5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for the Right Specs

Pros: This card was the perfect card for me - I needed something cheap, something that could handle the newest modern games, and something that would last as well as continue to give me the performance I need. As usual MSI has delivered. This card handles everything exceptionally, from MW3 to Crysis Wars to Saints Row the Third, everything with high FPS and exactly what I'd expect from an HD 5670.

Cons: Win 7 x64 drivers need[ed] an update. Does need 26 amps on the 12v rail...kinda a lot for the card, but it doesn't require PCIe power (generally, PCIe power is for the fan; all the amperage is used for the GPU).

Other Thoughts: This was a great card for me, and I would (and am considering) buying another for a friend who would like to buy a cheap card to handle some decent games. When you buy a card, or anything for that matter, make sure your PSU can supply the necessary requirements, or else you face instability. Check here (http://forum-en.msi.com/faq/article/power-requirements-for-graphics-cards) for most graphics card requirements, such as amperage and wattage. Yes, it is universal for ALL listed GPUs and not just MSI cards.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Works great for me, havn't played with overclocking. I don't play a lot of games mainly strategy games.

I play Total War: Shogun 2 on full settings... while it's not as demanding as say Crysis... When two large armies come together it can be stressful on a graphics card... but this card takes it all in stride. Great card for the price.

Cons: Probably not what most higher end gamers are looking for, perfect casual gamer or someone who streams TV online.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst Card Ever Owned

Pros: None

Cons: FPS is a joke, overclock is a joke, and tech support is a nightmare!!!

Other Thoughts: I have 1-3 fps in a WoW raid with the graphics set at fair! I used the overclock and it did go up - to 6-7 fps...woohoo!!! I did a fresh install of the card (unseated, driver sweep, ect.) and still nothing! It wouldn't be so bad if MSI's tech support wasn't such a nightmare to navigate!!!! I do not think I will buy from this manufacturer again after this experience...

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price with one minor flaw

Pros: -Great price
-Plays Every game in 720P on max settings, most can be played in 1080P but without all the AA and super high settings with goof FPS

Cons: This has been kinda really bothering me, but I could just be my card. Whenever there is graphically intense item being displayed like during gaming or a very white screen, it makes this pretty loud buzzing sound!!! I've turned off every fan in my case and it is in fact something within the graphics card. It's liveable cause I don't notice it when I'm in the zone (gaming) but when I do notice it, it's just kinda annoying. I think it's the coiled inductor but I dont wanna open up the card to risk damaging anything.

Other Thoughts: Great card for a budget build! Would recommend to anyone who wants to save some money.

1 out of 5 eggsa video card without video

Pros: Worked for 30 minutes

Cons: Stopped working after 30 minutes

Other Thoughts: Similar issue as previous reviewer. Installed no problem, ran a couple performance tests and was generally happy. Then restarted only to find that the video ceased to work, tested both VGA and HDMI. Uninstalled and tried newest drivers for Vista from MSI's website with no improvement. Will be returning this one...

Manufacturer Response:

1 out of 5 eggsGreat price, terrible QA?

Pros: -Small, great for Micro ATX cases
-Excellent price point for a 1 GB GDDR5 card

Cons: Both cards may as well have been DoA. The video would intermittently cut out, or sometimes just not appear at all. This behavior occurred even when in the BIOS menu. Each card was tested alone, and in both PCI-e slots available on the motherboard (see below).

Other Thoughts: These cards were tested on the following setup:

Motherboard - ASUS P8Z68-V LE
RAM - G.SKILL 2x4GB DDR3-1600
CPU - Intel Core i3 i3-2105
PSU - Rosewill RP500-2
HDD - Crucial M4 64GB SATA-III, WD Caviar 250GB SATA-II, Samsung 320GB SATA-II

4 out of 5 eggsSolid card, fan a bit on the loud side

Pros: Great card for viewing Blu-Ray videos, all the power I needed. Good value for the money and it doesn't take up too much space in the case.

Cons: I've got a total of 5 fans running full time in my case and the fan on this card is without a doubt the most noisy one. Not defective at all, just a bit noisy designed. It was just too loud for my multi-media computer setup in my bedroom. Louder than the fan on the nVidia GeForce 7800GTX it was replacing so I will be re-installing the nVidia until I find a more quiet replacement. Dang, no more Blu-Rays for a while.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Fine

Pros: No problems. Not going to be used primarily for gaming, but needed a decent video card. Rates 6.7 on Windows 7. No need for additional power.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Looks good.
