2 out of 5 eggsWorks fine 'til it dies

Pros: Cheap price.

Cons: Cheap parts.

Other Thoughts: Worked for about 18 months under light usage, then I started getting artifacting and Windows BCCode 100000EA (Thread Stuck in Driver). Since the driver hadn't changed, this was indicative of hardware failure. So I inspected the card.

Upon pulling the card, I noticed 5 of 7 capacitors had blown (all of the FZ63 1000uF 6.3v), with the remaining 2 bulging. Though this card is passively cooled, I had a fan mounted in the side of the case blowing directly on the card, so I doubt it was overheating. As noted above, the card is cheap, which is both a pro and a con.

1 out of 5 eggsIts good, but with many problems

Pros: This card worked great for the first month it worked. I was very happy with it. The water in some of the games i had looked like plastic. After installation, the water LOOKED LIKED REAL WATER!

Cons: This thing only lasted a month. It stopped working.... completely. With the proper installation (deletion of old drivers, and installation of Nvidia's new drivers) it worked, but then one day, it constantly rebooted windows. My 400w psu could handle it fine. The card is big, cheap, and VERY DELICATE!!! The slightest change in drivers screws this thing up completely.

Other Thoughts: I wish this thing was as reliable as an ATI. Nvidia REALLY needs to fix driver incompatibilities with Dell motherboards. My Dimension 4550 is the most reliable computer I've owned. I would like to stick with Nvidia cards (I think there better quality than ATI), but i won't if THIS KEEPS HAPPENING TO ME!!!!!!!

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: great graphics for low price

Cons: says it's windows me ready but cd drivers only has drivers for xp & 2000.took me 2 days to install card and get working.other issuses.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to replace my old geforce4mx 440 which had replaced a nvidia tnt/riva pro card.when i replaced my NV tnt/riva with a geforce4mx440 all i had to do was switch cards, thats it.when i replaced the geforce4 mx 440 with geforce 6200le thats when thing got a little tricky. After about 2 days trying to get it to work I called evga and they had no answers and told my told return card as "defactive".i didint ,I got the card to work seems the system didnt reconized it .Games look wayy better once card is running but now my pc won't shutdown completely, sound drivers are gone or not working and some games only work when they won't to.even with all the latest drivers problems still presist.I thought all i had to do was plug in the card and up date the drivers.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Card

Pros: No fan so it runs Silent. I was worried about it overheating but so far, no problems. I can run The Sims 2 on it with all graphics settings on high.

Cons: Unfortunately, there's something going on with The Sims 2 and this card causing it not to function well when the game is run in 1024x768 resolution. Such an issue is a tad annoying but I suppose I could always save up for a better card/computer combination later on...

Other Thoughts: It's basically a replacement for my old Radeon 9250. Functions well enough I guess. I haven't had it overheat at all since I got it earlier this year. I do however wish I could run The Sims 2 in 1024x768 like I used to...

4 out of 5 eggsGood card for the money

Pros: Good performance with both Direct3D and OpenGL software. The card is obviously silent, because it has no fan. You get a lot of Nvidia's great features for the card's low price.

Cons: I find that this card overheats and makes my computer blue screen when the ambient room temperature is over 23.5 C. However, since my computer uses a large plastic air baffle to run air over the hard drives, RAM, and dual Xeon CPUs, all airflow is directed away from the AGP slot. If your case lets moving air flow over this card, it should be fine.

Other Thoughts: Thanks to Nvidia's great driver support, this card works VERY well in Linux!
