5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: MSI N750TI-2GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: Overclocks like a champ! Have it running at 1267mhz core clock and 6000mhz memory clock at under 80C. Can easily go up to 1400+ under proper cooling.

Cons: None ^0^

Other Thoughts: This card is awesome for the price! I noticed that if you want to overclock heavily with stability, you would have to modify the vbios because the card is rated a 60W TDP but by default uses only about 38-40W under load. The PCI lane can provide up to 66W. There is actually a reddit thread guiding the process if anyone is interested.

1 out of 5 eggsMSI rebate is a big lie

This review is from: MSI N750TI-2GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: - The card works with my pe4c adaptor.

Cons: - The DVI connector did not work at all. I have changed different types of DVI cables and still not able to display to the monitor. I'm having to use VGS currently.
- They are very unethical in handling rebate. I submitted the rebate claims with original bar code and everything they required. They declined my rebate because my billing address is not the same as the address on the invoice and told me to resubmit. I found this rediculous since I moved to a new place a week after I purchased the card. how would they expect my billing address to be the same as the invoice address, which was created before I moved. But that was OK. I resubmitted the claim with a revised address per their instruction: "make corrections next to previously submitted address" and sent the claim again. This time they also declined because the correction was hand written (Seriously???). I wrote back to them saying that there was nowhere in their instructions saying that the correction had to be typed in as well as there was no instruction in the rebate form saying anything about typing in the information. I wrote them again questioning them on that. Some guy replied and simply said my claim was not qualified. He even address the email to someone else with a totally strange name, instead of my name. I replied to him telling him about the wrong name and questioning him again about the rejection due to "hand writing." Someone else replied and said he would escalate the case for further review and asked me to wait. I waited for 2 weeks with no further updates, so I emailed them and asked. Several days later some guys emailed me and said they already escalated and reviewed, and they decided to reject my claim with no explanation.

Bottom line: MSI is a bunch of liars and unethical management who would use rebates to trick people in buying their product but then would find ways to reject the claims.

Other Thoughts: I will never buy stuff from MSI again, regardless how good the rebate is. This is the first and the last time.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Graphics Card!

This review is from: MSI N750TI-2GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: -Easy set up
-MSI afterburner made using this card a breeze
-Driver updates with nearly every major game release
-DVI, HDMI, and VGA ports
-Lots of tools and resources to use online

Cons: -Drivers have crashed on me twice, but an update from GeForce and a system restart has always fixed it

Other Thoughts: This card runs most games at 1080p 60fps. Don't expect any 4K resolution from this card. Good for enthusiast and those who are building their first computer. Use GeForce to automatically update your game's graphics settings for smooth performance.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful Budget Card

This review is from: MSI N750TI-2GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: - relatively cheap
- runs Dragon Age Inquisition, Fallout 4 at Ultra settings, lowest fps around 45
- draws power from mobo not psu, no extra psu cable used

Cons: - nothing in particular

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my budget build and I'm very happy with the quality given the price. I paired this with an i3 4170, and given the most graphics and cpu intensive situations like combat, it doesn't drop under 45 fps on ultra. Very happy with the card.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect entry level gaming card

This review is from: MSI N750TI-2GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: I've purchased several 750ti gpus for builds, from various manufacturers (just depending on sales at the time). This MSI is as good as any of them. This is a really nice starting point for PC gaming, especially since it does not need auxiliary 6-pin power. With such low power supply requirements it's even possible to drop into those off-the-shelf PCs and turn them into something useful. No, you won't be playing most of the newest games at maximum settings. But bump the settings down to low/medium, and you'll be surprised. And for older or less demanding (indie) titles, even better.

Cons: No displayport, if that's important to you. It's a bit longer than some of the other single-fan 750tis. Nothing too outrageous, and should still fit in most small form factor builds, I'm just nitpicking to find some cons here.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this product. One word of advice though, pay attention to the rebate period. MSI rebates must be postmarked within 15 days of purchase. Most manufacturers allow for 30 days. I knew this and yet still let the time lapse and lost out on a rebate. Really frustrating, so don't let it happen to you.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for the tight budget gamer

This review is from: MSI N750TI-2GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: Price, size, low power consumption, quiet, cool, easy installation and connectivity.

Cons: Only one con, a small one. Not a top tier card. But that's not the card's fault.

Other Thoughts: Paired with a Intel i3-530 @2.93GHz CPU
4GB DDR3 1333 G.Skill Ram
On a MSI H55M-P31 1156 motherboard
With a 400 watt power supply

4 out of 5 eggsNoise

This review is from: MSI N750TI-2GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: -quiet
-good for running multiple applications

Cons: -Drivers must be retrieved straight from the manufacturer's website.
-Although everyone here claims the video card is quiet which is believable, I don't know why mines is the exception which to me is quite concerning.

Other Thoughts: The video card has served me well as a student who needs a dual monitor and who wants to slowly ease himself in the PC gaming world. Like most reviews say here, the video card is quiet but for whatever reason, my video card makes quite some noise which gives me concerns. Hopefully it doesnt die on me after January 2016 because that is the cut out date to get another one replaced.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent product

This review is from: MSI N750TI-2GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: Owned for a few months now. The video card currently available in market with best performance price ratio. Quiet yet powerful. Good enough to handle average PC games. Overall a very nice video card for entry level (arguable low medium level) applications.

Cons: Look for 960 as next level video card (price range $150-220) if you want to buy something for medium level applications.
