1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Cheap decently powerfull card

Cons: Died after 31 days... 1 day longer then newegg will take it back did a RMA through the manufacture and after almost a month got it back. Worked again for another week then died again. I gave Up and picked up a 5770.

Other Thoughts: The heat sink is great ripped it off and used it on a Nvidia card Its never ran this cool.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Good

Pros: Blue card, pretty copper fins.

Cons: Pixelates in all videos, Hot without games, uses a lot of system RAM, Weak fins bend easily, blue lines in screen intermittently, will not keep resolution settings.

Other Thoughts: Gigabyte has no helpful support. I've contacted many times and they reply with questions which I've answered or comment on a totally irrelevant issue. They speak poor English and do not understand.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Card

Pros: I was looking to buy a card that would allow me to increase my video settings in World of Warcraft. With my onboard video card I had to lower the settings to 'low'. After installing this card I have everything on high, FPS were no lower than 30, sometimes even reaching 40-60. Ultra settings worked fine but my frame rates were in the 20's.
Good budget video card
Quiet fan, PC is no louder with this card installed.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I have had this card for almost a year with no problems. I have been very happy with this card. I use it for video and games. I mostly play World of Warcraft and can hold great frame rates on ICC boss fights, whereas, my boyfriend finds he drops down to about 2 frames on the same fight with his computer. I play with all my graphics on max and run duel 25" monitors.

I added this video card to my HP computer, after upgrading the power supply of course. I was disappointed that the recommended power supply was not listed on New Egg's site and I had to upgrade mine after I received the card. Good thing I actually read through the book that came with the card.

I have really enjoyed this video card the whole time I have had it.

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I use this video card in my custom built pc that I use everyday for 4+ hours at a time. This card runs all my games at 1920x1080 with max or near max settings. I turn the fan up when playing just to be sure, but it idles ~30 Celsius. I use the DVI port going out to my 23" Dell widescreen monitor. Have to say, this setup looks sick. Low power card, means low heat, which with good airflow, is great.

Cons: I wish it was cooler. Hits ~55 Celsius when gaming for hours on end.

Other Thoughts: Wish it came with some free, good cables, but most people have them.

My rig:
AMD Athlon II x4 620
Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P AM3 board
Gigabyte ATI Radeon 4670 1gig GPU
G.Skill ddr3 1600mhz 4gig ripjaws
Corsair 750watt PSU
Sony 24x DVD drive
Azza solano 1000 case
Dell SP2309 monitor

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Bang for the Buck

Pros: Performance is good and the fan on the card is quiet with the setup I have it can play crysis at 30FPS at high settings with very little drops in performance

Cons: don't know if this is actually a con or not, the card had a hard time fitting in my case and it took about an hour to figure out what the problem was finally was able to get it to work.

Other Thoughts: overall this is a great value for the money great performance and it's quiet just make sure the card can fit in your case.

3 out of 5 eggsNot doing that again!

Pros: HDMI sound through TV without SPDIF cable.

Cons: Blew up in 20 minutes of use on 36" 720p Sanyo.

Other Thoughts: Card may well be a fine card but I realized after being refunded that there are much better buys for the same or maybe $5 more. That and the fact that mine blew up in 20 minutes or less mean I will not purchase this card again.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome buy!

Pros: Been using it for dual HDMI output to two 32 inch tvs (DVI/HDMI converter for second output) Works great, especially for the price, runs all my games in full detail, settings on high. Games like Crisis and Assassins Creed 2, this card plays pretty much anything i throw at it. Had it for about six months and still going strong. Amazing deal!

Cons: Didnt actually come with the DVI to VGA adapter as shown in the picture... no biggie.

4 out of 5 eggsHTPC card

Pros: I like the card. I picked it up in September of 2009. It is in my HTPC, which runs 24/7 in an enclosed cabinet.

-The HDMI works well with my home theater receiver and I've never had any handshaking issues.
-It primarily runs ripped BD's, Blu-Ray discs, DVD's, Netflix & Hulu, but it is powerful enough for my kids game on it from time to time.
-The picture quality is outstanding.
-The audio quality is good and will support 7.1 LPCM.
-It sips power and doesn't require a direct power connection to the PSU.
-It's pretty small compared to a lot of GPU's.
-It's reasonable quiet compared to other GPU's.

Cons: -Wish I could bitstream lossless.
-I saw the included zalman fan and thought it would be quieter. It *IS* a quiet card, but I can certainly tell a difference with and without the card.
-Sometimes a game will crash due to an audio error.
-Restarting the computer will sometimes lead to an audio error and I have to replug the HDMI connection. Again - this only happens sometimes. The audio is fine most of the time after a restart.

Other Thoughts: I'm happy with the card overall. I took an egg away because the HDMI audio has issues from time to time. I'm not sure if it's a driver thing or what, but I'd really like to see either Giga or ATI address it. I can only remember one audio driver update in the 1 year I've used it.

It's been pretty durable for me in that enclosed case. It just seems to work. For HTPC work, I'd definitely pick up a 5670 going forward based on my experience so far with the 4670.

The games the card typically sees are Wizard 101, Spores, Harry Potter stuff and all the Lego based games. They all run through HDMI and interface with my receiver and out to a 65" HDTV. I run everything at 1920 x 1080. Games work best when running them in a window. Going full screen will sometimes give me no video.
