1 out of 5 eggsBait and Switch

Pros: Got it working... eventually.

Cons: Very slow. This is not a Radeon 4350 but a Radeon Mobility 5430. This is a laptop chip put onto a desktop card and is very weak in terms of graphics power.

I really don't like how MSI was completely dishonest about what they are selling here.

1 out of 5 eggsIt can not work after one year

Pros: Quiet. Low profile.

Cons: Quality. I bought it last year. Until yesterday, everything worked fine. It suddenly display nothing and make my PC halt. After I switched to another VGA, every thing is back.

Other Thoughts: I am contacting MSI for repairing...

3 out of 5 eggsNot bad, but advertised wrong

Pros: Cheap, low power. Good enough for the price.

Cons: It is not Radeon HD 4350, but instead Mobility Radeon HD 5400 series. If you decide to download latest driver from AMD, you have to download mobile driver for Mobility Radeon HD 54xx.
Regular driver from AMD and even driver from MSI's website won't work. They do have modified driver in FAQ page. Which they just modified inf file to change device name to appear "ATI Radeon 4350".

Device ID is PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_68E1.

You can edit name for this device in inf to any name you want to name it. Windows will say driver is unsigned if you edit it. Same with driver from MSI. But that is not a concern since I know what I did and it is safe.

Other Thoughts: Why is MSI advertising this video card as Radeon HD 4350 when it is not??
Took me quiet a while to figure out what was really going on.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Put this in a customers computer for them, paired with a PCI Slot cooling fan, and they do pretty good together. Idles around 40Celsius with the fan below it, and full load never goes above 55Celsius. It does the job, customer can play SkyRim and some other games at pretty decent settings. Super cheap if you're looking for an HDMI card that works and looks great. Should play all your HD content very well.

Cons: Not super high end, but not for me, so I don't care xD

1 out of 5 eggsScam!

Pros: Easy Install

Cons: Mail in rebate is a scam! Submitted the MIR with invoice the day it arrived. Received email with attached scan of submitted invoice 3 weeks later stating MIR was canceled because of missing invoice. (invoice was in the scan THEY sent back to me)

I called to fix the problem, talked to idiot on phone who put me on hold for 30 min and got disconnected!

Other Thoughts: Never By MSI again!

3 out of 5 eggsPITA to install Vista Driver

Pros: Low cost
Quite
Works once driver is installed

Cons: Windows sees the card as 5400 so loads that driver, the website does not have the proper driver. Install from the CD driver folder. Only way to get it to work

Other Thoughts: Works fine, but it is a PITA, spent few hours to get driver running, should have read the other posts

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: cheap

Cons: card drivers wont install whats so ever on both the website and cd. for some reason the card shows up as a radeon hd 5400. its impossible for me to get this card to work properly. horrible card get what you pay for i guess. complete garbage.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent little card

Pros: WAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY better than the onboard xpress 200 graphics i had, and actually has 512mb of onboard, unlike 8400gs for a low ram pc.

good enough for HD but most videos will be limited to 720p.

overclocks great with the monster heatsink, i have a 720 core clock on mine!

Cons: doesn't like some 1080 videos, it falls behind once and a while. playing off of a dvd should be perfect though.

packaging was questionable but no damage so who cares...

Other Thoughts: i have no freaking idea why everyone is complaining about the rebate and the driver cd. i got the rebate after a month and i had the drivers installed in what felt like <5 minutes.

even on my overclock, i struggle to get to 60C while stressing.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks BUT

Pros: much better than any on board graphics.

Cons: only driver that would work was on the CD. none of the new ATI software would not load drivers. gigabyte motherboard with intel graphics. of course my CD would not read in my machine so had to work around it & use another pc to copy the cd to a flash drive. even then the driver install was a bit problematic.

Other Thoughts: been building PC's since 1986 & if i had to do it over again i would not buy this card. Would probably try a geforce. anyhow, it does work now and works good. i'll keep it till it dies.
