  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology, which enables a new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic GeForce experience.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. 5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Card

Pros: Have 2 of them running in my system and they easily run anything and everything I can throw at them. I was able to squeeze even more power out of them with a slight overclock. Now they are at titan levels of performance and I am very happy with my purchase. Worth every penny. If you have the money, buy this card.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing, Quality Card

Pros: Primarily use the card for gaming, with a little bit of programming on the side...

Game wise, it just destroys everything I throw at it, this card replaced my HD 7850.

I will update the review in the future after I have the card powering 3 monitors, well see how that works out :)

But once again, very impressed!

Cons: None so far

1 out of 5 eggsVery Disappointed!

Pros: -Fast

Cons: Only works for minutes.

Other Thoughts: I am very Disappointed, receieved my first 780GTX and made all kinds of terrible noises, and would BSOD within 20 minutes of gaming. Would BSOD when attempting to use windows 7 assessment score. I RMA'd the card and recieved another card that did the very exact same thing, 20 mintues of game time which ended with BSOD, windows assessment would end up in a BSOD.

4 out of 5 eggsReply to Manufactor

Pros: Good

Cons: expensive

Other Thoughts: Pros: It is fast And has great benchmarks, i upgraded from 560 ti and it was better, but for the price not even close to worth it.

Cons: I upgraded and for costing 600$ more than my 560 ti, i feel like im only getting 100$ more in performance.
I never had one problem with my 560, Now even simple games like LoL crashes at start of game for what ever unknown issue. It never did that once before. The Overclocking on it seems useless. Performance boost is really low, your lucky to get 20 more on benchmarks on max overclock.

Other Thoughts: Its a nice card, But im unhappy with it considering how much money i paid for the little performance increase i got.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

What's your processor? Are you sure you don't have CPU bottlenecking the GPU performance?

AMD Fx-8350 Eightcore processor
16gig Amd 1866mhz ram
180gig corsaire force GT ssd.
Motherboard: asus crosshair V formula-Z
If my computer cant run this card to the max. Than i dont believe any computer out there can. I increased the egg by 1 cause its been a good card, However i feel this cards true value is around 400$ The performance boost is great in 3d. benchmarks are just offal for 2d for this price.

3 out of 5 eggsGotta Downgrade a Bit...

Pros: - Great Performance
- 60 FPS Play on Most Game
- Price is worth the performance

Cons: - RMA Process has Begun...

Other Thoughts: Originally I thought it might be a driver issue, but it turns out my $650 (At the time of writing this) card has some sort of intermittant issue. (No overclocking done to it, stock settings). Playing Tomb Raider and Civilization 5, both programs crash with regularity...Right along with watching video streams. Some games it's fine, usually non graphically intensive ones.

Have also had various Blue Screens vaguely tied to Display Adapter...After running a memory test and passing a few times, checking the OS for everything under the sun, and reinstalling drivers multiple times...the only conclusion I can come to is a bad card.

I understand that "this stuff can happen", but particularly with the manufactuing RMA process projected to take the better part of a month (5-15 Days + Shipping), it's really painful hit for me after investing so much into a product only to rear an ugly failure after it's fallen out of the Vendor RMA process.

This is my first MSI card and with so many competitve options I'm hesitant to purchase another expensive piece of hardware from them. We'll see how this RMA process goes, but just wanted to throw out there that I was satisfied, and now I'm sad that I've gotta go through a lengthy process to get a refurbished card.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Upgrade

Pros: Upgraded from an AMD HD5850 1GB and couldn't be happier. Maxes many modern games I've played at 2560x1440.

I'm liking GeForce Experience and the driver features. AMD's drivers have gotten better over the years but haven't reached nVidia's level.

The fan is very quiet. I can't even hear it when I'm playing graphically intensive games at 1440p.

Cons: Price. I was hoping it would be closer to the $550 price point but after debating for a long time, I decided to get it.

Other Thoughts: Delivery guy left it on my apartment door step... Good thing I didn't stay late at work.

I also like the LED logo on the side of the card, not that those types of things really matter though.

Current setup:
Intel i5-750 @ 3.6GHz
MSI GeForce GTX 780 3GB
ASUS P7P55D Deluxe
8 GB G.Skill DDR3-1600
Corsair HX750W Modular PSU

5 out of 5 eggsI love it

Pros: This card has about a 100% (2x) performance in all my games (over a 660ti) even at higher settings.

Looks amazing in the phantom 820 with a switch 810 side panel, blue LEDs, and white sleeved cables.

Very quiet, I can only here my h100i now.

Cons: Not much:

Took a while to ship

My computer Will turn on and show an underscore in the top left, then 5 mins later, the windows splash screen will show. Then it goes black. Then I restart and 5 mins later, windows loads. Anyone know why, email me @ robotluke@gmail.com

Other Thoughts: Specs:
Mb: msi x79a-gd45
Proc: i7 3820
Ram: 32gb vengeance oc'd to 1866
Hdd: wd blue 1tb
Video: gtx 780
Psu: ax850
Cooler:h100i
Case: nzxt phantom 820

5 out of 5 eggsRuns great with 3DS Max

Pros: We bought this for our Graphics producer to improve the smoothness of cutscenes and our whole team is happy we did. The GK110 is now the standard according to me in video rendering. Just unbelievable, even the cooler looks top-notch and high class.

Cons: GPU Boost 2.0 was a bit buggy at first, and we set the target temperature at 100c, because we had an EK water block for cooling on the card. The card decided to run at 50c instead of 100c, even though we checked time and time again restricting performance. Eventually we realized it was a driver problem and nVidia helped us out with that.

Other Thoughts: Overall, it helped make our production run smoother. The 780 proves to be one of the best out there and we now run two of these bad boys in our rendering test bench at ZeroLabs.

5 out of 5 eggsGame Crusher

Pros: -Card runs silently even at max load.
-Card crushes every game I have thrown at it at max graphics without getting even warm.
-Card self overclocks to performance levels greater than a stock Titan.
-Basically a Titan at half the price.
-Comes with MSI Afterburner software for performance monitoring and easy overclocking.

Cons: Voltage locked. So, even though you can overclock it you cannot overclock it and keep it stable by raising the voltage because the card is voltage locked from the manufacturer.

Other Thoughts: Would like the voltage to be unlocked so that I have the option to use water cooling and overclock it in the future. right now, though, there is no real need to overclock the card.
