good price
- Pros: great item at a good price,fast service.
- Cons: i live in new jersey where new egg has a shipping place.our sales tax rate is 7.0%. new egg charged me 8.68%,
Good Stuff
- Pros: Great card for the money does what it says and a tad bit more. I would recommend this card for anyone that is strapped for cash and if you can buy two of them and SLI them you wont be disappointed.
- Cons: Its not a big con but this card has no fan and the temp was to hot for my liking yet the 256 MB card does thats a little weird but I bought a zalman fan for it and that solved my concerns
- Other Thoughts: Buy 2 of them for this price you cant go wrong.
- Pros: I bought this card a long time ago to upgrade from onboard nvidia 6100 video .. let me tell you this thing runs HOT. I have a really nice cooling system, and this thing is still hot enough to burn you even at an idle state. I had issues getting it to even fit in my case, and playing games that aren't that demanding, I barely got any fps. My sytem randomly freezes, especially during games, and was extremely unstable. Tried all kinds of different drivers, and my system is built to more than support this card. Wasn't 100% sure the card was the problem, until today when I upgraded to A PNY GEFORCE 8600GT, which works beautifully, without any of my previous issues, so I am positive it was the card causing my troubles.
- Cons: Runs REALLY hot, it's huge, may have driver issues?
- Other Thoughts: I wouldn't waste my time with this card .. spend the extra fifty sixty bucks and get yourself a newer 8 series card.
