5 out of 5 eggsHackintosh

Pros: Great little card
under load only gets up to 103f
works in hackintosh

Cons: the little fan is loud. kinda like a ticking noise very annoying. unplugged it but card when to 120 and didnt want it running that warm. but if it gets any worse i will be leaving it unplugged.

Other Thoughts: i bought this for my hackintosh was running 10.6.8 with a gt120 but 10.8.0 wouldnt work with it so needed a cheap replacement and this fit the bill.

hackintosh specs
xeon e5520 @3.25ghz overclocked

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Upgrade For The Price!

Pros: I am not a gamer. I needed a card with a DVI port to accommodate my new Samsung 22" LED monitor. I upgraded from a old CRT. This was the ticket. I'm still getting used to the vividness. CNN never looked so good, as does the rest of the internet. The pictures that I take with a old 5 MP Kodak EasyShare look amazing.

Cons: Experienced the same install crash as the others. I believe this card was ment for higher end computers.

Other Thoughts: Definitely fit my needs.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Its reasonably priced for what it is. Working well in my moms computer. She just surfs and does some non extensive photo editing. I did load Call of Duty W@W on the system with decent results. Not spectacular but it did play alright on low-medium settings. (better than I expected).

Cons: The drivers were a real pain on this particular card, I downloaded the latest drivers and they caused crash. ended up trying 3 different ones till I got one that worked properly. May have been incompatibilities with the other hardware or OS on the computer, but still a pain to correct.=minus one egg.

Other Thoughts: Works for a low end non gaming system. Dont expect a cheap card to perform like an expensive one people!

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for dual monitors

Pros: Cool, quiet, and low power draw. Perfect for our purpose, which is upgrading onboard video to support dual monitors in Dell workstations with minimal power supplies. Capable of playing older games on light settings for *cough* testing purposes *cough* ;) Currently at a great price with no rebate and free shipping. Just put in a request for more with our purchasing people.

Cons: None so far for the intended purpose.

Other Thoughts: You will read several low-rating reviews below that complain about drivers not working out of the box, and even one that claims there are no Win7 64-bit drivers. Sadly, these come from users who rate their tech knowledge at the highest level. Anyone who has basic competence with video card installation knows that you download the latest WHQL drivers from either the NVidia or AMD web site--the CD in the box is only good for whatever extra software may be included, and there's no point going to the manufacturer's site when you can go straight to the source. FYI, I'm writing this note on a system using one of these cards and running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit .

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Easy installation. Great performance for a low price.

Cons: None that I've encountered.

Other Thoughts: I started using a different computer than my home system for gaming. The graphics card on that system could not handle some of the games I played. Bought this as a low cost upgrade and it worked perfectly. Unplayable games are now playable at a decent graphics setting (better than my home system).

The computer's power supply was not up to the listed requirements for this card, however, it still works fine and I have not had any power issues to date.
