3 out of 5 eggsUsed to work great

Pros: When it did work, it was a great card.

Cons: Just after the warranty expired, it bit the dust. System wouldn't even boot. Replaced with a Zotac GT-610 for $10! That card works just as well, if not better.

Other Thoughts: Gigabyte's warranty is not for the date of purchase, but the date of manufacture. When the card died, I thought I had a couple of months left on the warranty to get it replaced. Turns out I didn't.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: This card has taken everything I've thrown at it and spit it out. Even running games with the settings maxed with nVidia 3D Vision turned on. On my other partition, it works excellent with OSX Lion with only some minor plist modification.

Cons: Runs a little warm after long usage, but nothing to complain about and probably has more to do with the airflow in my case.

4 out of 5 eggsBudget Card on Steroids

Pros: At the time was very good bang for buck (1yr ago). Put out 1080p with WoW on med settings with good framerates.

Cons: At the time there were none, but i disagree with the current price. The value edge is now gone. This card should be in the fifty dollar range now.

Other Thoughts: Lets bring the price in line and it would make a decent card for a media center or your kid's pc.

5 out of 5 eggsHappy

Pros: AMD FM1 Dual core
Patriot 4 GB DDR3
MSI A55M-P35 motherboard

(I include my system info because I can't give the video card all of the credit)

I'm not much of a PC gamer so I needed this system only for Star Wars: the Old Republic and my collection of PS-X titles. My last system could handle my gaming needs only as well as I could handle Kim Novak back in her prime...

This system however handles it flawlessly. All my settings are turned to high, even tree detail and shadows. 99% of my gripes with the game are now irrelevant.

I got this card because I figured it would run the game better than my old 512 mb ATI card but had no idea I'd be this happy.

Installs easy, pop in, install drivers and go.

Cons: This is going to sound stupid- for some reason I thought the blue part of this card would be illuminated. I can't take off an egg for that, but it was the only aspect of the card that disappointed me.

I also thought this was a DirectX 11 card but was wrong. Human error I also cannot fault the card for.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful!

Pros: Very easy to install, considering this was my first time putting a machine together myself without much assistance. Snapped right into place, absolutely clean and crisp performance when pushed to the limit in gaming. Haven't had any issues with running dual monitors and multiple programs. I work with art programs as a hobby, this card holds up to that.

Cons: None that are apparent. :)

Other Thoughts: Looking for a good card to start with for good price? This is the card! :D

1 out of 5 eggsPoor User Manual Cost My Customer Extra $$$

Pros: None yet. Waiting on a PWM cable before I can fire up. If there
are PROS I'll update this post later.

Cons: I bought one of these cards last year because of the attractive price. I decided to use it for an upgrade. Since the manual states "remember to connect the power cable to your graphics card" and, requires a 480 watt power supply, I zapped my customer for the cost of a 700 watt OCZ Mod-xtreme Pro power supply upgrade. OUCH! X2. Once for my customer and second for me after I tell him the new power supply wasn't required.

Other Thoughts: I NEVER take the components out of the static bag until I am
ready to install. I got cross eyed trying to find the power
connector! I certainly appreciate all the other posts from other users that experienced the same problem.

4 out of 5 eggsLooses Icon Positions in Win 7 64-bit

Pros: Great card for the money except for one apparent fault - see cons.

Cons: I have 2 of these cards on ASUS (i5-2400 on P8P67 LE & i7-860 on P7P55D-E) motherboards. Both tend to frequently loose track of where the Desktop icons should be when re-starting or on next cold boot-up with Windows 7 64-Bit. Icons frequently get shifted to alphabetical order, using latest drivers from Nvidia too. I don't have this problem with Windows 7 64-Bit on a Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6 MB with an EVGA 8600 GTS video card with a E8500 CPU. Sure agravating to have to reorganize my 60+ icons upon boot-up or re-start, but once icons are set back up, the cards work great.

5 out of 5 eggsBuy This One First

Pros: plug and play, fan speed is low and fairly quiet, my windows score went 3.5 (lowest was video) to 4.0 (P4-ht)and 5.9 and 5.7 for video. Pictures are outstanding.

Cons: maybe later, 7 loaded the nvidea drivers but had to use the cd to identify board.

Other Thoughts: this is my 3rd video card, the other guy was right, don't screw around with the cheaper cards, on windows 7 this card made a Big diff.
