4 out of 5 eggsGood Value - Slow Installation

Pros: Inexpensive video card that significantly improved the performence in the 2 Dell PCs I purchased it for. Went from 4.9 to 5.4 Windows Experience Index on Core2 Duo E7300 CPU running Vista Professional 32 bit. Similar improvement in another slower PC. Like the fact that it doesn't draw much power and fit easily into the video card slot in a mini tower case without any crowding of other cards. Also like the NVIDIA control panel software.

Cons: Driver installation seems to take forever. Had to download newer drivers from NVIDIA on one machine. Otherwise, I would give it 5 eggs.

Other Thoughts: I am not a gamer. I primarily run office applications. My kids do run games on a slower PC at home. So far - so good. I like things I can install and forget.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Bang For The Buck

Pros: Great price, handles new games very well. HD Video plays back great.

I'm able to play BFBC2, Supreme Commander 2, Test Drive Unlimited, all at max settings with max resolution and it has no problems handling it. Don't like buying recertified but I took a chance and have had no problems. Card works flawlessly. Comes with MSI Afterburner for overclocking which makes it a sinch to fine tune the card. Currently running at 601/1502/595 with no artifacts, not a huge increase but it runs stable.

Cons: Would have liked it to clock higher but considering the price i'm happy with the purchase.

Other Thoughts: If you need a card to update your outdated graphics card, but you're not doing super heavy duty gaming, this is a great choice. Brought my Gaming Graphics score up to 6.1, a huge jump from my old 8400GS.

5 out of 5 eggsLittle video card that can!

Pros: A great little card. A 9500GT isn't 'that' weak of a card. Runs quite a few games @ 1080P very well. Quiet!! The fan is loud upon startup, but as soon as the video card drivers gets installed, or until you get into windows, it spins down, and is very quiet. I use it in my media PC.

Cons: (intentionally left blank) xD

Other Thoughts: Again, for me, another problem free MSI product. Keep up the quality guys!! Don't start slipping like others!! :)

4 out of 5 eggsdecent card for the price

Pros: Card delivers as it should, can tolerate most of the popular games of today including; L4D2, DOW2, etc.(as long as you have good RAM). Haven't put it to the Crysis test yet.

Cons: Fan is pretty loud, not sure if its just the one that I got, but its the most audible thing in my room when gaming...

4 out of 5 eggsSmall video card big punch

Pros: Runs wow at 60 fps at high settings and runs cod2 at high settings no problem any newer games modern warfare 1 & 2 about low to mid but not a bad video card for the price after rebate for 25 dollars

Cons: Its been almost 2 months and I havent got my 10 dollar rebate yet

Other Thoughts: I would use this video card in future entry level low budget gaming systems.

1 out of 5 eggsBeware....

Pros: Decent card at this price as long as it isn't damaged from overheating...

Cons: I did not buy this card from NewEgg but unfortunately I know exactly what it is. This appears to be the cards that HP has recalled from the recent MSI-Seaking recall. The cards had a major fan problem in which the cards with the black fan shrouds were failing causing high temps on gpu cores. You can replace fans but that won't fix anything damaged by heat.

Other Thoughts: The blue fan covers are the "revised" design with a fan that has wider blades. Based on the pictures these are still REV 1.1 which is the revision that failed. REV 1.2 corrected the problems. Just be aware that while this looks like a good deal. ITs just HP trying to fix a big boo boo they made in their desktop PC's. 2 out of 5 eggsMSI Recertified GeForce 9500 GT

Pros: Newegg service, product availability, price. Shipping response great, shipping time great.

Cons: Didn't respond as if 'recertified' at all. May have learned my lesson about that route - thought was chance to grab a good deal.
Just trying to replace BFG GeForce 8500 GT - had fan becoming unbearably noisy, and only thing good about MSI 'recertified' card was its quietness! Very welcome - but it froze my AMD 64X2 regularly - restart, never locked up tight. Graphics were broken up, with strange coloring. Images shaky, as if GPU underpowered. 'Recertified' 9500 card much inferior to old 8500.
Now I'm getting RMA ship charge, plus another ship charge for the totally new Zotac 9500 coming. High expectations for it!
BTW, no hot graphics being used, either. Just mostly surfing and email.
Very disappointed - no tolerance for unreliable computer!

Other Thoughts: Now watch me get a spark and fry the new card. Hands are sore from installing and uninstalling so many times. Fingers crossed!
