4 out of 5 eggsGood until it died

Pros: The card worked very well. I mostly used it for watching TV/videos, and not much gaming.

Cons: After 3 years my whole computer would not fire up at all. I pulled it out of its little cubby, opened it up and still tried to start it to no avail. Then one time it started to boot, and I heard a pop. I looked at the card and there were flames shooting out of it! Lucky it didn't fry anything else. It was pretty awesome

Other Thoughts: It worked well, and went out with a bang.

4 out of 5 eggsKeep the fan and heatsink clean!

Pros: Great card for the money.

Cons: Keep the fan and heatsink clean! I learned the hard way! It was my own fault though....

5 out of 5 eggs8500gt

Pros: I got this card to update my dads onboard grpaics that came with his HP computer. This card ran great, have had no problems with it. It ran right out of the box with the drivers installed.

Cons: It only has 256mb or gddr2 ram, but i got it for $40 bucks so i cant complain.

Other Thoughts: Great little card, it wont let you play games on high setting but i could play crysis on all low setting fine.

5 out of 5 eggsAlmost plug and play

Pros: Works right out of the box. Great Vista Exp Score. has all three ports you need. Doesn't overheat.

Cons: Plastic heatsink?

Other Thoughts: Worked out of the box black and white, once drivers were installed there were no issues what so ever.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the money.

Pros: Great card, easy install. No motherboard tweaks needed.
Gets 44 Average FPS in Call Of Duty 4 single player @ 800by600 all settings maxed out.
30fps average in multiplayer
Oblivion gets 15-50 fps 30 average at 1024by768 all settings maxed out
Bioshock gets 15-40 fps 28 average 1024by768 all settings maxed out dx9 (I use windows XP so dx10 isn't an option)
Command and conquer 3 runs flawlessly with default high settings 30 fps, no more no less.
Sims 2 gets 40 fps average 1024by768 window mode.
Overlocks easily if you want it to with NVMoniter. My game benchmarks are done with stock settings though.

Card idles at 48c and on load its about 58-62c wich is not a problem even with the plastic heatsink it runs like a champ.

Comes with all attachments necessary. (DVI to vga svidio and hdmi adapter)

Cons: This cards heatsink is plastic, of all things.... Plastic. But this doesnt seem to cause any issues and cools the card with the fan nicely. I just don't like the fact that its plastic, could cause issues on a hot summer day with no A/C on in the house.

Other Thoughts: I can't wait to try Dead Space on this card, granted it's no 8800gt that plays Crysis on high but for 35 dollars (After MIR) this puppy is worth it :P.

4 out of 5 eggsGateway 4010

Pros: Almost Plug n Play... Disabled my integrated piece of junk and Dwnld driver from Nvidia. Reset system- and was recognized. Total time=10mins

Cons: Fan is a bit loud. Is that a plastic heatsink under the fan? lol- oh well, it doesnt seem to overheat at all.

Other Thoughts: Shipped on time in a peanut filled box. I will never go to Bust Buy again.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, for the price though.

Pros: Nice card for its price range. If you want something that can handle WoW or Team Fortress 2 on a budget, this is the card for you.

Cons: Won't run the latest games at higher detail levels. Then again this card wasn't designed for it. Go buy a more expensive card.

Other Thoughts: Other people said they had heat problems, I never saw anything like that. Could be they got air flow problems. I got a pretty open case with good air flow. If your case doesn't have really good air flow, you may want to invest in a better heat sink for this.

3 out of 5 eggsPerforms well, but runs hot.

Pros: Performance and compatibility were great for the low price.

Cons: The fan was louder than the 5 other fans in my case combined! The heatsink didn't do a good job of heat diffusion. The GPU has run hot enough that the card is now damaged.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for the moderate gamer

Pros: Good price for an mid-range card; handles lovely when playing latest games.

Cons: I didn't get two of these at the same time.

Other Thoughts: Newegg is a great site, delivery always on time!
