  • newegg Ultra Durable VGA Ultra Durable VGA board provides dramatic cooling effect on lowering both GPU and memory temperature by doubling the copper inner layer of PCB, resulting in 5% to 10% lower GPU temperature. Ultra Durable VGA board reduces voltage ripples in normal and transient state, thus effectively lowers noises and achieves 10% to 30% increase in overclocking capability, resulting in overclocking capability by 10% to 30%. Ultra Durable VGA board allows more bandwidth for electron passage and reduces circuit impedance. The less circuit impedance, the more stable flow of current can effectively improve power efficiency, lowering power switching loss by 10% to 30%.

3 out of 5 eggsWell...

Pros: Inexpensive, good for running second monitor

Cons: Cheap. Onboard graphics on processor and system had 6.5 in WEI before the card, and a 5.1 after installation, card gets fairly warm

Other Thoughts: sub- $400 system

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Vid Card for HTPC

Pros: Great fanless card. I used it in my HTPC, where noise is a factor. No problems with install. Drivers are great.

Cons: Since it's fanless, the heatsink is large by necessity. The card prevents the neighboring PCI slot from being utilized. But then I knew that when purchasing, so no big deal.

5 out of 5 eggsDid the job!

Pros: Small, quiet, inexpensive, easy to install. No trouble streaming Netflix now. Was running a GMA 3100 integrated on a Dell Optiplex 755. Netflix would stream, but the frames appeared to be down a little. Streamed on Saturday night with this card, and all is good.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Pushed my Windows 7 Experience Index from a 3.3 up to a 4.3, and pushed my Gaming GFX index up to a 5.6. My PC is a Dell Business/Office machine running an Intel GMA 3100, so the only direction to go was up really.

5 out of 5 eggsnice for the price

Pros: I bought this to go with the Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P MoBo I just replaced in my old Dell frankenmachine . It plays all browser based games (like Runescape) with great ease. With a DVI cable to my 2005 19 inch monitor it greatly improved the quality . I recommended 1 to a fellow game player and he is very impressed with the results (he got his at a local comp. outlet store). we both were lagging badly on the games. This is not a high end Gaming card but works well for those on a budget. It also blows through music video with no glitches.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: This is not a High End Gaming Card and it shows. For moderate usage it is fine. It is by far the most bang for the buck if you are looking to upgrade your video from 512 or lower.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works with KVM switch and Win7 (See Other thoughts)
Does everything a non-gamer needs with all the performance a non-gamer needs. Quiet. Inexpensive.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Bought this because my AMD x700, which has nearly similar performance characteristics , can't deal with Win7's permanently shutting down monitor connections when a monitor connection is lost, as when switching to another PC with a KVM switch. This card has no such issues. This is related to a similar issue with multiple monitors on a single PC. So, if you're looking for a relatively inexpensive solution to such problems, this appears to work. It also seems that not all KVM switches can deal with Win 7's "feature" (this wasn't an issue with XP and Vista), and you'll have to do some research to find products that work. I'm using a ConnectPro UD-14+, which is touted by the Mfg. and Microsoft as having the features to work with Win7, but I could find nothing related to usable video cards, including from ConnectPro. I've had to replace 2 circa 2005mid-range AMD cards to work with the KVM. My advice is to delve into Google if you're planning to move to Win7 (or 8) with a KVM or multiple monitors or upgrading to a KVM or multiple monitors. There are a lot of frustrated people out there who can't understand why they're having problems.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Card

Pros: 1. Well packaged - had rubber covers over the PCIe connection and the video outputs.
2. Quiet - workstation has a SSD in it too and you cannot tell it is on. No noise except for fan on PS when intially turned on and after that is super quiet.
3. No problem with card or video drivers (always download latest drivers when setting these up). Windows 7 did find it and load drivers which replaced with newer drivers from Nvidia website.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Nice card for what I paid (was around $34). Installed this in a Dell Optiplex 960 that is listed as only having a 235 watt powersupply. I also replaced the 80 GB SATA driver with a 90 GB SATA SSD drive. Thing is fast to boot and very responsive when opening applicaitons and looing at moving graphics. Only basic gaming, web, email, etc. so cannot comment on graphic performance.

5 out of 5 eggsHighly Reccommend!!!

Pros: Works with my stock 250 watt power supply.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The card specifications say it needs a minimum of a 300 watt PSU. It works just fine with my stock 250 watt PSU. Have had no problems with performance. My system is low end, used mostly for light gaming and internet. I got this card because my onboard graphics lack the shaders I needed for certain games. I highly recommend this card!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price and exactly what I needed.

Pros: * Installed fast and worked like a charm
* Perfect for running dual monitors
* Better than on board video output
* Low profile fits perfectly above and below cards installed next to it
* Cooling fan is quiet
*HDMI, DVI, and VGA outputs

Cons: I have no problem with this product so far.

Other Thoughts: I am not using the pc the card is installed in for gaming so I cannot give any input towards how it will handle. I am using it for recording audio so the fact that it runs dual monitors and is quite is all I could ask for. For the price if you want good looking video playback and extra video outputs for your pc, this card is great.

5 out of 5 eggsGood basic video card

Pros: Inexpensive. Works great for everyday business applications and for setting up systems with dual monitors. Includes low profile bracket.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've been buying these to set up all of our workstations to handle dual monitors. Went through a couple other brands before I settled on these. I've installed 11 of them so far and have had zero issues with installation or drivers.
