Pros: BOUGHT THIS FOR AN INTEL MOTHERBOARD AND WORKS GREAT. NOT A GAMING PC JUST BASIC APPLICATIONS AND THE GRAPHICS ARE VERY NICE.

Cons: HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR PC WITH BASIC APPLICATIONS AND FILIE SYSTEMS.

5 out of 5 eggsWay Better than Expected

Pros: Very good performance, only requires 1 PCI Express 6-pin connector. Fan is quiet.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I hope this card will continue to work for years. It has been giving me frame rates of about 60-70 FPS on most games I play. I haven't done any video editing with this card yet, but I think it will be decent for video editing.

4 out of 5 eggsMis-Listing DVI-D as DVI

Pros: Core clock 50%, Memory clock 150% faster, Twice the CUDA cores then my old GTS 250.

Half the power needs then the GTS 250.

Cons: Texture draw rate is slower then my old card GTS 250, so in case's where it's mostly Textures and little the newer kinds of graphic production...the FPS will be slower.

Memory bandwidth is half of my old card as well, but it's GDDR5 vs DDR3...this verdict is in the air still as it can go either way. Faster data vs more data.

Other Thoughts: This is a con on Newegg's end, not the cards.

It's 2 DVI-D ports, not DVI. The connection points are different. On the flat end the DVI has a wider flat with 4 posts, the DVI-D just has a thiner flat with no posts.

Just some very needed info for anyone that has the old DVI cables but not the new DVI-D cables.

1 out of 5 eggsDead

Pros: None

Cons: Arrived dead. When I powered on the computer I got a black screen and POST beeps indicated a hardware failure. This was the only new hardware. After putting my old card back in, everything worked fine. Very disappointing considering this card looks pretty nice for the price. This is the first item out of dozens I've gotten from New Egg that was dead.

Other Thoughts: I'm not even sure I'll get all my money back because of the in-game coupons I didn't even want. Apparently they might take the cost of that out of the refund. I didn't even want the coupon (I never activated it), I don't even play those games.

Pretty much every card I looked at comes with some coupon. If New Egg really does take the price of those stupid coupons out of refunds, then I'm very disappointed in them. I never expected such underhanded tactics from a company I've trusted for so many years. I'm considering finding a new online merchant for all my computer parts.

Perhaps there's a way to remove or un-check the coupon upon purchase to avoid this issue? I'll have to check.

4 out of 5 eggsi like it

Pros: runs cool, energy efficient, handles WoT on high at 1680x1050, lots of display ports and they came with plastic covers, even the pcie interface came with a cover

Cons: very difficult to overclock, underutilized

Other Thoughts: with room temperature about 80F and under while gaming, the fan doesn't go past 68%

5 out of 5 eggsEpic Card for an Epic Price

Pros: Runs BF3 on High settings 1080p and never drops below 42fps. My system is:
Core i5-3570k Overclocked to 4.2GHz.
16GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3-1600
750gb HDD
Corsair H60
Case is an Antec 300.
I run Torchlight 2, Left 4 Dead, Counter Strike Source, and Dungeon Defenders maxed without an problems. The card runs at 52C during BF3 online play and 46C on campaign play.

Cons: None whatsoever

Other Thoughts: Would have been nice to see this card with an SLI option but ah well.
