5 out of 5 eggsGee whiz... its a video card!

Pros: Great card for the price (I think I paid 184 after mail in rebate), blows away my 9500gt.... as it should. WoW is hardly demanding but I get no less than 70fps in even the most demanding areas (and up to 115 in other areas) so wup dee doo on that one. BD movies look great too. Sure its big, but not a problem really. Running this on evga 750i FTWedition, 4g ram, XP pro, E8400, 1000w psu (1000w is overkill btw, this setup would do fine with 650w). Stays pretty cool, but my box has elenty billion big fans. Software is easy to use, OCing is a snap, even for the village idiot.

Cons: none really, performs exactly as it should

5 out of 5 eggsQ&A

Pros: can't say yet. Am considering purchasing this item. Can anyone tell me if this card will run on PCI express. I have an Nvidia 680i mobo and runs PCI express, not the newer PCI express 2.0

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: Am currently running 8800 GTS 764 which runs great, but is dated and am having some overheating issues now. considering running two 9800's SLI.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This video card works like a charm, I decided to upgrade from my old 2x 7950s to this one. I don't have any overheating issues at all, either. I run everything at max settings, especially when I am playing in WoW (World of Warcraft) and I run with excellent FPS. I will definitely be buying another one when I build my new PC next month.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I wish I had two. I definitely recommend for those who want something cheaper right now that works great, rather than going the 280 route. I almost did, but decided I'd go with this one instead at the time.

5 out of 5 eggsso far so good

Pros: Fast, simply add another 1 or 2 when you feel it is needed (my mobo has only room for one more but okay for me). All my games run very well.

Cons: none so far.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Darn good card so far. -10c differance then a 512 single slot card. Card hasnt exceeded 51c playing Crysis with 38-45fps with good visuals and keeping the gpu fan at 100%. Havent even tried mess with oc- comes factory oc already. 1 6 pin connector to power the card!

Cons: Cant wait to get rid of this dang 650i mobo with 8x/8x pcie lanes and get a Evga 780I with triple sli for furture use

Other Thoughts: Love waiting for new tech to come out so all the prices drop on the older good stuff... I WILL be getting a EVGA mobo and another 9800gtx+ for sli. Current specs- Intel core 2 Q9550 (12MB, 2.83GHz, 1333FSB) icky 650I mobo,
8 Gig G-Skill ddr2-800, 500GB - 7200rpm Sata 3.0Gb/s, 16MB Cache, Windows Vista home premium SP1, 64bit, EVGA 9800gtx+ 1gig

5 out of 5 eggsReview Update

Pros: The card's size IS 9.5 inches long..NOT the 10.5 inches claimed by GOAT. He may have either an older version or the 9800 GTX+ in the 512mb size..which is 10.5 inches long.

Cons: It was not free

Other Thoughts: Forgot to mention that the monitor in the system is an ACER 22" at 1680x1050 DVI input.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Performance Value

Pros: Quite a substantial card, but I had NO problems installing it in my Thermatake LANBOX Lite case on my ASUS micro ATX board. Runs 37c at idle and 51c when flying the F18 on FSX.
Got up to 55fps with the MKZBenchmark. Did not use the drivers from the included CD, went to the EVGA website and downloaded the current version. Fan exhausts air out of the grille on the mounting bracket and is fairly quiet. Only one 6 pin PCI conection required. Overall, an excellant card if your budget and/or space will not accomodate the newer more expensive and larger cards. EVGA's lifetime warranty is a big plus, also.

Cons: None, as of yet.

Other Thoughts: LANBOX Lite Case
ASUS M3N78-EM/AMD 9650 Phenom Quad Core
2x2GB OCZ Platinum RAM
Corsair 520W Modular PS
Sony DRU-865S Burner-SATA
500GB Western Digital HD-SATA
VISTA Preminum 64bit

5 out of 5 eggsUBER

Pros: COD4 @ Maximum = 58 FPS
Very BEEFY graphics card! Plenty of graphics ram to handle the large amounts of data for games like Oblivion and Fallout 3. Very few, if any, noticeable lags--except when I overclock (with included software) a bit too high.

Cons: Very large, high power consumption, and it doesn't cook me dinner.

Other Thoughts: At this point, having more than one of these is ridiculous.
