Amazing
- Pros: This card is absolutely supurb. Runs everything i throw at it with full detail and full AA and AF. Cant go wrong with this one.
- Cons: NONE
- Other Thoughts: Does not run as hot as people make it out to. Runs cooler than my old Geforce 6800 GS. First Radeon I have ever had, I i don't think I will be going back to Nvidia anytime soon.
Great Card So Far
- Pros: Fast card. Makes my games, mostly DOD:S, play at great frame rates and with great quality. Also it does not show it in the picture, but the heat sink is the 3-pipe design instead of the initial 2-pipe that was coming out on 2900xt's at release.
- Cons: It's large... Thing is much bigger than I imagined. Runs pretty hot stock, so to overclock I would suggest water cooling. Price... but hey, it's an upper-end graphics card, you have to expect that.
- Other Thoughts: I was on the fence for a long time about buying this card and read quite a few reviews. It's been great so far and I'm really banking on further driver improvements to make this card shine. Also with the huge amount of shader units, I think it will be amazing once DX10 games take off with heavier shading options. Should make for amazing gameplay. It's nice to see the price coming down though currently, hopefully they will continue to drop a bit more.
Great with crossfiring!
- Pros: Great, very very fast crisp picture. WOW
- Cons: possibly the heat, but not a major problem
- Other Thoughts: I bought two of these and crosfire them, never would have beleived the quality for this price without buying them. AMAZING!
