5 out of 5 eggsGIGABYTE GV-N210SL-1GI

Pros: This video card is a great replacement for my aging Asus (fan type) that was purchased in 2008.

Cons: Sure we could split hairs here - it doesn't have a lot of Cuda Cores or a high Shader Clock - but foget-abat-it.
Not for gamers.

Other Thoughts: It brings new life into an aging computer.

1 out of 5 eggsStay Away

Pros: none
stay away from this card.

Cons: stay away from this card.
I sent my card back to Gigabyte because it locked up my computer when every I watched a movie. I basically wasted $5 bucks in shipping. The card still over heats and no driver on the internet has changed that. I switched back to ATI Im done with Nvidia and Gigabyte.

Other Thoughts: Not a major loss as it was on sale but just upsets me that a company I thought was pretty good makes this junk.

1 out of 5 eggsMedia Center Crashes

Pros: Fits in PCI Express slot without crowding out the PCI-E slot next to it. I put it in to get HDMI out on HTPC and have my tuner in the next slot, so it was a perfect fit.

Cons: I've tried almost every driver release going back in history, and no matter what, I constantly crash in windows media center. If not a complete program crash, often the picture will simply freeze while the audio continues. Furthermore, random driver crashes when doing other tasks, and youtube and many other websites are not even an option - sometimes resulting in wholesale BSOD. As I said, I've tried every driver under the sun, and can't seem to resolve the issue, so now, finally out of warranty I am going to have to find another brand to go with.

5 out of 5 eggsGigabyte Review

Pros: low Cost,
Ease of use,
Cheap shipping 2.99 and got hear fast

Cons: Wasn't free

Other Thoughts: We bought this video card for our customer's HP S5713 computer that let her run 2 monitors from her computer, we installed a new phone phone system for them and she wanted desktop applications and this card certainly did terrific! Her computer only has a 220 power supply and No Problem, the card worked great. To my surprise this card came with both low profile brackets that perfect in her computer ( she only had 2 slots open and needed to run 2 crt monitors). Overall would recommend this card to all our customers that want to run dual monitors for business!

1 out of 5 eggsOverheats

Pros: Cheap, It has an HDMI port
Great quality picture and sound when it works.

Cons: I bought this card back on 3/5/2012, I finally installed it the last week of February of 2013. This card would glitch when I first installed it in a computer with Windows 8 64bit. It would black screen when I had my TV connected via HDMI and say the driver had failed. I did a full reinstall of Windows 8 with the card installed. It updated the drivers automatically and installed a newer version of the Nvidia control panel. It worked great for 3 weeks then began overheating. I pulled the card and went back to my old video card without an HDMI port.

Other Thoughts: I have had great luck with other NVIDIA chipsets and would recommend them. I am using a GIGABYTE mother board here and have recommended them to others. I figured two great companies would make a great video card. I may be wrong.

2 out of 5 eggsProblems

Pros: Price

Cons: Screen would go black for a few seconds and then restart with message that display driver had stopped working and had fully recovered. Happened multiple times daily. Gigabyte service was not very good. Finally asked to request RMA. That has not been good experience.

Other Thoughts: Last purchase from Gigabyte for me.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for HTPC use

Pros: With no fan, it runs silent and surprisingly cool. Works great for getting a 1080 signal to my television.

Cons: I couldn't get audio support over HDMI because of the age/architecture of the motherboard. The GPU worked flawlessly in another computer.

Other Thoughts: I tried turning an old PC into an HTPC, but with no audio over HDMI, I wound up repurposing the computer and putting this GPU in another build. It's a great budget card for light to moderate demand. I wouldn't expect it to handle high framerate games, but it's great for watching SD and HD video.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great in our family PC

Pros: * Price
* Multi-monitor capable, including HDMI
* Good speeds
* Very easy to install
* Silent due to the fanless design
* Excellent for a family PC or an office desktop computer.
* Doesn't require a monster power supply.
* Has been running over a year with zero problems.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: We don't play many games, so demand for a high-end video card for our family just isn't there. The games we do play (Need for Speed, Minecraft, etc.) run very smoothly on this card.

If you're looking for a silent, capable video card, this could be your ticket. Hard-core gamers will need to cough up some more dough to get better speeds, but you already knew that...

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: Easy to install, quiet (fanless) and does the job I intended it to do.

Cons: Not really a con, but just wished the VGA port was in the same backing as the hdmi, it would have saved me the use of the another expansion slot, but no big deal really.

Other Thoughts: Use on N40L microserver and it works flawlessly. The box says it needs a bigger Power supply than the 250Watt I have in the server, but i've had no issues so far. I don't do gaming or other video intensive use, just a server video card.
