1 out of 5 eggsNot Low Profile

Pros: N/A

Cons: Form factor not as advertised. It is advertised as a low profile card, but if you look carefully at the pictures (as I should have before purchasing), you will see that the connector for the VGA port on the card side comes out of the top of the card. It does ship with a low profile bracket, but even with the low profile bracket, the VGA connector on the card side sticks out beyond the low profile allowable limits and as such will not fit in any of our low profile systems (typically and Dell OptiPlex machines).

Other Thoughts: I am sure the card works fine as a regular height card (in an ATX case, for example). But we are unable to use it with any of our 600+ desktop computers.

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid- Get PNY

Pros: None.

Cons: Excited to find a low profile card with dual HDMI; but: Wide screen monitor stretches images from this card. Not to mention when you put the low profile bracket on, the VGA connectors stick out beyond the height of the bracket, very poor thought/design. Will request an RMA as soon as I'm done writing this review. Went to the local Best Buy and Picked up a PNY, no annoying stretch on my Samsung 20" LED monitor. It displays correctly if you are willing to go non widescreen mode, and live with the two black bands on either side of the image...

1 out of 5 eggsavoid at ALL COST!!!

Pros: none!!!

Cons: 6 months after I got this it started to go bad so I sent it back to the maker and they have had it over 5 business days( over a week) and acted like they don't want to replace
this under the warranty, as well as any CSR you get on the phone after a week you have to tell them to send you a new card , DO NOT repair the same DOA card and send it back to me !!!

1 out of 5 eggsfreezes up in one computer and checkerboard and checkerboards in another computer right out of box

Pros: when it worked looked great on my 47"" - but it would only work a few minutes at a time!!!

Cons: worked with card on a real nice computer system and just updating video card to work with hd tv. It would would on and off....also this is with windows 7 and all updates - it just starts checker boarding/pixeling on different programs and then almost the whole screen and freeze up. sometimes i could just log out and in (but that was a pain) and then more and more it would just checkboard and freeze up - so was able to get my hands on another nice computer today and put it in..... it doesn't freeze up but definitively checkerboards all over and I check to rma it and that ran out yesterday - That sucks

2 out of 5 eggsHorrible image quality and 2 of 5 bad out of the box

Pros: The concept of 2 HDMI ports

Cons: I purchased 5 at once, excited to about the dual HDMI ports. I made the mistake of not testing them all when I got them. The first worked fine, the second worked fine, the third had checkeroard artifacts on the Aero desktop, the fourth worked fine, the fifth had checkerboard artifacts like the third.

Horrible text and overscan with Sony Bravia via HDMI

Other Thoughts: All were initially tested and set up on a 46" Sony Bravia. My default system had video fed by onboard X4500HD Intel video via HDMI. The TV recognized the X4500HD connection as a PC connection. Text was tack sharp and the image fit the screen perfectly. Using these Gigabyte HD5450s (the ones that work) the TV does not recognize it as a PC connection, the text is horrible and there are overscan problems. I have tried every driver under the sun and no joy. Video playback is fine so if you won't plan to use it for anything else you can correct the overscan and hope you don't start seeing checkerboard artifacts in the near future.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked Greatfor 2 months ...then

Pros: I Stated the pros in a previous review.
The Dual HDMI ports are very useful. It's too bad there are no other video cards with this feature!

When it worked it was great. But......

Cons: About a week ago, my screens started getting splotches and blotches. Screens started getting pixelated. PC would freeze and lockup. Fan on card stopped working. Replaced card with another brand new one and it 's already getting pixelated and causing PC lock- ups. I already had requested a RMA from Gigabyte ,for the first one., now I must request a second RMA from Gigabyte. This is real annoying. I had planned to purchase a couple more, but not now.

Other Thoughts: I already had requested a RMA from Gigabyte ,for the first one., now I must request a second RMA from Gigabyte. This is very disappointing, as for the period that they work , they are fantastic, but they seem to have a very short lifespan. The card I used previous to the Gigabyte worked with no problems, I just wanted to get dual HDMI ports.

5 out of 5 eggsThis card works great for me!!!

Pros: The 2 Hdmi ports allows output to LCD Screen and Panasonic 65' Plasma TV simultaneously. Fantastic 1080p picture. Reasonable price. This is the ONLY card I have been able to find with dual HDMI ports, and I had been searching for a year.

Cons: One HDMI port is connected to 24" Acer LCD Monitor, and the other HDMI port is connected to a YamaHA RX-V867 Receiver. Audio is only available from one source at a time (either PC speakers, or Receiver), I think this is a HDMI driver limitation, so not really the cards fault.

Other Thoughts: For me, this was a fantastic buy. Others have complained about lag in picture, but my videos play brilliantly with no problems. Cpu is Amd AMD Athlon II X2 250. I'm so glad I decided to try this card despite the negative reviews here. I'm ordering another one after I finish this review.

2 out of 5 eggsUnder Power

Pros: Two HDMI. Low power.

Cons: Audio only come out from one HDMI. The other HDMI still use on-motherboard audio out.
Under power. Video lag. WEP video score only 3.6.

Other Thoughts: I have two displays, one 22" LCD and one 46" HDTV. Both with speakers and HDMI input. Was hoping this video card (the only one has 2 HDMI) can output to both with audio via HDMI. Only one will receive audio at a time. I had to select the audio playback device every time I need to switch.
Can play 1080p YouTube on HDTV just fine. But video lag and showing color boxes on the LCD display sometimes.

1 out of 5 eggsKeep Looking...

Pros: Quiet, small, low power consumption.

Cons: Underpowered.

Other Thoughts: I bought this hoping it might have enough power to handle the two HDMI outputs built into the card (it should since it has them, right?)... not even close. I'm not a gamer, I just wanted to be able to watch TV/videos on one monitor, while working on the other. Moving a widow around on one makes the video skip on the other (and we're only talking about SD video). I have a quad-core Phenom w/8GB of RAM, so driving two Full-HD monitors should be a breeze, but this little guy just can't cut it. Unfortunately, it's the only card with dual HDMI, so I'm not sure what I'll do now :(
