4 out of 5 eggsNice Card for Budget!

Pros: Great card for the mula! I spec'd this for a customer with litle or no gaming in mind. Cooling is near silent with dual dvi. No extra power needed.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it

Pros: Good bang for the buck.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: It isn't the newest or the best, but this card gives good performance for the money. F.E.A.R. is my most demanding game and with this card I can play it at high settings with a good frame rate.

5 out of 5 eggsNice and cheap Dual-DVI

Pros: I needed a card with dual-DVI and not for gaming, and this one fit the bill. I'm not a gamer, but I did need the dual-DVI for my two monitors. Using it with Vista, and although it scores somewhat low in the rating-system (4.4/4.3), it seems to work fine for running Vista.

Cons: The fan is a little louder than I hoped. I wish I would have gone for the fanless one.

3 out of 5 eggsFan problems

Pros: Works great, dual DVI output, but has fan problems.

Cons: The fan has started to make bad noises and I'm worried it is going to fail after less than a year of use.

Other Thoughts: Should have gotten a fanless card.

4 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Good card for the money.

Cons: A little slower than I thought it would be but it's for a work machine so it doesn't matter.

Other Thoughts: 3DMark 05 and 06 scores didn't even hit the 3000's with a 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo and 2GB PC800 DDR2 RAM.

5 out of 5 eggsA Perfect Fit

Pros: A sensible size that fits perfectly in a SFF computer and doesn't occupy 2 slots. Virtually silent, and deadly fast. All necessary cables, drivers, dongles, and a few games as a bonus came with this beauty.

Cons: None so far - with video cards, either they work, or they don't!

Other Thoughts: There's simply no need to buy a card that's outrageously priced. Doing my homework on this purchase saved me money. Thanks newegg!

Pros: I am really impressed.

Cons: it doesnt clean my house

Other Thoughts: This is my first off-mobo independednt video card. I am not a gamer but I popped the racecar game in and it played without a skip, great graphics. Plays DVDs flawlessly

3 out of 5 eggsDecent Performance for Older Games

Pros: The card performs fairly well with older games (e.g., Doom 3, Half-Life 2, etc.) at lower resolutions like 1280x1024, 1024x768 if you don't get too greedy with stuff like AA and AF. Also, if you're careful you can eek out quite a bit of extra clock speed from both the RAM and GPU; I was running it at 480/890 totally stable, though it should be noted that my case is very well ventilated and has 4 120mm fans. It works fine with Vista Aero as well.

Cons: Running any games that are actually new kinda lay the card low. It struggles with Command and Conquer 3 at 1280 with high details, etc. and when you turn on the AA past 2x it really slows down. If you want everything on full blast be prepared to turn the res down.

Other Thoughts: A few final notes: I was running this card with Corsair XMS DDR2 and an overclocked Core 2 Duo e6600, so there were definitely no bottlenecks when I was using it. I bought this as a sort of placeholder card because at the time of my build, I didn't have enough cash for an 8800 series card, now I'm going to sell this to a buddy for $40 (nothing's wrong with the card, I just feel that what retailers are charging is too much for the performance) and I'm going to snap up an 8800GTS from EVGA. All things considered, if you're pressed for cash but need a good card, maybe check out the 8600 models; they're cheap and offer good performance, significantly more so than this card, and support DX10 as well, making it a far superior idea to running two of these in SLI. I guess the bottom line is, if you're sticking to older games and just need something to replace your 9600 Pro or w/e (or run Aero), this'll work. If not, not.

5 out of 5 eggsSLI is awsome

Pros: the best video card i have ever had!! i am running this card in SLI mode. i get so much of an increse in frame rates in SLI. i get a 55% increse in profromance in 3dmark05. i average 45-60 frame rates in sli mode. no over heating problems. very over clockable. BUY IT TRUST ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cons: i have no idea... um it should come with a sli bridge. so basicly none

Other Thoughts: dont use msi drivers only use nvidia if your thinking of SLI and dont use beta they make the cards slower
