4 out of 5 eggsGreat car

Pros: Fast. Lots better than my last card (4870). Plays pretty much every game I have on max settings (outside of some ultra-demanding mmos).
Super quiet and very cool. My last card had to be manually set to ~40-50% fan speed in order to keep cool. I have this set on auto, which keeps it practically inaudible and the card still stays 20-30C cooler.

Cons: Oddly enough, the 6-pin connectors are on the side instead of at the end (I'm guessing to compensate for the fact that this card is incredibly long), which made me have to rethink my cable organization. I had to bend the 6-pin cables so that they wouldn't run into my 240mm case fan.
I have a strange problem where <10% of the time, when I power on my computer, the video card fails to turn on and I have to restart my computer. This is pretty uncommon, but has happened enough for it to be annoying. It's possible that it isn't getting a good connection via the 6-pin plugs due to the issue above.

Other Thoughts: For the price, it couldn't be beat. I got it for $190 - $30 rebate - $20 promotion and then sold the AMD silver card for $20, putting the end price around $120, which is in the same price range as the 750Ti but only slightly slower than the (much more expensive) 760. I'm very happy with this card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat GPU

Pros: I wanted a card that could achieve 1080p gaming on ultra for most gaming while maintaining around 60fps. This card does just that. I've run Skyrim, Space Engineers, Battefield 3, COD Black OPS 2, Borderlands 2, Saints Row IV, Mount and Blade, Minecraft, and Pay Day 2 all on ultra at 1080p maintaining an average of at least 50-60fps and never dipping below 35-40fps. Tempwise it idles around 33C and under load gets up to 45-55C. The GPU fans in my Bitfenix Comrade case are inaudible while playing games.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I used GPUMonitor and MSI Afterburner to check Temps and FPS.

1 out of 5 eggsgoos card - horrible support

Pros: Great cards *when and if they work* temps are manageable even when overclocked, and these cards do overclock well. 2 of them in crossfire perform on par with a titan for less than half the cost.

Cons: Fan life seems questionable and I'll elaborate. I purchased 2 of these cards in april 2014 and by May both cards needed to be RMA'd for fan failure.

Other Thoughts: The reason this is one egg is that I bought these card sin May, and it is now august 30th and I still don;t have two working cards. My first RMA came back working, temps were a bit high but livable. The second RMA card was scratched up and DOA. The third RMA card has lots of damage to the heatsinc ( there is a section of about 9 fins bent in at a 60 degree angle about half an inch deep) and the card is artifacting like mad. At this point I have lost most if not all of my faith in MSI's RMA and quality control staff. Sending the card back for my 4th RMA, and at 2-3 weeks per RMA i do not anticipate having a working system almost for a continuous 5 months. If I ever do get a working card back form them, I will be selling these cards as quickly as I can. I don't have any more faith to put in this brand.

1 out of 5 eggsMsi 270x

Pros: Beautiful graphics card! Older Msi cards work great still.(550 ti Cyclone editions)

Cons: Took a chance with a open box Msi 270x card. Wouldn't boot properly(would get just a blue screen?)But its an open box buy so thats okay(Rma). Always loved the look of the Msi cards so I was shopping around on newegg for another card from Msi. To my shock I've found soo many bad reviews from their line of R9 cards from coil whine, defectiveness, artifacts etc...I cannot recommend them for this line up now. The only way to get Msi to change their quality control is DON'T BUY IT! Vote with your dollars on another brand with good reviews. None of this is Neweggs fault. I will purchase at least 1 more card from them soon as long as they take care of their customers.

Other Thoughts: Remember these cards are manufactured in China so their not going to be able to fix this problem. Even if they respond to this review from their main office probably in California will still not do anything from them selling you a defective product. Word of Mouth travels faster than you think MSI...remember that!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!

Pros: This Graphics Card actually surprised me. I was expecting it to be able to play most games at high, but honestly I haven't had a single game lag on me! I was expecting less but got more.

It also only runs at about 47C under full load

Cons: N/A

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: looks sexy. black and red!
quiet
my room temperature is 27C, It never over 54C. what a beast.
Memory vendor is hynix. easily overclockable 1100/1500.
You can sell game coupon for $20~25

Will do crossfire in the future

Cons: Msi rebate.. You have to submit it within 15 days of purchase. It's so tight.
It should be within 15~30 days of "Delivered"

Other Thoughts: When you send the rebate,
Don't send a newegg packing list! They will deny it, but they give you one more chance to resubmit. (using fax)
Send a Newegg Invoice in your order history.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great card for the performance and price

Cons: Although not a con, just a fault in my system, the card is huge and I had to move some cords around to get the card to fit.

1 out of 5 eggsNot impressed.

Pros: Great card! When it works..

Cons: Unfortunately after the second day I began running into artifact issues that persist. Had to underclock the card to get it to work properly without all the graphical issues. Latest driver/vbios didn't help solve the issue. I love MSI but I don't know what they were thinking when working on the 270X line.

Other Thoughts: I should've gone with my gut and not gotten this card, but went with it anyway just because of the MSI brand. Not really interested in RMAing it for a card of the same type since it's a manufacturing issue with this line of GPUs. Kind of let down.
