3 out of 5 eggsOkay

Pros: It does what it's advertised to do.

Cons: There is a conflict with my Asus A8V Deluxe motherboard and under Ubuntu, my network is gone when this card is in the system. So it's going to be returned.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: Delivers excellent graphics, I purchased this as a cheap way to upgrade my graphics in my Athlon XP Computer and it done the job, the graphics were beautiful although I wish that I had went with a 256MB card this one came through and did what I needed it to do. Also the price is excellent for the type of card it is that was one main factor for my purchase and the other was that it is a GeForce which means Nvidia chipset which to me last a lot longer than a ATI based card.

Cons: It does run a little hotter than other cards, but with adequate fan placement and cooling control it doesn't get as hot as it did in the beginning.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Good in old compaq wth 230watt power supply

Pros: Ok its low profile, but it fits in any size atx case just like a card that is not low profile.
I am using vista ultimate with no problem with this card

Cons: no cons

if you dont have a vista capable card when you install vista that is find but when you buy a card, go into the settings and switch from classic to aero

Other Thoughts: the box says 300 watt power supply or greater, I have a 235 power supply, it works fine for normal word processing and surfing the web, it has not errorred out or anything. I have quake 4 installed and it worked fine for 10 mins then I turned it off.

4 out of 5 eggssmall card in price AND performance

Pros: low price, physically small fit in my case like it belonged there

Cons: it was supposed to upgrade a gForce 2MX card my first impression it that it didn't, but i couldn't get a better one cus of the small PSU in my old machine which is 250W, but hey you get what u paid for

Other Thoughts: Newegg could've mentioned that this card requires a min 300W PSU, first day and card still works.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: So far, So good. I was using a 64 mb Nvidia FX 440. Big difference here. I actually paid more for a card at the local electronics store. It was a PNY(Nvidia) 256 mb 5500. It is not as good as this one. Pay attention to the speed rating. The 6200/128 mb is better than the 5500/256 mb. Another big plus for me is the 4x compatibility. My mother board is old and other cards were not compatible.

Cons: None thus far. It does what I wanted it to and the prices was great.

4 out of 5 eggsMight be

Pros: Build quality looks good, I've had good luck with EVGA products in the past.

Cons: Has an unresolvable hardware conflict with a system device on my K7D Master.

This is not a driver problem as it shows up in both Linux and XP Pro. I think it may be a problem with the 762 chipset in this mother board as it appears to be fighting with the second processor for a specific range of memory addresses.

Anyway to bad it didn't work for me.

Other Thoughts: I'm betting the card is ok, give it a try.
