5 out of 5 eggsGood Stuff

Pros: Great card for the money does what it says and a tad bit more. I would recommend this card for anyone that is strapped for cash and if you can buy two of them and SLI them you wont be disappointed.

Cons: Its not a big con but this card has no fan and the temp was to hot for my liking yet the 256 MB card does thats a little weird but I bought a zalman fan for it and that solved my concerns

Other Thoughts: Buy 2 of them for this price you cant go wrong.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I bought this card a long time ago to upgrade from onboard nvidia 6100 video .. let me tell you this thing runs HOT. I have a really nice cooling system, and this thing is still hot enough to burn you even at an idle state. I had issues getting it to even fit in my case, and playing games that aren't that demanding, I barely got any fps. My sytem randomly freezes, especially during games, and was extremely unstable. Tried all kinds of different drivers, and my system is built to more than support this card. Wasn't 100% sure the card was the problem, until today when I upgraded to A PNY GEFORCE 8600GT, which works beautifully, without any of my previous issues, so I am positive it was the card causing my troubles.

Cons: Runs REALLY hot, it's huge, may have driver issues?

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't waste my time with this card .. spend the extra fifty sixty bucks and get yourself a newer 8 series card.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat buy

Pros: this card is great. It was pretty cheap and will serve me well until I upgrade, then it will serve my wife well!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I bought this card just to run the "Dawn Of War" series. WOW! I have everything cranked on it and it runs smooth. intel p4 3ghz, 2gb ram, 550watt epower cheapie( runs good), all put inside my Antec 900.

4 out of 5 eggsNice board.

Pros: Very easy setup. PIN layout, for speaker/lights/powersw etc.. Layed out really well easy to read. Fit in my mid size tower well. Doesn't draw much power, my last mainboard, used so much that, I was unable to plug in all of my devices, because I only have a 400 PSU - I am running 1CDRW, 1 DVD RPW, 2 WD Raptor 10,000 RPM Sata Drives, 8500 GT Video card.

Cons: Floppy connector is at the bottom of the motherboard, which if I was using a floppy drive, would have required me to purchase a larger cable in order to reach the pin layout! The heatsink on the mainboard itself, seem's to be a bit flimzy and is a little large, for some of the larger PCI-E cards, check and make sure your card will clear the heat sink, or you might have issues!

Other Thoughts: Great board, for the price. A+++++++ Will buy gigabyte again, stopped buying Gigabyte boards, after the Socket 7 days - if all of Gigabyte boards are as easy to setup as this, Gigabyte has definately brought me back to there product line!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat value

Pros: Great graphics performance for value and runs fairly cool.

Cons: None... exceeds expectation for price. If you have a cramped case already, be wary of the bulky heat sink.

Other Thoughts: No, I can't play every game on the market at super high quality, but if you tweak the settings on the card and in the games you play, you'll get great graphics and great performance. Plus, the heat sink is great. no fan, means it wont bread in a year! This card is a great value.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good Card

Pros: Great card for the price. I think I payed about $95.00 for the first one 10 months ago. If you want to use the SLI support...buy the cards at the same time. Don't do like I did!

Cons: The card works perfect, But don't buy them at seperate times like I did. I bought this same card about 10 months ago and the new card is updated a little to where when I went to use the SLI support...it was unstable. Lots of flashing black outs.

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing, but hot

Pros: It runs very well for normal computing and fairly well running games. For the price, the card preforms amazingly and with a slight overclock, it will run most newer games at medium to high levels, including Assassin's Creed, NFS Carbon, and the DMC4 demo. DirectX 10 really makes a difference. SLI ready.

Cons: It doesn't like it when you turn on Multisample anti-aliasing. FPS drops dismally low (12-25). Also, I usually have to turn the shadows off to get better graphics and quality. Runs at about 56 C in Window Aero and jumps up to mid to upper 70's with overclocking. That's really hot. Should have had a fan. Also, it takes up a lot of space in the case.

Other Thoughts: I don't have case that is all that well ventilated, but the card seems not to mind. It runs Assassin's Creed at Mid-High graphics and high resolutions without MSAA. The core overclocked at 700MHz and the memory at 475MHz works well. Haven't tried to SLI, but I plan on it. My case only had 1 PCIe slot, so the clunkiness of the card doesn't bother me.
