Pros: No complaints, did what expected it to.

Cons: After 6 months of ownership, turned PC on one day, and got checkerboard dots all over the boot up screen. Tried in another computer and then same thing. Had to RMA to manufacturer.

Other Thoughts: Be warned... newegg will not return or exhange any product without the original UPC code on the packaging..... Of course I mailed in for the rebate that required you to to cut off the UPC sticker and mail it in. Also make sure when you get your card it has the serieral number sticker on it. I almost could not RMA to MSI because there was no S/N sticker on it. Check this before sending in for your rebate!

Pros: Fast as all get-out. Probably the best single-card solution for Crysis. 8800Ultra clock speeds. Spanks the 7900GTX it replaced. Handled Crysis 1680x1050 at "very high" settings (WinXP using the config mod). In Vista, at "very high" it was not smooth. But that's Vista's fault.

Cons: Once in a while drops to desktop when it overheats. Only with newer high-GPU games on high res/quality settings. A concern for online gamers running high-quality settings. Not much OC headroom.

Other Thoughts: Added a Koolance waterblock to it into my high-end 3/8" watercooling system. Had to add another radiator to handle unreal heat it throws off!! After that, it no longer overheats and drops from games, completely stable in long sessions of COD4 and Crysis.

Pros: Plays all my games at high settings.I don't do benchmarks so i can't give them.I just know it works.I play Bioshock ,UT3,COD4,Oblivion,COH,Hellgate, and City of Heroes/Villains i hate WOW :]

Cons: None yet (not Sli ...Yet)

Other Thoughts: My rig all from Newegg:AMS CF-2229BK mid tower case, ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus 650i nforce,Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 at 3ghz,GEIL 4GBx1GB DDR2 800mhz GX22GB6400UDCA,2-16m 74GB WD Raptors raid 0,320GB WD Cavair for storage,PC Power&Cooling Silencer 750w Quad and, my OS Vista Ultimate 64 bit

Pros: Not a bad card for the price. Factory overclocked.

Cons: Runs hot no doubt. 86c under load with open case. Had to purchase after market heat sink to keep it from locking up after long periods of play.

Other Thoughts: BEWARE! Turned in my rebate over six months ago and still no check. Sent numerous emails and have had absolutely no response whatsoever.

Pros: Great Card has performed as advertised flawlessly. maintains 100 FPS at 1280x1024 in COD4. No artifacts.

Cons: Idles at 65c web surfing ect, 80* plus playing COD4. Increases case temps by 12c +. Fan should exhaust outside the case instead of inside the case. Poor documentation. No fan control.

Other Thoughts: P182 Antec Case. As mentioned earlier the sticker does not align properly HOWEVER, I have trimmed it so it no longers partial blocks ANY openings and there was abosolutely NO temp changes.

Pros: Great card, good price.

Cons: Runs Very Hot! Need after market cooling.

Other Thoughts: I water cool it and have had no problem gaming with it.

Pros: This was the perfect high price/performance card until the GTS hit the market. This one does still win in the high-resolution segment though. It also will be jsut that little bit better in about 2 years when the 8800 series starts to show its age.

Cons: Price. That's really about it. It is the hottest component in my case with the possible exception of the PWM chips on the motherboard. It shoots the hottest air out the back by a decent margin, but it's not overheating or running up the system temp.

Other Thoughts: If I wasn't planning to get a 22 or 24 inch monitor, expand the system in 3 years, and run it for a total around 6 then I would have gotten the GTS. Until you get to the 1600x1200 level they are identical.

Pros: It comes overclocked and I have it up further to 650mhz already with no trouble. I know I can go higher...but I just havn't yet. I voided the warranty on day one by adding a Zalman water block with a zalman researtor xt cooler. The bad news was the price...the good news is 40 degrees idle and 52 degrees peak after 3 hours of high level TF2 gaming. Silent, swift and deadly. I had to buy this instead of the new GTS cuz it was a 3-6 month lag to the new design zalman water blocks to run with them. No regrets, though cheaper would be nice.

Cons: None since I silenced the fans by removing them...takes up two slots in the case.

Other Thoughts: this card will get into the 90C at peak load. The fan is there to help, but count on lots of fans to keep this running right and a big power sully (I wnt with 750) to keep it happy.

Pros: Great card, good buy for a very fast card. SLI ready so when the 9800s come out drop another one in at a cheaper price.

Cons: Very hot. Stickers cover heat vents, don't bother to install this card unless you cut those off. Card ran at about 66C on idle so I used Riva Tuner to up the fan speed to max at all times and now it runs around 50C at idle. Had a problem with the newest driver causing lockups, used MSI driver and it works fine.

Other Thoughts: Definitely cut the stickers away from the vent. The dropped my idle temp about 15C when I did that.

Pros: What is there to say, this thing annihilates every game I play on full settings at 1280x1024. I wasn't sure about the money at first, but this card is amazing. I am so glad I did.

Cons: The sticker on the front overlaps the fan slots. For this kind of money you'd think the sticker guy in the factory could have aligned things correctly.

Other Thoughts: It runs hot, a lot hotter than I'd anticipated. When I manually over-ride the fan speed to max though it does ok. Sounds like it was meant to run hot anyways, so no worries.
