Pros: have a 720P TV your using as a monitor? that my setup and at that rez the 256mb does not hold this card back 8800 performance at 8600 price :)

Cons: i did have a problem with the screen being pink on boot till i changed rez i think it was a dvi to hdmi sync issue but it has disappeared

Other Thoughts: came with a game but ill likely never install it rpg not my thing

Great card - lousy rebate policy

Pros: The card itself is quite good. It stays much cooler than the inferior 7600GT that it replaced. I am able to play WOW at max settings on a 22" monitor, with frame rate drops only when in the crowded cities. The reviewer who could not get it to work with the included game must be doing something wrong, it works fine with NWN2 for me.

Cons: It took more work than is typical to get it working in Windows. Gigabyte typically includes excellent documentation but in this case I found the instructions to be lacking. After initial install I was only able to display 8 colors. I had to do a good bit of uninstalling and reinstalling of the drivers before things worked out.

Other Thoughts: BE CAREFUL ON THE REBATE. It states that the rebate information must be mailed within 20 days of purchase. I waited 21 days before looking at it, which is my $30 mistake. Make no mistake the manufacturers have no desire to make good on these. After all the problems I have had over the years this may be the last time I fall for the rebate trick.

superb card

Pros: superb card.... With gamer hud the freq drops to 450mhz lowering temp to 46 degrees and also power consumption.fan is very silent.have to disable the gamer hud to overclock.i easily reached 760Mhz on core and 950Mhz on memory.waiting for the rebate though.

Cons: It would be nice if some more options were added to the gamer hud.like manually controlling the 2D frequency and voltage than keeping it fixed at 450/756Mhz.

Other Thoughts: Had to buy a new power supply.
