Once again NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti GPU pwns the gamer's sweet spot, delivering around 33% faster performance than GeForce GTX 460, overclocking headroom that is off the charts, and an incredible performance per watt. Discover the incredibly detailed world of DirectX 11 with the MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II graphics card. The card employs the next generation of top-grade materials – Military Class II components to provide the highest level of stability. When used with MSI’s Afterburner overclocking software, the N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II supports GPU overvoltage function to fully unleash the overclocking potential. More importantly, the MSI-exclusive Twin Frozr II thermal design utilizes large dual PWM fans, SuperPipe technology and nickel-plated copper base design, efficiently lowering the temperature by 20°C - a significant step up from the reference cooling solution – and ensuring a cool and quiet computing environment.

  • newegg Exclusive Twin Frozr II Thermal Design The MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II graphics card is equipped with the exclusive Twin Frozr II thermal design, which uses a nickel plated copper base to absorb the heat from the GPU. Heat is rapidly transferred to the heat sinks via the SuperPipe technology and is then removed with the airflow produced by dual 8cm PWM fans. Compared with the reference thermal implementation, this design is capable of reducing the core temperature by as much as 20°C, thus providing you with a low-temperature graphics platform.
  • newegg GPU Overvoltage Function with MSI Afterburner MSI Afterburner overclocking software allows you to adjust the fan speed, adjust GPU & memory clocking speeds in real time, and tune the voltage of the GPU to completely unleash its power. A real-time monitoring interface and burn-in stability test give gamers the power to control the card's overclocking status at any time. In addition, Afterburner can store up to five different fan profiles to match any situation.
  • newegg Military Class II Components MSI uses Military Class II components in the N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II graphics card, such as Hi-c CAP, which are of the same class of components used in space shuttles and satellites and offer a lifespan 8 times longer than ordinary solid-state capacitors. Moreover, Super Ferrite Chokes (SFC) are employed to not only improve efficiency by 10%, but also increase the maximum output current by 30%, and when coupled with All-Solid capacitors, the product's overall lifespan can be effectively extended.
  • newegg Microsoft DirectX 11 Support DirectX 11 GPU with Shader Model 5.0 support designed for ultra high performance in the new API’s key graphics feature, GPU-accelerated tessellation.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology enables a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision, 3D Vision Surround and SLI Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. Expand your games across three displays in full stereoscopic 3D for the ultimate “inside the game” experience with the power of NVIDIA 3D Vision and SLI technologies. NVIDIA Surround also supports triple screen gaming with non-stereo displays.

2 out of 5 eggsDecent Card/Driver Constantly Crashes

Pros: Decent card for the price, renders nice, keeps relatively cool.

Cons: The drivers crash constantly. From what I understand it's because the card times out? I've researched this for weeks now and can not find a fix. It crashes every time I play MINECRAFT, and when I watch movies streaming through Plex (not at the same time). It hasn't happened more than a few times while playing games like Skyrim or MP3, but it still happens. What good is a graphics card if I can't play my games without drivers crashing?

Other Thoughts: If anyone has a fix to my drivers problem (I'll post more information here next time it happens), I could really use the help as I do not want to buy a new graphics card.

1 out of 5 eggsCheap fans

Pros: Fast, nice packaging

Cons: Not enough memory, bad fan assembly, bad MSI support

Other Thoughts: Don't fall for the "military class" marketing slogan. Take a look at the fans, they are standard off-the-shelf parts.

One year later, one of the fans on my card is useless, making a lot of noise, especially at low RPM. When attempting to look up potential solutions on the internet I came to find that a lot of others have this kind of a problem with this card.

Sorry MSI, this is really a sub-par quality product. I bought quite a bit of hardware from them before, but this will definitely be my last purchase.

Be aware: Their RMA process is slow (at least two weeks) and requires that you send in the card without a replacement in your hands. That's completely unacceptable for someone who needs their computer.

1 out of 5 eggsSub-par Fans

Pros: Fast, works like any other reference design

Cons: Fan assembly is cheap, "military class" components is just a marketing gag. Take a close look at the fans - they are standard components that retail for less than $5.

The fans started failing after a year, causing a LOT of noise. Looking for a solution online it certainly appears that I am not the only one with this problem.

MSI support wants me to RMA the card, sending mine in before a replacement arrives, which would mean I'd be without a card for 2 weeks or more.

Other Thoughts: This is most certainly the last MSI product I bought. I used to like them, but their customer support and the quality of their products leave a lot to be desired.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat card

Pros: MSI Afterburner is nice.
Quiet when idling.
Card stays cool even while playing new games on full settings.

Cons: Not a 690

Other Thoughts: The fan acts up sometimes but manually turning up the speed and letting it auto idle down makes the noise go away. Recently purchased this card made by evga due to the price drop for sli. Cant wait to run some benchmarks.

4 out of 5 eggsBombtastic once I fixed it....

Pros: Played Just Cause 2 on ultra at around 60 fps running core to around 1000MHz using the Afterburner utility, BF3 on ultra at 40-50 fps. Temps were at 27c idle and 50c max playing BF3

Cons: Clicking sounds within the card at startup. Found out the heatsink wasn't aligned properly and one of the fans was hitting the card itself. Easy fix by loosening the screws and placing a rubber earbud between the card and the heatsink as a shim to move the fan away from the board.

Other Thoughts: would have given this card 5 stars if it wasn't for the badly placed heatsink. Lost use of an earbud

5 out of 5 eggsCool & Quiet Performance

Pros: -Very effective cooler idles at 30c hits 65c under load.
-Quite. In an average case this is inaudible. Spectacular in this regard.
-Enough muscle to play 99% of titles maxed out at 1080p.

Cons: Not much. It's big and you need an adequate power supply for it. Not a con because that's how it does what it does.

Other Thoughts: Nice bundle of extras, good looking, well made. I changed out my friends GPU and PSU in his HP mini tower, even in less than ideal thermal circumstances this card runs cool. Looking forward to putting it through it's paces and writing a follow up review.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: I bought this card to play BF3. Its a slight upgrade from the ati 5570 I had. I am now able to run BF3 maxed out at an average of 60fps. If I turn on anti alias however that essentially drops in half, but to me, its not that much of a graphical improvement so I usually leave it off.

I also got this card with a

Cons: Initially I got the card and it ran hot, 68C+, and I have plenty of cooling in my case. I took the heatsink off and found that there was waaaaaaaaay to much thermal paste - so much that it had even overflowed onto the board in globs. Pretty disapointing for paying $245 for a card that is supposed to run "20C cooler".

So, -1 egg.

Other Thoughts: I cleaned up the thermal paste mess and it ran 2-3C cooler at idle and 6-8C cooler at full load with an overclock. I don't know if I voided the warranty by doing so, but I didn't want to send it back for something so simple.

One other thing I noticed about the card - the fans on mine never go above 40% fan speed. If you are considering using MSI afterburner to OC and want to crank up the fans a bit, they can get pretty loud at 60%+ - just a heads up

2 out of 5 eggscheap fans

Pros: Worked well and stayed cool, when the fans worked.

Cons: I have three of these. On two out of three, one of the two fans stopped working within a few weeks of each other.

Other Thoughts: The 560 heat sink uses a non-standard format for mounting holes. Finding a replacement that doesn't cost almost as much as the card is becoming a chore. I don't want to start a brand war, but I have owned cards from many different manufacturers and this is the first time that any fan has stopped working. I can't call it coincidence that two of them from the same manufacturer died within the same relative time frame, after having so many others never fail with much longer periods of use.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent but Rebate is a joke

Pros: Fast card. Runs cool. Can OC some. Quiet.

Cons: 4myrebate.com - This company is a total scam. I have gotten 3 seperate rebates through Newegg this year and all 3 have been rejected with the reason being they did not receive my documentation. I even have a tracking number for the last one to prove they received the material but they still refuse my rebate. I will never purchase any product with a rebate from Newegg ever again.

Other Thoughts: Newegg should stop selling products with manufacturer rebates. If that's not possible, then they should contact 4myrebate on the behalf of their customers who have lost their money. Check out the reviews all over Newegg. 4myrebate is a total scam and it's demonstrated throughout the comments.
