3 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for.

Pros: Pros: Affordable, decent power for the money.

Cons: Cons: Lots of crashes. Pinpointed the source to be this particular card. Installed my dinosaur radeon x800 pro for kicks just to see if the crashes stopped, and they did. Go figure.

Mediocre performance. Even considering the $99 price tag. Could not run many if any games at anything better than 1280x1024(if 4:3) or 1280x720(16:9) at medium texture quality. Experiences with fallout 3 and fallout new vegas were very poor while using this card. I had to crank the draw distances down by quite a lot, and turn off the extras and run the textures, both character and world textures to nothing more than medium to get both a playable and ENJOYABLE frame-rate. No one enjoys playing a game at 25fps. Find me one who does, and I'll call him a liar.

Not an overclocker at all. If you do manage to get it clocked, it's going in increments of maybe 5-10mhz. I couldn't manage to get either clocks up maybe 10% without becoming unstable. Unacceptable.

Other Thoughts: Overall, it's a very mediocre card that just does not perform as well as it should. It gets bottlenecked easily in my experience. If you're currently looking at this card, the best advice I can give you, is turn around and start looking at the HD5770. Same price, double the capability. Very good card, I've been running one for quite some time now. Even in my latest build, just until I can upgrade to a GeForce GTX560 ti or better.

The 5770 overclocks a lot easier, is much more stable(rarely if ever do I get gpu crashes), and runs both skyrim and the old republic at 1080p with max/ultra settings at 60fps, 90% of the time. At some points in certain games, my fps will dip down to about 45, but never any lower. I have it overclocked to 950mhz Core, and 1400 Memory, and it's stable and never exceeding 55c.

Rig: Intel I7 2600k quad core sandy beach, OC'd at 4.0ghz for the time being, jumps to 4.4ghz with "turbo mode".
8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600
Corsair 750w PS

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card for the Price

Pros: Excellent card for the money. Just installed Skyrim yesterday for my daughter. It plays perfectly on moderately high settings at 1080p resolution. The large fan is very quiet and there seems to be no heat issue what-so-ever.

I installed this about one month ago on a four-year old PC along with a relatively faster CPU and more RAM to drive a new 23-inch LED monitor with HDMI. It replaced a Radeon X1950 Pro. And it blows the old X1950 out of the water. The picture is beautiful and flawless. It's just like have a brand new PC.

Cons: None. Card performs exactly as anticipated with the spec's it has.

Other Thoughts: PC: Acer T180
Acer 23-inch LED Monitor at 1080p
Original Foxconn AM2 Board
Antec 550 Watt PSU
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ CPU
4 GB Wintec AMPX DDR2 6400 RAM
VisionTek HD5670
Windows 7 Ultimate

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Purchase

Pros: Wonderful card for the money spent, handles everything i throw at it at medium to high settings. Hard to beat at the $100 price point. The low voltage requirements of this card are nice as well, powered directly from the pci-e bus.

Cons: None that i have seen after 2 months of use.

Other Thoughts: This is probably more due to the cheaper motherboard in my current build but this card doesn't handle overclocking very well. Excellent buy for the average to avid gamer playing on a budget.

2 out of 5 eggsGood, but...

Pros: Cheap, runs most games high, somewhat silent, looks nice in my case.

Cons: grey screen of death!!! not the most powerful card in the world.

Other Thoughts: After the RMA period expired, i started getting the GSOD, which is when the card just stops working, and a grey screen with vertical lines would appear. i have contacted Visiontek, without reply. I want a return.

4 out of 5 eggsOk video card

Pros: Low cost sound card. Works great with gaming.

Cons: While I am just browsing my computer, the screen will flicker. I don't know if that has to do with my video card or my Television.

Other Thoughts: The flicker is the only complaint about the card I have. It never does the flicker in any games which is great for me.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This is an all around great card and for the money it's a steal. I originally was all nvidia and i took a chance with this card and it was well worth it. Great video and performance.

Cons: The card does get hot when running on high settings. Make sure there is proper ventilation and there shouldnt be any trouble.
