2 out of 5 eggsGood... for 10 months

Pros: Great performance. Decent Price. Great features. Originally purchased for BF3, but moved to 3d modeling and real time AV, worked well.

Cons: 3 year warranty.... Buyer BEWARE! The card blew after 10 months. Purchased for $260+ S&H. MSI will not replace, and offered me a refund of $140.

Other Thoughts: I wish I were not stuck in a situation with out a video card. My senior project was relying on proper hardware.

1 out of 5 eggs2 Bad Cards

Pros: Nothing

Cons: First card was DOA. Second card seemed fine until I actually played a game, Diablo III Beta and game crashes. Ran Futuremark and crashes. Installed SC2 to test and crashes. These aren't even intensive games. Temps go up to 70C only.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Love it. Works much better than the 6970M I have in my laptop. Two fans and doesn't run very hot for me.

Cons: Huge. Just make sure to double check the dimensions. This card was longer than my motherboard. Head to reroute almost all the wires in my case to make room.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent card

Pros: Stays cool.
Runs BF3 at ultra (40-60fps)

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought this card after returning my sapphire dirt 3 edition 2gb. The sapphire made a noise when the fans were around 80%, and the shaders wouldn't unlock. It had the Antilles chip and it overclocked like crazy!! This card...is 1gb, shaders unlock.. but doesn't overclock that well. I got the memory running @ 1400

5 out of 5 eggsMSI R6950 Twin Frozr III 1G

Pros: I bought it in december 2011, and this card is :
Fast;
Durable;

Runs whatever you want, made huge improvement after my old ATI Radeon 4870 1GB Copper from MSI.
In my opinion, one of the best cards on the market for this price.

Cons: NONE for sure! (Can't massage my back but ...)

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic card at a fantastic price!

Pros: Fantastic card that runs 35-40C on idle, and powers through all of my games like RIFT, Battlefield 3, SWTOR, and TERA's beta. Unlocked 6970 shaders EASY using ATIWinFlash and this guide: http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/overclocking/vidcard/159

Definitely will buy another once I upgrade!

Cons: I wish I could get another copy of BF3 instead of Dirt 3, lol.

5 out of 5 eggsMSI for life

Pros: Its quiet, Its powerful, runs cool, looks good and its overclockable.
This thing is awesome, i can run BF3 on high with 80 FPS and it looks great and it doesnt get too loud or too hot. I love this card so much im gonna get a new one and run it in Crossfire. I will buy MSI GPU's from now on.

Cons: MSI needs a TwinFrozr 7970

5 out of 5 eggsRegarding [AR]NicFury's Post

Pros: Regarding [AR]NicFury's Post, if you are running dual 6950's in crossfire, you MUST have a good PSU. I helped a friend of mine build his rig, which he was running crossfire (both unlocked as 6970's). Skyrim would run shoddy at best, with lots of screen tearing (2560x1600), and he was on a 5.0ghz overclocked Core i7 980x with 24GB ram, on a Crucial SSD.

His PSU was an 800W CoolerMaster PSU, while not bad...was certainly not enough to handle his cards. He would also occasionally get the random restart, a big tell. I recommended him up his power and quality, and went for the SeaSonic X1250 Gold. Not only is his computer running better, but his cards behave properly with ample power, and all his problems disappeared.

Don't starve your computer of juice. It's just like a person trying to run a marathon. The amount AND quality of your PSU are absolutely critical, especially when you start OC and Crossfire / SLI. Look at HIGH quality PSU's in the 1000W range. (SeaSonic, Corsai

Cons: Great for the value, but runs a little hot, and power is more excessive than the more refined 7000 series. This also creates noise.

Other Thoughts: Great card, and right now, probably the best for your money. One card will run most games maxed out (including BF3) assuming you are 1920x1200 or under.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic speed!

Pros: Skyrim, Arkham City, all them big time games run perfectly. 60FPS for everything on ultra high settings in 1920x1080 resolution. Has never run hot under full load, nothing over 64C.

Cons: For some reason, my screen flickers very slightly when I play games like Skyrim and there's a relatively dark portion of the screen. It did this even with vsync enabled, on two totally different monitors, but both monitors have a 60hz refresh rate, so I wonder if it's the refresh rate problem. It's not a huge issue, but it makes my eyes hurt after a while.

Other Thoughts: In hindsight, I probably should've gotten a 2GB GPU, but I think now that the 7000s are coming out, the price of the 6950 should drop, so I can snag another 1GB and Crossfire it.

4 out of 5 eggsUnlocked to 6970. Great Bang for the Buck.

Pros: Price to performance ratio.

Unlocked to 6970.

Runs quiet and cool. Even unlocked and overclocked I never see temps above 60c in my well ventilated Carbide 500R case.

Cons: Has trouble with Battlefield 3 at ultra settings + MSAA x4.

Other Thoughts: Fan is audible 50% speed.

Stable overclocked at 900mhz core & 1400 mhz memory. (Your mileage may vary.)
