5 out of 5 eggsSuper fast!

Pros: Super fast. Makes your computer system look like a boss. Reliable, no problems yet in over 1 year owning. It's Radeon! Fans that come with GPU are reliable and effective in combination with MSI Afterburner

Cons: Need to run MSI afterburner to keep fan settings custom as onboard settings can cause overheating on high graphics games such as Battlefield 3 and Starcraft 2 on ultra. I use 50% idle then increase 5% per 5 degrees as a linear graph. Works well and never goes above 70% fan speed.

Other Thoughts: Price per GB was on par for current cards out at the time for a 1 card solution. I won't complain about the price nor the fan noise as it's expected of this type of card. Nobody has invented super efficient, non-fan cooling solutions for GPUs yet so I'll be more realistic about those things. Side note: since using Afterburner, my computer start up sounds like a jet engine as it boots with fan speed at 100% then adjusts to 50% setting that I have it idle at. People at LANs love it! Wish I had another to make it even louder! Also, be realistic and get a decent sized mid tower or full tower that can house this thing. I use a Corsair 300T and fits fine.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fast.

Cons: Horrifically hot.
Bought two of them and neither of them lasted longer than two years.
Eh.. Atleast MSI is refunding me

Other Thoughts: Was really hoping for this card to work for a Long time, But both of them appear to have died from a MANUFACTURING DEFECT, Both of the second GPU's became "sickly" in Simmliar manner, and then "died" making the card Only function with one core, And if you put any load on the second core, The card would BSoD you

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Amazing card... I have two of them now in Crossfire and it is amazing what they are doing even with my Bulldozer chip bottlenecking them.. They are running BF3 in 5560x1080 RES at over 80FPS!! on ULTRA with 4XAA!

Cons: Loud... Huge... Not really cons though you have to pay to play

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Plays all of my game on ultra very smoothly. Came with Dues ex as a bonus

Cons: Dues ex blue screens my computer. not the cards fault.

Other Thoughts: people say this card is loud which i have not yet experienced. My room stays really cold during the winter though so im sure this helps this problem.

4 out of 5 eggsJust for the record.

Pros: awesome

Cons: nothing

Other Thoughts: I was trolling and had read that AMD/ATI doesn't have a turn on or off crossfire button in CCC. They sure do, please scan further before saying anything.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Powerful card. It's a 6990, don't have to say much else.

Sapphire was sold out, took a chance with MSI, couldn't be happier.

Cons: DRIVER SUPPORT. AMD is slow to release driver updates. Crossfire issues in some games yet.

Other Thoughts: Heat and noise have not been a problem. Immediately put an EK waterblock on in it. O/C'd to 1015/1450 on stock voltage, hits 45 degrees on full load.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful Card

Pros: 1. Very powerful video card plays my games on MAX settings

2. 2 GPU in 1 card no need to enable crossfire tab on CCC

3. MSI Afterburner very good fan control system I have my fans running at 100% to keep my gpu temps down

Cons: 1. Extremely loud

2. Very unstable drivers from AMD

3. If you're new to single card ATI / AMD cards youd probably wonder where the heck the crossfire button is well dont bother there isnt any its automatically enabled when you play games in full screen and disabled when you play windowed mode

4. No way to turn ON or OFF crossfire

Other Thoughts: 1. Catalyst Control Center 11. 11 I downloaded it and I tried to install it last night kept getting Installer Integrity Check Failure problems even with multiple downloads although today I seem to have gotten a good download and managed to install CCC

2. While installing or un installing the video drivers my screen would go black and never come back only solution is to wait a few minutes and assume my installation finishes

3. Had a BSOD 116 probably from the drivers

4. Will be saving up for another MSI 6990 and gonna crossfire it in a month

4 out of 5 eggsMixed

Pros: Phenomenal, Nothing like it

Cons: Noise

Other Thoughts: The card slaughters every other card out there in pure performance. No game out there on any setting stands a chance. The noise is an incredible con. You can not appreciate how truly loud these are until you actually hear them a few feet away while you are playing. I would gladly trade it for a GTX 590 (or 580) so that I can at least have a conversation in the same room when this card is being stressed. If you want to use it for gaming, buy some VERY expensive noise dampening headphones. I would have taken two eggs for the noise, but the pure performance is undeniable. Be warned.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat cards but cooling sucks

Pros: LOTS of power!

Cons: Fans are LOUD!! Not a issue with MSI though, thats just AMD dropping the ball and releasing these beasts with such a bad cooling system.

Other Thoughts: I have two of these running quadfire and the system rocks on eyefinity. Easy to setup and usually its quiet untill you start gaming then you can hear the fans ramp up and they become deafening real fast! Also I ran furmark just to see how hot these thing would get and they got up to around 93* celcius so they were cooking. Also that is on a Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z board with an empty slot between cards so the top card can breath. I dont understand how AMD expect these cards to breath in crossfire when they are right on top of each other. Like I said though, if you can get past the noise then go for it, these cards are so awsome!

Oh and my last gripe is Neweggs pricing bouncing all over the place. $709 one day, $689 the next then when I order the following day at $689 its $709 in the cart because they are changing the price back then today when I wrote the review its $699. Not a big deal as Im glad Newegg is trying to get the best price but wow!
