5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: SOLID card. I went from an old (4-5 years old) laptop running a Geforce go5200 FX to this card and WoW went from 9-12fps at best to 60fps solidly without breaking a sweat. I haven't really pushed it to its limits yet, but I'm very impressed.

Came with a Mirror's Edge coupon. Yay.

Comes with a DVI-->HDMI adapter and a SPDIF_O cable for linking with it to your HD Audio for one output port. Handy.

Runs cool.

Cons: Fits well in my HEC Compucase 6XR8, if tight. Everyone knows how big these are by now.

Other Thoughts: This is a great card for a great price. It more than meets the requirements of your average user. I plan to use this for medium-demand CAD drafting when I'm not gaming.

I've heard great things about EVGA's tuning utilities... haven't explored those yet.

This card covered one of the PCI 1.0 slots on my Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P, rendering it unusable. It also overlapped the SPDIF_O port, making it difficult to plug the card in there. Just remember to plug it in before you insert the card.

5 out of 5 eggsJust got one

Pros: Modded a HDD enclosure just a 1/2" to get it in mid-tower sized HTPC case. This was an excellent upgrade for an aging, really aging, rig. I was unable to play UT3 smooth with a 8800GTS 356mb. The real irony is the 8800GTS was $140 more than this one. So what I got here is a true bargain.

P4EE at stock 3.4Ghz
Asus P4GPLX
Apevia 680w PSU
2 Gigs DDR400 RAM
[Yeah, I said aging, it is xxxxing older that dirt!]
EVGA includes a utility that monitors the temperature and I was astonished how cool this card was crammed into a small case like it was. I played it for two hours and open the utility and saw the graph tracking a 40C and tailing down a few degrees after a minute or so

Cons: I was uncareful plugging in the 6 pin cables. Freaked but on a recheck I merely needed to push them in farther than where it looked they were in, not much of a snapping noise when you plug it up.

Other Thoughts: I was looking for a second. I'd grab on fast as another e-tailer had none left. I did not see a "Mirror's Edge' coupon here but, oh well, the base price is less here. It is a cool game and way different, probably aimed at teen and tweener girls. Looks fabulous with this card, outstanding! I get up to 70+FPS in FRAPS online playing UT2004 a favorite of mine and don't drop below 50fps from what I saw at 1900x1200, and check the rest of my rig, D' Oh! I never saw all the 'stuff' in UT2004 until I dropped this card in.

Pros: Very Fast, This is my second card.

Cons: they took out the back plate.

Other Thoughts: Overall system performance was fast. in SLI mode it can maxed out anygame you throw in.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card.

Pros: This is a great card. It runs all the stuff I throw at it with ease. Runs cool and looks even cooler. Also the warranty is amazing. Evga is awesome.

Cons: Not really a con but mine didn't overclock as well as some others. But oh well it happens, I am happy with it anyways. Also its a little big but I don't have a problem with that. Some others might tho if they run a small case.

Other Thoughts: My setup consist of the following. Evga 780i f.t.w,Intel core 2 quad Q6600 @ 3.6ghz, 2x2g Corsair dominator ram DDR2-1100, Evga GTX 260 core 215 55nm, Creative X-treme gamer sound card, Corsair TX750 PSU, Thermalright 120 extreme cpu cooler, HSPC top deck tech station and Seagate 250g sata HDD.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Free Mirrors Edge

Cons: It's big... If you don't have a full size case, I wouldn't get this card.

Doesn't quite run at advertised speeds either. And I'm not sure if it's the card or something else in my system, but I don't get the greatest framerates. Hell, I put WoW on the highest settings and I get anywhere between 25-130fps. The 25 seems kind of low to me for the system I'm running.

Other Thoughts: Might get another one to SLI with to see about improving performance.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: I am so impressed... although that could be a result of me going from an AGP 8x (256mb) straight to this card. This card runs smooth, runs great, and makes all graphics on games/videos of excellent quality.

Cons: The DVI cable is way too short. But that doesn't bother me too much, but that could be an issue for others. The card is massive, which, when I saw it, blew my mind.

Other Thoughts: I built a 1k PC, and this board at the price is incredible. I don't see how I would ever need to SLI it with another one... things just run so well! I hope it lasts.

5 out of 5 eggsworth the pretty penny!

Pros: this gem replaced my year old EVGA 8800gt 512 card. this big boy runs circles around it easily! i play BATTLEFIELD: 2142 and for the 1st time ever i am playing it with "everything" jacked up and AA at 4x. also to note it's not even overclocked! and no lag at all to report for this game! :)

Cons: IT....IS....SHUUUUUGE! sure am glad my harddrive cage is removable in my case LOL! also this big boy does run hot at stock fan speed (40%) so turn it up to 60-70% and all is good.

Other Thoughts: i really like the rear ehxaust design because it's crazy hot coming out when you put your hand there to check that exhaust! would NOT want that in your case for sure! LOL i know for a lot of you BF:2142 isn't exactly the test guage you're lookin for, but i hope it helps. it is worth your hard earned dollars for sure. time to lay the 8800s to rest. a new erra is here.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome card

Pros: now this card is amazing i ordered a 9800 gtx+ 1 gig for 210 cuase the gtx 260 were still expensive always right after i bought it its goes down from 260 to 230 and with mirrors edge free so i took back the evga 9800 gtx+ and got that, and man sure the clocks maybe a little lower but man it has alot more stream process and playing games like crysis on good setting and stable frames is a breeze will deffintley recommened this card and is well worth the money and now that evga has a newer type of overclocking tool for evga gtx 260 threw 295 u can set the clock cuase they have profile for sc ssc and exct.

Cons: none at all
