It's capabilities are so high that it'll play all the top of the line games made for the next few years, not months like other cards in the past. Beats my dual video card 7600GT setup easily, using less power and less room than 2 cards.

Cons: You will not be able to utilize the full advantages of this card without a bleeding edge processor-think Core2Duo E6600 and above. Don't expect to "drop it in" easily, it's huge. very very long and wide.

Other Thoughts: Perfect time to buy a 8800 series. its still top dog of cards, price is less than half what it was when it came out, and it will still be a great card 2 years from now. the stars are aligned.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful card

Pros: Can play most of my games on full quality such as battlefield 2, Supreme Commander, and Oblivion. Very quiet. Mine came with the heat sink shown in the picture.

Cons: Huge card. I have an Antec P180B case and it fit fine with about 1 inch to spare.

5 out of 5 eggsGreatest Purchase for my PC

Pros: Wow. Upgrading from a 6600GT was definitely the best choice ever. Playing Halo 2 on all max graphics never felt so good. Also, it looks like a Transformers.

Cons: None except for the fact it took all my money away :(

Other Thoughts: Since this video card is pretty much a lot better than my CPU lol, the CPU doesn't "catch up" with the video card, making me lag a bit in games. But it's my CPU not the card. If you're going to get this, make sure you have a GOOD CPU first.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome for the price

Pros: Well coming up from 1st a 7800GTX256 and then SLI 8600GT cards I can say that this card is the best of the 3 setups I've had. I played serious sam II maxed out and on serious difficulty to give this card a lot to work through and it performed flawless so I'm impressed. so soon as i get a better monitor i'll probably go SLI with this card too

Cons: Did not get the Leadtek heatsink cover, but then again, when you look at it when installed, you cant see it anyway, so no big deal. spellforce 2 wont install! oh well

Other Thoughts: A lot on here have mentioned the size of this card..powerful cards need a lot of space, so buck up and get a bigger tower!
